Sounds great! Thrashin makes a great pipe. Fun fact: Stainless means it stains LESS, not that it’s impervious to stains. He was right to have you wipe down the pipe before starting it, otherwise the oil left from your hands causes the metal to heat unevenly… causing uneven discoloration (or “stains”) 😅
Yep, itll burn those oils into the metal basically permanetly and need repolished to get rid of it. i had 2 of my fingerpints on one of my pipes for a while from where i touched it while wiping it down and forgetting not to touch it lmao
hey tj if you see this literally everything you want to know about harleys is on blockheads channel (shoutout blockfam owoo) when i was learning about bikes last year it was one of the most helpful channels i came across. if you read this block thanks for all the help along the way ✌
Hey TJ, it's currently 7:22 in the morning here in Texas, and I am about to graduate high school. I saved this video to watch it this morning before I graduate because I have been following you since you were in high school(we won't talk about how young I was). You have been a serious influence on me, and I love everything you do. You are the man, thank you for being you, don't stop what you're doing, and #keepmovingforward.
8 years later after your OG garage, invidia install, homemade Lexus exhaust and you’re still one of my top role models, up there with my dad and a couple select others. You really inspire me to be the best version of me I can be and no matter what bs has happened to me to keep moving forward no matter what! You’re the man Tj! I’ve been watching you since before I made a real TH-cam account
You’re gonna want to upgrade the air intake box you’ll want a more high flow intake. Also going to want to get the bike tuned. Vance and Hynes offers some good tuners also most dealerships offer tuning. I’d go to a dual front caliper set for the front. Cams would also be a great way to to get more power.
@@benisrael1931 I’ve personally never used so I can’t say anything on them. I’ve had a bike tuned at Harley before and I’ve had a vance&hynes FP3 and FP2 on my bikes both worked great and did exactly what I needed them to do.

YES. Been riding dirt bikes my whole life and coincidentally I’m getting my first road bike this summer too. Can’t wait to see you branch out into more bike content, the bike community is honestly what the car community needs to look at to see a real tight knit community
@@lakaiskates8064 lol ok call me grandma again when I'm 12 o'clock past your slow ass on the freeway. It helps the family ALOT in the event a rider dies.
One of the best things about upgrading your Harley is that it’s yours. And that means no wrong no right just you. Everyone has their own style. For me it’s more about the ride and the people you ride with. And the times you ride alone and find that head space were everything just feels right.
2 into one is great for performance, honestly sound so damn good, too. Definitely should do a stage three. Do a high airflow intake, a tune. Big performance boost and the bike will be happier for sure! Bars and risers are a good choice as well, definitely good for customizing and comfort!
I got a Vulcan 650, swapped to mid controls, more aggressive handlebars, quickshifter, some cosmetics and creature comforts, and I am planning on doing exhaust and tune. This thing is comfortable, handles pretty well, and with the midcontrols it’s pretty fun when you want to have some fun in the twisties. It’s no canyon carver like a sportbike would be, but it’s a great middle ground between a cruiser and sportbike. I plan on getting a Ninja as well, and continue dailying the Vulcan.
I'm actually excited about the Harley Build! That exhaust is beautiful too 😍 Also they make a snap ring removal tool for that style without the holes. Makes the job a lot easier than the flat head
Bars bushing upgrade, intake, chain kit, cams, new tail light with inter grated turn signals, new solid 1pc rims fairing and custom Lowrider style paint. And you will achieve a show bike with some power. If you want to go bike get a s&s t143 and built proof your transmission and primary.
Been riding sportsters and dynas for the last for about 11 years now. Super stoked on these vlogs. Definitely thrashin risers and bars. I got there 8” chrome risers and their mid bend aggressive bars in black. Fits perfect for me 🤙
I knew Thrashin would end up being involved in this. Love their products. Have a bunch on my Harley 🤟 Need some different bars and risers and few small things and she'll be dialed. I'd prefer mag wheels too but nbd.
Not sure why you keep saying this isn't a motorcycle channel. It isn't a car channel either. It's just TJ Hunt. You've been successful just by showing people what you love and what you're passionate about. Just keep doing you.
The two first thing I do to any of my new bikes is a loud exhaust and under glow just to be spotted at night but definitely some risers and some bars and some pegs to make it’s more comfortable for you
I am also a noob when it comes to motorcycles, so imo it's awesome seeing someone learn about it at the same time. Love your new bike Teej. Keep them videos coming, much love from Brasil.
awesome to see you join the brotherhood. Bars will increase comfort. But depending on what your looking for there's a lot of options. Doing an aftermarket suspension setup ( Ohlins/ Legends) will be a great all around upgrade. Also doing a big brake kit with brembo calipers and new brake lines. those two will help you maximize the complete performance spectrum. after that it's motor build time and how much power do you want you can be in the low 120's hp 130's tq with just a stage 2 (cam, exhaust, air cleaner and tune) stage 3 130-145 hp and 140-150 tq (stage 2 plus a big bore kit 128/131 ic) then there's the stage 4 which is really dependent upon how crazy you want to be (stage 3 plus head work and intake) basic stage 4's are 150's squared. Big Boy stage 4's and want the craziest thing you can put in the frame 200+ hp/200+ tq 143/148 kits do exist then on any of those stage setups turbos and centrifugal superchargers can be added for street purpose riding I'd limit it to the 160's hp range with 128/131 stage 4's. over 131 and you have to bore the case and become prone to heat issues.
Glad to see a bike video from you. If in the future the bike stuff is just an add on to regular videos it will be great. P.S. I'd pull the reflectors off the fork legs.
That's a sick exhaust! Looks good in stainless, but in my opinion with the rest of the bike being green and black. A black muffler would have looked killer! Next visual mods should definitely be a license plate relocation kit. Change the stop and blinkers to smaller led ones. Then ofc a high flow air intake with a tune 🤘🏽 We all love the content you make! And it's not that you havent had bike content before 😅 This is going to be an epic build ❤️
I can't wait to get riding videos from TJ and more upgrade videos I love how he is making his videos it's way different from how other TH-cam's make there videos
I’ve never had a problem with the ram mount. They work really well but I would suggest the quad lock anti vibration ones though because I’ve had two iPhone cameras mess up from all the vibrations.
@@Dirkadew had one and phone flew off had some friend who had some and had problems though ram mounts are really good mounts but the type of roads that we have where im from its not really ideal though.

Thrashin Risers are a MUST or a Lucky Dave’s one piece T bar. TJ building a performance style softail? I’m WITH IT. I got about $30,000 into my bagger all purpose built mods. T bars, ohlins +2 up front and remote resi rears, big cubic inch motor, carbon fiber body, im pumped for this to say the least.
You may want to look into getting a faring for wind deflection and aesthetically it looks good with t-bars. I recommend the Memphis Shades Road Warrior faring.
I am a Motörhead that has been watching channel for a long time. Not really in to JDM cars but I think you keep it real. Huge Harley guy!! Like where this is going!!
I would've said a Saddlemen seat off the rip, but it already came with one! They make amazing seats. Honestly most of what modding a bike is for is your own comfort or to go for a specific look. If you want to go the bobber route I'd say hard tail her. If you want to stunt it I'd swap out the rear fender for one that's meant for that. But definitely get some bars that'll keep you comfortable, maybe a windshield for those longer highway rides. Those make a WORLD of a difference on windy rides.
When you get tired of/outgrow the noise level, you can get a Supertrapp muffler that looks almost identical to the one you just bought, but is adjustable with insert disks to control the volume as well as the mixture/backpressure. I have them on 2 of my bikes and love them.
Hey man get rid of the ram phone holder and get you a quad lock they are a lot better and they have better designs now where your phone will not vibrate as much and mess up your camera on your phone I use them on my bikes and they are amazing also another upgrade that I recommend is a swing arm bag you can put a lot more things in there for long trips if you’re not wanting to put bags on the sides also look into flush mounted fuel cap just makes the tank look more slick and clean
Super stoked fot this HD content! Best mod on this bike is trading it for a Triumph Rocket 3 R. 2500cc's 165 hp & torque plus twin disc Brembos, fully adjustable quality Suspension, 6 axis IMU, quick shifter option (the equivalent to a sequential... but usable everywhere.) and only $2k more for a brand new one BROTHER! Your audience loves this content, clearly.
From experience I’d do cams and intake at the same time. It will really wake the bike up especially with a tuner. I would not get my bike tuned at a dealership as they err to the side of caution and then also know what’s been done to the bike to me it’s asking for trouble in the long run. I’d put some good tires on and lower it just a lil with good springs and shocks it will look and ride better.

I started riding when I was 12, and bought my first Harley when I came home in 68. The best thing I learned about them was there's 3 kinds of owners. Number 1 can take it apart and put it back together and it runs like a Swiss watch. Number 2 takes it apart and puts it back together, but never gets the wrench out of his hands 'cause it's never quite right. Number 3 realizes he's Number 2 and takes it to Number 1! Took me 10 years of wrenching to finally figure out I needed to be Number 3.
Air cleaner for sure to open up the whole exhaust system so probably a Arlen ness stage one. Then proposed Pegs, grips, quick mount Memphis shades windshield for long rides, thrashings supply bars , handlebar risers, and a license plate relocation
Leather saddle bags, will not only make it easier to travel around but, they make the bike look uber cool, also goes on and off pretty quickly. Please get yourself a nice pair of steel tip boots, besides all the safety issues with wearing sneakers, it’ll make it so much easier to hold up your nearly 900lbs bike at a light or anywhere else you are standing still. You definitely need some Harley clothing plus, Sabrina was made to wear Harley Ladies and will look incredible when she’s backseating with you!!! When you get new pegs, you want to match your shifter, rear brake and hand grips to all the same or very similar. Look up Kuryakyn and Arlene Ness for all The Fire Parts you’ll love, right up your alley!!! Keep the Rubber Side Down, Ride Safe. PS real bikers wear fingerless gloves to make life much easier (first time you try to reach in your pocket, you’ll understand why).
Moons MC for lighting, FLO for pegs and levers, s&s for a cam, Deviant fabrications is a good place for fairings, TC bros for bars and risers, biohazard cycles is where I go for a lot of all around stuff for my bike
i also got my first bike recently. its actually been a year but i love it sm, i daily my hd street glide and got rid of my car. plus if your worried abt the kickstand messing up your floor, you can find these little plastic plates that you sit the kickstand on. dealers use them for the all the bikes inside the building
Glad you’re getting into bikes, and welcome to the bike life lol. I build bmw bikes and cars on my channel and I have a lot of different ideas and mods on my bikes I think you’d like for led lights and cleaning up the look of the bike. Sounds amazing and be safe!
Love the new sound! I think it would have looked better to keep the black theme but everyone does their own thing with Harleys! You should definitely get an intake and tune to open it up now that it’s more free flowing.
imo some dark brown grips would look awesome on that bike or even the same color green that bike already has oh and bar end mirrors, they are always sick!

HARLEY CONTENT! HELL YEAH!!
Ikr sounds soo good 🔥 loving the mix between bikes and cars
I have a 1991 Harley sportster 883 glad to see someone I watch finally understands my passion
Love it TJ and Thrashin in one video 🤯🤯

They’re the first people I thought of for you to hit up! So glad you guys linked up!

I’d run Screamin’ Eagle Cams with the DynoJet Power Commander and quick shifter
Super stoked fot this HD content! Best mod on this bike is trading it for a Triumph Rocket 3 R. 2500cc's 165 hp & torque plus twin disc Brembos, fully adjustable quality Suspension, 6 axis IMU, quick shifter option (the equivalent to a sequential... but usable everywhere.) and only $2k more for a brand new one BROTHER! Your audience loves this content, clearly.

YES! About time somone mixed the bike scene in, all credit to you TJ definitely get some naughty mods for the girl.
Be safe man
YOOOOO lol that editing in this video today was A1 Chef's kiss 👨🍳🤌
From experience I’d do cams and intake at the same time. It will really wake the bike up especially with a tuner. I would not get my bike tuned at a dealership as they err to the side of caution and then also know what’s been done to the bike to me it’s asking for trouble in the long run. I’d put some good tires on and lower it just a lil with good springs and shocks it will look and ride better.

TJ - if you’re not feeling that handlebar phone mount you should check out the quadlock moto mount. super sleek and works really well
Moreee bike content!!! The Harley rocks mate!! Ride safe!!
Keep the Rubber Side Down,
Ride Safe.
Look into a stainless steel braided front brake line! Takes the spongey feeling out. 2 wheels down teej👍🏼👍🏼
Keep the Harley vids coming definitely enjoy them it’s a dope change up
i also got my first bike recently. its actually been a year but i love it sm, i daily my hd street glide and got rid of my car. plus if your worried abt the kickstand messing up your floor, you can find these little plastic plates that you sit the kickstand on. dealers use them for the all the bikes inside the building

Small front fairing and 12” ape hangers
Please add more doggo content makes my day!
Loving the new Harley content! Keep them coming. they are so much fun and fairly easy to customize.
Order T bars asap bro will make and handle a lot better 🙏🏻
imo some dark brown grips would look awesome on that bike or even the same color green that bike already has oh and bar end mirrors, they are always sick!
I'm so here for the bike content. That's thing sounds so sweet!
