A Cherry Blossom Season Visit To The Dog Friendly Congressional Cemetery

Located in the secluded neighborhood of Capitol Hill in Washington DC, Congressional Cemetery is a hidden gem to visit, walk your dog and learn some history. The cherry blossoms was also blooming when Genie and I visited this weekend.
The cemetery requires a membership for the dogs, but a day pass is available to purchase at the gate. I spent hours strolling the ground and reading the headstones, and met many fellow dog walkers and their pups.
