C'mon. . . these guys have all been around bikes before. The crew that maintains the bikes have to have an amazing relationship with the riders, and you know they've got their chops. All props to the "Prop-Master" & Crew. And I made a pun, too.
A few of the actors had actually never ridden motorcycles prior to filming, including Charlie Hunnam, though he later went on to be the most skilled rider on the show. But definitely agree that the prop crew and actors had a good relationship off camera.
@Karate208 A Dyna superglide weighs 630lbs+55lbs of fluids= 685lbs wet. The largest Harley electra glide ultra classic weighs 850 lbs wet. Even the largest motorcycle, the boss hoss 502 might tip the scales at 1200lbs. If you can't pick it up you can't ride it.
only problem besides ppl trying to kill the riders. is it is too wonderful to have no helmet on. wish we could ride w/out. I can't walk, but I have high hopes about being able to ride! my g'pts & mother all rode before me!! lol
Then I have three friends that are superman. Watched a friend of mine in person do a wheelie in a parking lot on his full bagger. Other two I have seen pictures.
3 kinds of riders, ones that have dropped them, ones that have & won't admit it and ones that will one day drop them. I have dropped my bikes three times, once the first week I rode, Next on a larger bike I was getting used to & took a corner that I didn't realize I was turning into an incline & the third time I really didn't drop it, I was getting off of it, parked on a slight incline & didn't have the stand down all the way & it fell. Current bike is 750 pounds, so far not dropped it.
@walelacorntassel So true. Currently riding a ZX10R, rode a Yam VStar before that, just love all bikes. Now with my grandfather who was like a dad to me losing his life in a motorcycle accident a few weeks ago I'm finaly going for the Fatboy he was always telling me to spoil myself with.
@fesiz This show is better than the shield, nip/tuck... or rescue me... and those are pretty good shows, this is by far one of the best I have ever seen in my life. I'm 25... I can't wait to see the rest. no way they are goin' to cancel it man

@mastakilla64 some mc do require the same bike farings are really useful keep so wind off you and when you like live on a bike thats good you can put stuff up there like gloves and helmants up there my buddy atchally put one of the nets up there so he can throw random stuff up there and wont fall out and yes thats ron saying that in this another thing he says 700
@mastakilla64 Every club is different and in alot of MC's the bikes are all as different as the rider but that being said, don't bad mouth a Dyna b/c they are solid and efficient. I remember hearing Sonny Barger (one of the most well known members of HAMC) say don't join an MC if you want to be rich. Some guys can't drop $30k on a dressed Harley. Dynas are comfortable enough to do a long run and less expensive.
@weg2rt I'd have to disagree friend, most club's require 1200 or larger, Nothing wrong with a sportster, In my opinion the sporty is more of the working man's bike, It's more affordable, larger aftermarket choices, can lay down just as much power if not more than any big twin, Just because a Sporty has a smaller c.i. than the dynas,& softails doesn't ruin it,Old Shovelheads were only 1200s,Pans & knuckles were only 900-1000ci,you'd be surprised how many MC's have sportys,The man makes the bike.

Love it! But why didn't they tell about Mayans bikes: Softail series? If SoA ride simple bikes like Dyna series, Mayans bikes much more colourful and kinda... boasting.

I don't like that basicly the bikes are all the same, except for bobby's and the trike. All Dynas? Everybody's got the "drag fairing" (I think actually a cafe racer fairing) I've never seen any club where the bikes all look the same like that. Some guys would have sportsters, soft tails, street glides, road glides, ect..... You can tell that one guy designed all of the bikes. I've kinda taken a liking to the drag bars on tall risers (also you can get the same look with tall "window bars")
Well it is a Harley so it aint fake they ride might not be real bikers but most Actors make stunt doubles ride their bike in scenes like the ones on the show but these dudes(most probaly never rode or owned a harley before) did and make as real looking as possible

Don't know if they mentioned it in the vid, but what are those weird (forgive my lack off info, but im not heavily into bikes) shield like things they put on the front of their bikes in some scenes, they have like the weird two bulges sort of coming out of them, and are usually placed on their lights. I dont know if its a permanant thing, but i feel like in some scenes they are taken off, can someone please clarify. I've spotted it on Jax's bike, in one scene it's on but the next it isn't?
Well if you watch the show all of the charters have different bikes but all the members of each charter have to same bike. They use "ugly" bikes beacuse they are simple when you are running guns you don't want alot of flash you want function. I love all their bikes I am a fan and a rider and a bike with a full gas tank can weigh up to 1000 lbs. My bike weighs about 1500
@koryan sucks for you only takes 2 here (power wise) but when your 17 with a full licence you can ride anything you want i think as long as it only puts out 34bhp so you could ride a 1000cc bike as long as its restricted

@pepisbom Probably a dyna. Unless you get a hard tail to start, you'll need to get a weld on hard tail and a springer front end.
