Great video...as a full time resident, this was a fair assessment. We concur, I4 is a nightmare, however, they've since added another lane so the merge on is a little better and traffic flows somewhat. You're correct, that was hole #4 par 5. The internet still sucks but hey, I live where people vacation and note that the golf membership is included in our HOA, so that's another plus. Glad you visited and we understand why the cons would deter repeated stays.
Thank you for the comment. Nice to hear a perspective of someone who does live there full time. That’s good they added that lane!! I think everyone would have a different experience there based on expectations and what you’re looking for.
@@SuperTopher01 Disney Springs is 14 miles from Championsgate and it will take 20 min traveling on I4. Our exit is 58 and DS is 67. The back way (down Goodman or US 27 to US 192) is 10 minutes or so less efficient. I4 has had a lane added which has improved the travel. I4 is the best route.
Looking at a condo in Champions Gate . As I am getting divorced, my expectations are easy to meet. LOL. I'm hoping to live their year round though. I work in NJ, but 90% of my job is remote. Want to be close to Disney, but Celebration seems like a ripoff. You get so much more for the additional drive time. PLUS your own garage in most cases. Hope you had fun. You did the right thing doing a full month. We use to rent a home for no less than two full weeks or more. You aren't on vacation until you have at least a full week to settle in. :)
I agree with you. Celebration may be a bit much. Hopefully the traffic has gotten better. Looking back on it I wish we were going back again this year. Good luck with your condo search and thanks for tuning in!!
@@mattnrach2016 You'll go again! These are priceless years with your family. I'm going through this stupid divorce and has me wishing I could have done better for my family. We do the best we can though. Cherish the time you can take away to do these special trips. Don't let little stuff get you stressed or mad, or frustrated. AND, it truly is all little stuff. GO AGAIN! We even found that if we didn't have money to go into Disney parks, we enjoyed the endless free things you can do around the parks. Hotel hoping, boardwalk, on and on. Best to you and yours. FYI: Traffic so easy to avoid ;) Travel before 7 AM, or between 10:00 and 1:30. Or after 8PM. Anything else, is a nightmare. ;)
Yes. I went back ways home from Disney a few times. Still took forever. Just trusted the Waze app most of the time. A true local would have a better answer for you though.

How close to Disney Spring’s? Can you go to the Disney parks without taking the highway? Backroad?

Traffic Congestion is Really Bad and getting Worse at Exit 58 of I-4!
An absolute nightmare isn’t it?
If you can't bring drinks in the pool area; are you at least allowed to buy alcoholic beverages at the pool? Bar area?
Yes they do have a pretty big pool bar on site.
Florida is interesting
Is it not possible to get places without using I-4?
