@@mikekrabal, my girlfriend and I accidentally watched this entire video. We were planning on going to bed but just kept on watching. Good job. and, yes, no filler music was nice.
I am a lady senior with only the most minimal carpentry-tool experience (no electrical!), but Michael, you were a pleasure to watch in action! God bless.
As a carpenter for 40 years now it’s good to see younger folks working with wood and as a carpenter that tried videoing the making of one of my projects, my hat is doffed. Thank you for NOT using filler music in your videos. That TH-cam hamster music drives me crazy. Cheers.
Thanks for the audio feedback. If I'm being honest, the beginning of your first sentence made me nervous. I thought you were going to lay into my carpentry. Thanks for going easy on me. There's nothing more intimidating to me than someone who's been building for decades longer than me. I'm trying my best but still very new to camper building. Thanks for checking out the build!
Couldn't agree more with the sentiment of music. There are moments when music can be good, but TH-cam creators often use it too much. The audience doesn't need a constant onslaught of noise. A little exposition on what you're doing, shots that show it and that is all you really need.
Thank you, sir. I am planning to add a bit about that in the camping video that will be coming soon. I haven't tallied it all up yet. Thanks for watching!
I would think a carpenter would object to the use of lap board for bottom wall structure. Those lag bolts aren't very useful, because the wood is the weak point, not eh fastener. Under enough stress, load, or long term shock and wear, the structural failure of the design is the bottom boards splitting, which pine will do.
Hi! I’m a 49 year old Mom from Texas. This video came up and I could not be pulled away. Pretty sure my husband is gonna build me one of these!!! BIGFOOT! BIGFOOT! BIGFOOT!
I couldn't be more impressed with your design, attention to detail and good old common sense. It is a beautiful little creation! It felt like you thought of everything! Great job!
Thank you for not adding annoying filler music. Quiet is so much more relaxing to watch. This is well done, both in terms of presentation and subject; the camper is amazing! By the way, you can never go wrong with neutrals (browns, wood tones, etc.) with something like this, as it lends well to the outdoor surroundings. Bravo.
As someone that used to caulk trim for architectural windows, my hats off to you sir for your caulking skills and thoughts on preventing water invasion!
I have to tell you my friend you’re explanation and commentary is so inviting to listen to. You take your time to explain all of the important concerns that you or anybody else would have I thoroughly enjoy your videos and wish you the best of luck. Keep on building my friend. I gEt you’re feeling you are a very calm and nice guy like most people from the south. Here in Canada we are also known for kindness and hospitality but I find people from the south such as yourself to be much more obliging and humble take care be well and I hope the Lord blesses you and your family with all the best things in life.
I greatly appreciate your feedback regarding the audio on the video. It's terrifying to record it then release it to the public. Your comment helps me learn what folks want to hear. Thank you for your time and for checking out the build! I've been to Toronto once, and as you described, the folks were top notch! Great time it was.
Sir, you are amazingly talented! What a blessing you are to your family. May God bless you all with not just enough, but more than enough. You said you've always struggled financially, being transparent to your viewers. That speaks highly of your character. Not to be preachy, but God's Word says He gives us the power to get wealth. He has blessed you with gifts that you are using very well. You're cooperating with Him as you do your part. I pray again, may our holy and faithful Heavenly Father bless you and your family with more than enough, in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen and amen. 🙏 🙏
My family camped a lot in the 60's. My Dad finally bought a small trailer to keep my Mom from sleeping on the ground in a tent. I can imagine us being perfectly happy in this trailer. Wonderful work, Sir. I enjoyed watching all the way through.
You asked for suggestions, here's one that will add some more rigidity to the front and back of the roof. On movie sets, anytime we have to make curved walls we use a bendable ply wood called "wiggle board". It comes in 4x8 sheets, from 3/8" to 3/4" thick and can bend down to about an 8"-10" radius and works amazing for longer curves (like on teardrop campers). Not every lumber yard carries it, but if you call around you you should be able to find it, just make sure you get sheets that bend the right way because you can get it in long grain bend (a full sheet would make an 8' high, 4' perimeter column) or cross grain bend (4' high, 8' perimeter circle)
Thank you for the help! There's been a lot of great suggestions regarding those curves. I haven't yet heard of wiggle board but I'll investigate it. Folks have mentioned bendy ply. Maybe it's the same or maybe they're different. Either way, thanks for checking out the video and the tip!
Wanna know what I thought at the end of the video while you were showing how it looks? "that looks like a place you'd make a lot of great memories with your family and friends in". First time I thought that after watching one of these, I think that says it all. Awesome work, sir.
Stop criticizing yourself. You’re doing something that most folks would never attempt. I enjoy watching you build and figure things out. PS hello from a fellow WV’an!
I don’t know why you are criticizing him for criticizing himself? Yes it sounds negative when people do this until you become educated as to why. Its not negative behavior its actually creates more reply results through empathy. The more reply’s the better possible solutions. Here is the “science” behind criticizing oneself: “One of the reasons we use self-criticism is to motivate ourselves to do something about the threat to our self-concept. So even though the method is a little warped and clumsy, what Self-Criticism is actually trying to do to keep us safe by motivating us (with pain and discomfort) to take action.” People hate seeing animals or others suffer even watching a You Tube video of some dude building a camper (its actually a trailer, campers go on the back bed of a pickup, idk maybe its dif in WV?) thats the only piece of criticism i can find. Your electrical cant be per code but its not a house with 200 amps AC either. Still people put wayyy to much trust on the cheap teflon coating American engineers specify for the Chinese manufacturers when making that wire. To me if the teflon (insulation) over the wire melts if you apply solder to the wire then its not aerospace or marine code & cheap wire which needs to go through a cheap plastic pipe or it has potential in a short to catch all that pretty wood on fire & that’s catastrophic. Wire also comes in “high temp” the low temp is for GM & Ford whose only concern is to build for the lowest price even if it costs a fortune to repair. You simply end warranty before repairs are expected. And that’s why Ford has the electrical power steering thats cheaper than hydraulics, cheap to install as you are installing it at the FACTORY, but costs😮 $3,000 to replace in a 2008 Escape. Yeah, it is designed with shareholders in mind, NOT CUSTOMERS. So thats the only thing that i questioned. Also, i used to work at a few aerospace companies & know how horrible quality could be when I transferred to work for consumer purchased industries which have low quality expectations. If you are spending $325-million for sayyy a 777 it damn well better be perfect your boss has no problem putting your ass in jail if anyone dies because of your lack of quality. & yes its happened. Not to me. But spend $35,000 on a Chevy & your entire tire+ rim falls off driving 70 down the freeway was factored in that $35,000 price tag & “accident Lawyers” get more than you. Its not gonna make GM build an expensive fix, they knew the wheel had a potential to just come off & thats why you got that $35,000 low low price. It ain’t a Cadillac. So I wasn’t raised in Detroit i cant build cheap crap but i can sure identify it. Build it like your Toyota and please do not staple cheap wire onto wood. Vibration alone will force the staples loose or it can go the other way & cut into the wire. Use plastic zip ties only to bundle & secure wire or cables to an insulated surface with plenty of slack so the wire isnt a tight fit. Any soldering use high temp solder, same as plumbers use also called silver solder or lead free, as it uses silver instead of lead which melts under a match. Silver melts at a higher temp & makes a stronger electrical bond than lead.
I think this was a great build!! The only change I might make is to put the GFCI in an easily accessible place and wire all outlets in a chain. That way, you don’t have to worry about water incursion at any outlet and can easily reset the GFCI once the problem is resolved. You could leave the GFCI behind the fridge and just wire the other outlets together downstream of a single GFCI with the same outcome. I will incorporate some of these great ideas in my build this year or next.
Absolutely love this build! One thing Id suggest for next time = put a waterproof layer under that water tank, either paint/seal it, set the tank in a tray, or use more rubber roofing. U never know when a connection will jiggle loose over road bumps! Great job!!!
This is absolutely gorgeous i mean it blew my mind it can sleep with 4 people and you have a bathroom. This is freaking awesome. I know you and your family will have a lot of great camping trips
I concur, i LOVE the color scheme, its warm, natural and BEAUTIFUL ✨ if youre compelled to introduce another color, perhaps try a pale or olive type green. That'd go well with the scheme, i think. You did a great job on the whole camper!
Sometime try using Burlap on your interior as it looks cool. And maybe put a solar panel on it but for the side like over the door as a flip up awning.
I vote for the brown, with the trim it looks like mountains! Very earthy! Plus it looks like it was meant to be that color! If I could afford one, I’d buy from you in a heart beat! You are a master builder! BTW I LOVE your water heater, I may just have to try that my dang self for my bus, as it’s still not gotten plumbed!
I keep stalling out on small camper projects because I've never had the courage to do exactly this; build from scratch. Very inspiring to see someone pull it off and with such flare
gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! I love your use of space and how you managed to squeeze in sleep for 4 as well as a bathroom. Also really enjoyed seeing your simple round window coverings and how you simply hang them on a hook when not in use. The flip out bed hinge and sliding cupboard doors are something I had been hoping to see demonstrated. My favorite quote, "I'm 200 in real life and 180 in my head."
I like not having to listen to music; your voice is enough for sound. 1. I love this little camper, and I want one! 2. I want to build myself one. 3. I'm happy to watch you do it; I feel much better informed than I was before. Thank you!
I agree with many of the other comments, which is that the narration style and overall presentation of the video make it interesting to watch without the "video fatigue" that often sets in with longer videos. Great job!
I'd rather listen to the silence than the bad music. I love how innovative you were with this build! A shower is a MUST for my future build. I love seeing all you were able to do here.
Thank you so much for documenting so neatly - and time-consuming. This is the good old YT-Style we are missing more and more. Ppl often simply make a video and do not edit at all, after having no script at all.
Thanks for having a look at the video and the feedback! My early videos were not very good and I hope to continue refining a style for folks enjoyment.
Really lovely video. Great informative commentry. The lack of music is what makes this video more charming...You are above all very humble and modest when in fact your skill is amazing. Thankyou for sharing.
This is beautiful! Loved your narration and no background music. Please don’t add any. Perfect the way it is. You earned my subscription. Look forward to your next build.
Mike your trailer camper is absolutely beautiful. You are certainly gifted. It was a joy to watch your build. I am a 68 year old female, always loved building projects, did many things for myself, when I bought my house. I just love to see the finished project. Follow your passion and God bless you. Wonderful work.
WOW!!! I checked out your vintage camper as well. I love ❤️ your work, but most of all - your humility! It’s so nice to hear someone learning to become better be so humble about your mistakes that morph into skills. You will always be learning. Let us know when you open that business of yours. I think you’ll have a line of future customers. 😊
TY! I loved camping so much when I was young enough--I love watching people design campers, enjoying the technical details--and the real people campers instead of ugly million dollar "Fit-your-McMansion-in-this-box" RVs. So much more fun in a tiny trailer or camper (My parents owned a monster after we had a trailer and a camper, while my brother, sister and I had tents--tiny and simple leave more time for nature and fun). Sit inside and read as the mountain breeze flows thru....and the simplest food tastes so delicious when you're hiking everywhere. Love the full bath in such a small trailer. TY again!
Thank you so much for watching and leaving those comments. I really appreciate fond memories you shared and how they shaped your life and the way your whole family was involved. It's such a pleasure to hear of camping stories like yours. And I agree, we've lost a touch of charm in modern builds. That's why I stick to mostly wood builds. You can't beat the character. Growing up in California in the 50s must've been wonderful. I have been there a couple times and I love the landscape. Thanks again and all the best to you, my friend!
Great job! I love your shower curtain rod! The exterior is grand! Love the wooden mountain look! Perfect! Your reading this from a lady that lived 18yrs in mobile homes..In 2 states. New York and last Ohio. Then a total of 5yrs living out of my 1991 Dodge Caravan. Finally I had enough money and better job to live indoors. So you can take my word.. Your a gifted gentlemen! Stay Humble. Ohio/Northeast 😊
It's great to hear from Ohio, our neighbor state. I am with you, my friend. I didn't live in a home without wheels until I was 16. Maybe that's where the fondness for campers comes from. Our family moved from trailer park to trailer park here in West Virginia. I'm now grateful and somewhat fond of those hard times and they keep me grounded. It's good to hear that you're now living better and no longer in the van. And it's good to hear from someone who knows what it's like to get by with less. Thanks for having a look at the video. I greatly appreciate it!
I subscribed. I've been a builder/custom woodworker for 45 years. I found your camper very interesting.. because it's mostly wood I will be very valuable for as long as it is maintained. My hats off. Keep up the good work. 🎉
Absolutely beautiful work, Mike. Your eye for detail is incredible, and the fact that you did the entire build without highly detailed plans says a lot about your creative genius. Your a gifted narrator, and your genuine humble personality makes me wish I was your neighbor! Again, what a beautiful work of art! Now all you need is a nice logo on the back with your phone number on it for potential customers. The minute I hit the lottery, I'll be calling you! Rob (California)
To start THANK YOU for no music!! I really like how you did the rubber floor in the shower. It gives me ideas for what to do in my bus build. What glue did you use on the fabric. Also I'll be using the osb with quarter ince idea for my table. Thank you so much again for no music. If the video is good like yours it doesn't need music as a distraction.
Thanks a bunch for the audio feedback. It helps me know how to set up the next video. I simply used Gorilla clear construction adhesive for all of the fabric in the camper. The curtains, the bench seat and the rear ceiling. It's the $13 a tube version. Expensive, but rock solid when it sets up. I wish I could take credit for the roofing rubber. That goes to my stepdad. He's a roofer and recommended it.
“Sanding is just one of those things that has to be done, but man I wish it didn’t.” That one cracked me up! 🤣 Great work, Mike. I really enjoyed this video.
My mom is a retired fire marshal. It's not just the thieves for the hinges. it's so you can't get trapped inside if something falls in front of your door. :) but i guess that door is thin enough that you could beat it down to get out.
Thanks for that insight. It would be incredibly easy to knock out one of those windows. They're water tight, but thin respectively. Thanks for watching!
Your comment reminds me of the Sims game, where random fires frequently appear. 😂 Strangely, most people never set their houses or campers on fire over a lifetime. Though everyone should keep a small fire extinguisher handy, and know how to deal with different fires.
I have to say you are probably one of the most talented. I don’t know what to call it handyman you do the carpentry you do the electrical you do the plumbing you’re an all-around. I don’t know the right word for it but you know your stuff let me just put it like that.❤ and since you’re so good at it, don’t be surprised if your wife hand you a honeydew list from time to time these things are super cool. I said boy I wish I could get him to come down here to Texas and build me a tiny house even if it’s, I mean it wouldn’t have to be because My Son has plenty of room in his backyard but yeah that’s what he wants to do. He wants to build me a tiny house just for me and my dog cause I’m over there every weekend watching his kids and doing his laundry and stuff anyway that would be so wonderful and I guess you know exactly what to use that works better than what doesn’t and what’s the cheapest cost and what isn’t I have to admit? I am a little curious that what do you do with the ones that you’ve already built do you give them family gifts or do you sell them or do you have them somewhere? You’re amazing dude for real.😊❤ I wish you and your family the very best. I really wish there was a way. Maybe you could get a contract with the government and make some of these things maybe make up small camper village or something and have the government put the bill since you really seem to like doing it, there are so many homeless people in the world that would be a great thing
Thanks for checking out the video! You sound like a really great mom and grandmother. I bet your son appreciates the extra help so much. And I hope you guys can get that tiny house that you want. I'd love to be able to build a project like that for you, but I'm a one man show and it would take me forever to build something that big. There are a ton of tiny house builders out there that could help you guys out. But it is tough to make anything affordable these days. You asked about what happens to the other campers. We still have one, we repurposed another by reusing its trailer, and have sold two of them to help pay for the things needed for our new son. I would love to keep the campers, but we just don't need so many of them, so we might as well let other folks have some fun with them. I keep building them because it seems like that's what folks like to watch on the channel and it's a super fun hobby. I wish I could say I had natural talent at it, but I've been a construction worker and handyman, on and off, for two decades and that's where I learned to build stuff. Lots and lots of long, boring days in attics, crawlspaces and cold winter days and miserable hot summer days doing construction. I'm now thankful for those days and I'm trying my best to build using the skills learned then. It's funny how life shapes us into what we become. I love Texas and have spent a lot of time there. We've been to Luckenbach, Gruene, Fort Worth, Big Bend and Houston, and up to Amarillo. It's an awesome state! Thanks again!
Love watching things done well. You put a lot of thought into this build detailing for strength, waterproofing, and layout. You will love using it! Next on your project list...masterminding tiny houses!
Classic ingenuity sir. Terrific Blue Collar American can do skill sets. You were born 100 years late. Great thinking, great attitude. Thank you for your time. Respect 🙏 🫡
What a fantastic camper you built! You truly have a talent! Thanks for making this Very informative video! Looking forward to seeing more builds in the future!

9:07 180lbs in my mind got a follow from me. Idk what it is about yall diy guys, yall are better comedians than actual comedians now and days. I swear. It’d be the most subtle one liner that gets me too.
I loved this camper! It reminded me of the campers so popular in the 50s and 60s. The curved details were great! You are one talented builder! Keep it up!!
Excellent presentation! I watched the whole thing and loved it! Your results from experimentation deserves recognition by the products' companies. You were a great advertiser on what products to use. Nice build! Looks awesome!
I think you are doing an amazing job. You paced this video extremely well. You did not talk too much nor too little but just enough to narrate perfectly. I really enjoy some of the background tools sounds. You are as creative and ingenious with your videos as you are with your building. Great job don’t change a thing.

To me the only interesting builds on TH-cam are the ones done on a tight budget. Great job. I hope people will appreciate how much work goes into things like that. And thank you for not adding stupid music to distract from the video, It is great the way it is.
I'm a woman and have never built a thing, but I watched this from beginning to end in amazement. Your commentary was thoughtful, and the trailer AMAZING!! You have a real talent for building and video creation❤
Great job. I suggest you use several coats of Rust-Oleum paint & their rubber paint on the outside to protect the wood better from the weather. If you want that natural look, it comes in clear too. Happy travels. ☺️
In my paint store, hanging above the counter was a sign that read: MEN who want to choose a paint color. MUST HAVE a permission note, signed by your wife. Lol.
I love watching these campers being built. My Grandfather built one back in the 40s or 50s that was similar in style as this only bigger and much heavier. It was turned into a bedroom for my sister in the late 1960s. This was the style of the campers when camping first became popular to the masses. Locks only keep out the honest people. I have forgotten to close my garage and shed doors at night. Thanks to the good Lord I have not lost anything. I don't live in California or Indiana anymore either.
I would love to see that camper your Grandfather built. Those years for design are the ones that inspire me the most. And that's really neat that it was repurposed into a bedroom. That would be so fun as a kid. Thanks for checking out my build. I greatly appreciate it!
I have learned an enormous amount from watching this. I don't think I'll ever try to build something ambitious like this, but it will still help me a lot with smaller projects. People like you are heroes.
I realy like that you dont put in music. It make it easy to hear what you are saying (both for us that doesn’t have english as our first language and for people with hearing problemes).
Absolutely amazing attention to detail. No such thing as overbuild, especially with something that moves. Nicely decorated and looks cozy. And, as others have said, no music is a refreshing change.
i loved your commentary. i appreciated NO MUSIC playing as it often distracts or muffles words of dialogue. don't change anything. love your style.

Thanks for having a look at the video!
dude, I’ve been watching camper builds for 20 years and this thing is incredible. So much attention to detail my friend. Amazing work!
Thanks for having a look at the camper! She ain't perfect, but I'm trying my best.
What a beautiful functional well-built camper!! You thought of everything. Thank you for sharing. 💕
Thanks for having a look!
Thank you for no music!! The amount of information you give us it’s insane.
Thanks for watching and for the audio feedback!
My family camped a lot in the 60's. My Dad finally bought a small trailer to keep my Mom from sleeping on the ground in a tent. I can imagine us being perfectly happy in this trailer. Wonderful work, Sir. I enjoyed watching all the way through.
Thanks for having a look at the video. I greatly appreciate your time and you for sharing that good memory. It's nice to hear things like that.
Thanks for having a look at the build!
Stop criticizing yourself. You’re doing something that most folks would never attempt. I enjoy watching you build and figure things out. PS hello from a fellow WV’an!
Thanks for the support and for checking out the build. It's good to hear from a fellow West Virginian.
I don’t know why you are criticizing him for criticizing himself? Yes it sounds negative when people do this until you become educated as to why. Its not negative behavior its actually creates more reply results through empathy. The more reply’s the better possible solutions. Here is the “science” behind criticizing oneself:
“One of the reasons we use self-criticism is to motivate ourselves to do something about the threat to our self-concept.
You're doing just fine
Absolutely love this build! One thing Id suggest for next time = put a waterproof layer under that water tank, either paint/seal it, set the tank in a tray, or use more rubber roofing.
U never know when a connection will jiggle loose over road bumps!
Great job!!!
Wow l watched this whole video and l am stunned. Never interested in carpentry but this wad awsome sir. You are talented 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
This is absolutely gorgeous i mean it blew my mind it can sleep with 4 people and you have a bathroom. This is freaking awesome. I know you and your family will have a lot of great camping trips
Thanks for checking out the build!
The brown is beautiful! Together with the lighter wood it gives a very 'down to earth' vibe. It reminds me of clay.
Thanks for the reassurance about the brown, and for watching! Greatly appreciated
I concur, i LOVE the color scheme, its warm, natural and BEAUTIFUL ✨ if youre compelled to introduce another color, perhaps try a pale or olive type green. That'd go well with the scheme, i think. You did a great job on the whole camper!
@@mikekrabal🦋🌿 Beautiful Build! I love how the colors are relaxing and fit into nature
Thanks for checking out the video!
My favorite parts of this were you're humility and honesty. Also, I really loved that there wasn't music.
Thanks for checking out the video and the audio feedback. That helps me know how to set up future videos.
What a great self learner you are. So worth watching. We'll watch them all.
Thanks for checking out the video!
gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
I hope to provide a better tour on our camping video coming soon. I'll make sure to show those cabinets. Thanks for watchihng!
@@mikekrabal Brown, Brown, the trailer is Awesome the way it is! 💕
I like not having to listen to music; your voice is enough for sound. 1. I love this little camper, and I want one! 2. I want to build myself one. 3. I'm happy to watch you do it; I feel much better informed than I was before. Thank you!
Thanks for checking out the video!
I agree with many of the other comments, which is that the narration style and overall presentation of the video make it interesting to watch without the "video fatigue" that often sets in with longer videos. Great job!
Thanks for having a look at the camper!
The sped up "ahhhh" as he sits down at 13:15 is hilarious to me
Thanks for checking out the video!
Me too, I did lol😂
Yes 😂😂😂❤
I'd rather listen to the silence than the bad music. I love how innovative you were with this build! A shower is a MUST for my future build. I love seeing all you were able to do here.
Thanks for having a look at the camper! All the best on your build!
Don't repaint - your trailer looks GREAT. Your love for your project really shows.
Thanks for the color feedback. It is greatly appreciated!
@@mikekrabal This one was very valuable. And even I as non English native could understand the most because you kept voice and video close together.
Love the camper and your unique video style.
@@TimHayward Thank you, sir!
Really impressive, loved it. That hour just went in a flash :)
" I'm 200lb in real life and 180 in my mind" - classic!
Thanks for having a look! Your time is greatly appreciated!
Dude - when he said that, I was like - "damn! he's the same as me!"
Really lovely video. Great informative commentry. The lack of music is what makes this video more charming...You are above all very humble and modest when in fact your skill is amazing. Thankyou for sharing.
Thanks for having a look!
This is beautiful! Loved your narration and no background music. Please don’t add any. Perfect the way it is. You earned my subscription. Look forward to your next build.
Thank you for that extra level of support for the channel!
You are very talented and should start your own camper manufacturing company. Amazing work
I have looked into it. If I ever can, I'll make video or post to share. Thanks for having a look at the build!
Mike your trailer camper is absolutely beautiful. You are certainly gifted. It was a joy to watch your build. I am a 68 year old female, always loved building projects, did many things for myself, when I bought my house. I just love to see the finished project. Follow your passion and God bless you. Wonderful work.
Thank you for having a look at the camper. It's great to hear from fellow DIYers!
Thanks for taking time to look at two videos. I greatly appreciate that! Have a wonderful rest of your day!
This video was miles better than any other camper build. Extraordinary job friend!
Thanks for checking out the video!
Amazon or harbor freight . Sleep cheap and drink wherever you go
One could never appreciate the detail work without having followed your video.
Impressive integrity, skills and talent.
Thanks for having a look at the build!
Your a gifted

I think that curtain rod was my absolute favorite creative addition to the build!!
Thanks Rob! I appreciate you taking some time to check out the camper.
I don't often watch an entire video on this subject, but yours was just so appealing and your work is beautiful. Cheers!
Thanks for checking out the build! Your time is greatly appreciated and I'll keep building stuff to share!
Excellent build. Even better narration. Carefully and clearly stated with a bit of humor. Absolutely terrific from start to finish.
Thanks for having a look!
You are incredibly talented. The camper looks amazing! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
“Sanding is just one of those things that has to be done, but man I wish it didn’t.” That one cracked me up! 🤣 Great work, Mike. I really enjoyed this video.
Thanks Bryan! Good to hear from you brother!
My mom is a retired fire marshal. It's not just the thieves for the hinges. it's so you can't get trapped inside if something falls in front of your door. :) but i guess that door is thin enough that you could beat it down to get out.
I was thinking that campers are sposed to have a fire escape window installed at the opposite end of trailer that the door is.
Thanks for that insight. It would be incredibly easy to knock out one of those windows. They're water tight, but thin respectively. Thanks for watching!
That would be nightmare getting trapped inside.
Yes but .. have to think of a insulated when damp or snow outside.. otherwise it is just for pretty days!! What will you do to make it waterproof???
Your comment reminds me of the Sims game, where random fires frequently appear. 😂 Strangely, most people never set their houses or campers on fire over a lifetime. Though everyone should keep a small fire extinguisher handy, and know how to deal with different fires.
You can never go wrong with gray. So many shades to choose. One with a blue base would look beautiful with that wood tone. ❤
Really enjoyed the video. Brown is fine. Wishing you and your family many great camping adventures.
Thanks for checking out the video, and for the reassurance about the brown. I appreciate that!
Thank you for the video. Impressive stuff. And THANK YOU for not adding a distracting and unnecessary music track!
Thanks for the audio feedback! I appreciate that a lot!
Men that can do stuff like this are extremely underrated. Amazing job!
Thanks for having a look at the camper!
I always appreciated work boots under the bed😉
Very fun. Love the two tone look. The brown is great.
Thanks for the color feedback!
Love watching things done well. You put a lot of thought into this build detailing for strength, waterproofing, and layout. You will love using it! Next on your project list...masterminding tiny houses!
Tiny houses have been on my mind for quite some time. They're super interesting! Thanks for having a look at the video!
So well thought out and built! You’re very talented. Great job!
Thanks for watching!

What a fantastic camper you built! You truly have a talent! Thanks for making this Very informative video! Looking forward to seeing more builds in the future!

No need for music, your commentary is spot on
I have a short attention span and rarely watch videos longer than 5-10 minutes. This kept my rapt attention the whole time.
Both the camper and video are excellent. Well done.

Another successful build Mike. Retired FedEx Drivers Rule!
I loved this camper! It reminded me of the campers so popular in the 50s and 60s. The curved details were great! You are one talented builder! Keep it up!!
Those old campers are my inspiration. I have a 67' trotwood in the driveway that will be getting restored hopefully soon. Thanks for watching!
Excellent presentation! I watched the whole thing and loved it! Your results from experimentation deserves recognition by the products' companies. You were a great advertiser on what products to use. Nice build! Looks awesome!
Thanks for checking out the camper! I truly appreciate the time you spent watching the entire video. It truly helps me to keep building!
I think you are doing an amazing job. You paced this video extremely well. You did not talk too much nor too little but just enough to narrate perfectly. I really enjoy some of the background tools sounds. You are as creative and ingenious with your videos as you are with your building. Great job don’t change a thing.
Thank you, sir! I really appreciate that video feedback as it helps me to know how to set up future videos. Thanks!
absolutely beautiful work! The brown is a very cozy look. All of the personal touches are so charming!

I was imagining you mounting to the axle and ripping your garage out 😂😂😂
Woowee, that wouldn't be good! Thanks for checking out the video.
