- In this video, I show removing my LazBoy Recliners, the ones I replaced my U Lounge with 10 years ago, and all the installation details and modifications I made to a 62" Lambright Lazy Lounger recliner sofa, so it would work with my 2014 Leisure Travel Vans Unity Murphy Bed. If you want to see more on how it works, watch my previous Show & Tell video for more information.
The U Lounge that came in our 2014 Leisure Travel Vans Unity was incredibly UN-comfortable. We replaced it within the first 6 months with LazBoy Recliners that I had to heavily modify to work with the Murphy Bed. After 10 years we decided it was time for a change and decided to order a custom recliner sofa from Lambright Comfort Chairs. We picked the 62" Lambright Lazy Lounger because it works for all the parameters we wanted. I do need to slide the far recliner section over to put the bed down. If you're looking for a size that covers the slide floor, wide enough from inside arm to inside arm, for the Murphy bed to come down between the arms, then the Lambright RV Harrison, that comes in lengths of 72" or 78", might be a better choice. I wanted an inside arm dimension 62" and Lambright doesn't make a sofa with that precise dimension. So I went with the Lazy Lounger that has a 62" outside arm dimension and made modifications to allow me to easily slide one section when I want to lower the bed. It works very well for our needs because we wanted to keep the original side of the old U Lounge. The 62" Lambright Lazy Lounger is super comfortable, and the Dove Gray Ultra Leather we selected looks great with the interior of our 2014 Unity. We also got the folding tables option added to the sofa. The tables fold away to the side of the arms when not needed. The pull for the recliner function is on the inside of the arm. We ordered our Lambright Lazy Lounger directly from Lambright. We specified the color of Ultra leather we wanted, the 62" Lambright Lazy Lounger, 41" seat height, inside pulls for recline function, and folding table tops. It took them about 3 months to make our Lazy Lounger and they freight shipped it to our house. It came in 3 big boxes, which contained 7 pieces. The sofa is 3 sections, 2 Recliner sections and the center console. They have interlocking connection points so it's very easy to get through a LTV door. The total cost, including shipping, of the 62" Lambright Lazy Lounger was right at $3000.
Major Parts Used:
-Fixed Wheels, www.amazon.com...
(wheels need to have a height of 2.5" or less, I bought 2.25" ones and used spacer and washers to achieve the perfect height to support the sofa)
-Felt Tape, www.amazon.com...
-1/4"×1" Machine Screw & Locking Nut, www.amazon.com... and www.amazon.com...
We also have a Murphy bed, and I like the way it worked - really nice job!

Just as a heads up around 19 minutes, she installed the couch in her RV.
