I sooo like the gravesites of presidents and the backstory involved. The further back you go the more exciting it gets due to the way that they conducted themselves in a much different era.

Wow!! that’s amazing. The four presidential gravesites are in walking distance from the White House!! The cathedral looks beautiful!! I didn’t know Woodrow Wilson was buried in Washington DC. Somehow I thought he was buried somewhere else but that’s amazing, I know that JFK and William Howard Taft is also buried at Arlington national cemetery. Washington DC. But that’s really neat and something I didn’t know, as always, Steve thank you very much! Been a long time fan and supporter of the channel from day one and I just wanted to say thank you so much for making such amazing videos!! It’s a true blessing to be able to come along in your adventures and it’s amazing because my favorite places you have visited are the American presidents, I’m a huge fan of American presidents, and I’m also a fan of sports such as baseball and football, I just wanted to show my appreciation, and that I thank you so much!! here’s a quick story, when I was in Boy Scouts, and I was a part of the 2005 Boy Scouts of America Jamboree, I had the privilege to tour all of Washington DC and see everything, one of my favorite places that I went to visit was Arlington National Cemetery, and I got up real close to see Presidents JFK and his family’s gravesites with the eternal flame, and William Howard Taft, I also got a chance to see Robert E. Lee’s Arlington farmhouse and I also went to the Smithsonian museums and that was a real amazing experience, especially seeing the air and space Museum, I also got a chance to see the Washington Monument up close, the Jefferson memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial, we also went to see Monticello, which is the home of President Thomas Jefferson and we also got a chance to visit Mount Vernon the home of President George Washington, that was a real big honor and one last thing we were stationed an Army National Guard base and on the last full day of our trip, President George W. Bush got a chance to speak to us at an outside arena, and thousands of Boy Scouts from all around the world, came to the national scout jamboree, and I met a lot of people from all different states and all different countries, and everybody was really nice there, and in 2007 I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout at the age of 15 years old and in 2008 I had my Eagle Scout court of honor ceremony and what was really neat was I got a personal water from George W. Bush himself and he actually signed it, congratulating me on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, that is something that I will always be proud of even though that trip was 18 years ago I will be forever thankful for having that opportunity.

That's wonderful!I saw JFK's original grave with his 2 babies in July of 1964.The only one I missed was Hoover's as we were moving and I stayed in the car with my cat when my family did see the graves. We hope to see the Carter Graves eventually.

Sadly when I revisited DC in 2021, the Cathedral was still shut down due to Covid. I had visited Wilson's Tomb in 2010, being one of my first Presidential Gravesites, but wasn't able to revisit it on my trip to DC. But the Cathedral is absolutely breathtaking and I will revisit it again soon. Great video as always, Steve!

My Dad lives in the Ballston neighborhood of Arlington and I always jump on the metro and walk around Arlington National Cemetery when I'm down visiting. I suggest going to the graves that are not so famous and crowded. There are so many famous people buried there and most people don't know. There's nothing like going to the quiet parts and really taking it all in. It's stunningly beautiful.

I have actually been to the Washington National Cathedral, as part of the trip I took with my 8th grade class to Washington, D.C. That was back in 2014, and I still remember that trip, as it was one of the most fun and most adventurous for me. I didn't know President Wilson was buried there at the time, but in recent years, I had learned about it. Hopefully in the future, I'll go back. During that same trip, we got to visit Arlington National Cemetery, where we got to see President Kennedy's gravesite from a distance, but I can't remember if we learned that President Taft was also there. So, I've really been in the presence of three Presidential Gravesites as far as I know, and it's surreal to learn about.

Are you going to be covering Robert Blake. I know he is controversial but he was in that Truman Capote movie In Cold Blood. One of the most realistic movies I ever saw. Filmed on the scene of the murder and actually had extras that were residents of the town. Blake did a wonderful performance in this brilliant film, based on the Capote book. Keep up the good work on all these videos. In has been a while. I hope you can produce more.

It is hard to believe Woodrow Wilson played that many rounds of golf knowing that his wife kept him from the public and congressmen due to him having a debilitating stroke.

I read somewhere that he already planned his funeral and it will be in DC. I think it will probably be held at the National Cathedral, but I couldn't verify it, so I didn't mention it. His website says he will be buried at his home in Plains, CA. I was hoping he would make it to 100, but sadly it doesn't look like that's in the cards for him. :-( Thanks for mentioning him Donald.

It was weird to me that people can go to church and sit next to Wilson on Sundays. He did a lot of good things but his legacy will always be tarnished by his overt racism and writings that have come to light in the past few decades

I agree Kevin, his location does seem strange, but kind of neat, too. Sadly, many of our presidents, politicians and religious leaders were and still are racist and sexist and homophobic and just plain cruel and heartless. Worse though, is that as a country we continue to elect them and allow them to hold positions of power and authority. And often it's the people they hate who are their biggest fans. That's the part that I don't get! :-(

Wilson was such a golf nut, he would play in the snow using a black ball. Information from Ripley's Believe It Or Not.

A recent TH-cam video called him the worst Great President. I thought this was a more generous estimation than he deserved.
