I still enjoy watching it today because it is such a contrast to what the world has become. Science and technology don't have to mean dishonest and Godless, selfish, and against family and work ethic.... but that is how it has gone. There are great life lessons in the show.
God, family, and community (in that order) are eternal truths, despite what the "woke" world (and whatever crap they are peddling these days) offer. Sermons can be spoken on the great moral values of this show. I am a 61 old single male who grew up on this stuff in the 1970's, and everything just rang true in my heart. I still watch this as my "guilty pleasure". How far we have fallen.
Growing up, I watched this show religiously. It came on at 5 o'clock and I would not go out to play until I watched it. The first episode I watched was the "Country Girls" and I was hooked ever since...
She’s always been my favorite. I was in love with her as a young boy. Then I moved on to Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years. I’m sorry Melissa. We must move on.
She's still cute after all this time. She's 51 years old while this footage. And they've got all something special, Melissa Gilbert, Alison Arngrim, Karen Grassle, the boys too. Each of them is unique.
Little House was my Monday night ritual with my dad in the late 70s/early 80s. My sister would go to cello practice with my mom & my dad and I would watch Little House together. He died in January of this year and lived with me & my husband for 10 years. There were many evenings I’d come home from work and catch him watching the reruns. I miss you, Dad. 💗💗💗
I believe Ma and Pa Ingalls are still everyone's dream parents to this day.... Karen Grassle's voice alone shoots me back 40 years, in my childhood... Amazing.

Yes she was a brat and a half, totally created by Mrs Oleson. But the one they adopted after Nellie left was worse! I have read Alison's book and she had a really difficult childhood, as did Missy Francis, who had a total stage mother, and very physically abusive.

Marie Maria I know, right?! I watched the originals, plus still watch reruns, & actually read the entire Little House on the Prairie book series! I had the collector’s edition in the yellow box, & loved it!!! I think they later wrote a second series about Laura’s daughter, Rose, but I’m not sure. A beautiful set of books! I always hoped I would have a daughter to pass them down to. Have since followed Melissa Gilbert’s movies through the years, & love her work. I always hoped for more from Melissa Sue Anderson. Was hoping they would tell more about what each of these actors is doing now!!!
Jaime Dornan Lady It’s a disservice to do an important interview this way. Someone needs to do a special hour interview with the whole cast of Little House on the Prairie. And the second hour with Michael Landons children. It would be watched by many!

I recently purchased a complete DVD set of this Little House at Walmart for $59.00. It consists of 9 seasons with 200 episodes plus 8 hours of special features. What a treat for me and Never had a second thought of buying it.
I remember I would walk my girlfriend home right after school and her two younger sisters would faithfully sit down and watch this show. I would visit my girlfriend for a bit watching "Little House on the Prairie." What fond memories those days were.
Still watching reruns during this pandemic. I binge 3 hours of it Monday thru Friday.. in 74 I was a young nurse and my husband was in school so had little time to watch it. So grateful it’s still on... the best antidepressant ever

Little House on the Prairie is one of my favorite TV shows of all time I love every season and every episode. Congratulations to the whole cast for bringing this TV show to every household. God Bless You!
@Moody Blues ... Last week, Inside Edition featured a brief clip on Karen Grassle's new book and included her account of how she was bullied on set by Michael Landon, and that when she requested a pay raise, she was told no, and that she wasn't as popular with TV viewers as she thought. She was also paid the same as the child actors on the show. I still love the show, but it has colored the way I see Michael Landon. Karen Grassle has always been my favorite on the show since my childhood and I'm glad she kept her job because the show certainly wouldn't have been the same without her.
But it wasn’t so in real life. Read the facts. Michael wouldn’t talk to her other than in the roles because Karen asked for more money. He told her no, that the story wasn’t about her and after that…no closeness only on tv. Karen is a recovering alcoholic, too.
Yes and not only that, he sexually harassed her. According to Karen he was sexist bully on set and he would joke about the smell of a woman’s private parts after sex while they filmed a bed scene. And he would cut her out of scenes (because she asked a raise). I've heard/ read so many negative stories about Michael. He did everything for his image, so people loved him.

Yep, I used to watch it as a kid and started recording them on dvr now. Have them all cued up. Been watching them when I want a little get away. I saw the very first episode today. A lot of good morality stories.
I watched the show when I was young, now my mother, who is 87, and I have watched the show from the beginning. It’s our nightly routine. It was such a wholesome show that you just can’t find nowadays! Everyone looks fabulous!💞💞💞
I still cry when watching the shows. Michael Landon was my favorite actor. I was heartbroken when he passed away. It’s good to see that all the actors get along so well still to this day. 😊❤
It's nice to go back and visit everyone's childhood home away from home. Everyone either wanted to be charles Ingalls or have him as their real father. It's wonderful to see the values taught in LHOTP reflected in people's real lives. I hope Michael Landon knew how many people he so deeply touched and affected with little house and highway to heaven. He tried his hardest to make it about the good in humanity. He's sorely missed.
Allison Melissa Gilbert is an amalgamation of cosmetic surgeries . Melissa Sue Anderson is a natiral beauty . Beautiful Dna creates beautiful people . Melissa Gilbert without surgeries was a average , pretty girl . Not ugly certainly but not nearly as beautiful as Melissa Sue Anderson
This show was told to me , by my mother ,how she love to watch it , and from then on I still watch it with my children and they love this show ,this show has a lot of values that all families should teaches their children in today's world ,values that are rarely progress in today's world
Matthew did THE BEST scene when he was on drugs and withdrawing with Pa in the secluded cabin. What an actor! That's when I fell in love with him. I felt so badly for Albert.
@@farrellmcnulty909 supposedly Anderson didn't get along with anyone...some said it was because of her mother maybe she was one of those horrible stage moms
Cookin With Dave N Kitchen That's pretty hilarious if you thought Melissa Gilbert was prettier than Melissa Sue Anderson. But you have a right to your opinion.
Laura Ingalls Wilder is very reflecting my childhood..so active n silly..😅😅love this movie so much..n melissa gilbert is still so pretty..wow..and mom is still on the shape..everyone is still georgeous..wow..wow..glad can find the show..thx 4 the video..👍👍

Allison Lol I went through a stage where I started calling my parents “Ma” & “Pa” for some reason as LH aired! I have no idea exactly what made me start that, I just remember it didn’t go over well. 🤦♀️🤷♀️ I LOVED the show, & I still remember episodes of it all these years later (turn 50 in a couple weeks!). I also grew up with values from the show as well, and also from the original books in the series. Favorites of mine forever!
Omg the memories of watching the first show are rushing back at me and it’s awesome seeing everyone now. The little house Christmas specials are on right now “ Christmas that they never forgot “ and “Christmas at plum creek “ I could watch these shows all day.
makes me cry..I had a lonely life in highschool and did not have this kind of family culture. We all need to love each other and stop putting people down. I have had a depressing life.
That sucks and I'm sorry, I can absolutely relate. Life is so short and my own family life was dysfunctional, then I was also bullied and never fit in in school. Now I'm 44, lost most of my family, and no one even needs me in their lives, to make any friends. Yes, I've had a very depressing life as well. I loved this show growing up and love it still; I think I'll start watching reruns again as they bring a peaceful, loving feeling to me.
i do not know how you feel, but i have had the same issues as you. bullied and terrorized growing up, and not very close to my family. divorce after 20 years of marriage... life can be tough. so sorry for you.
I grew up watching it, I’m 54yrs old. To this day I watch it. My mom is in a nursing home and she has a big flat screen TV, and that’s her favorite show!
11/24/21: Didn't watch when it was originally on, but began during COVID, and am I now addicted to this show. Love the times when God and love and looking out for your neighbor was so important. Michael Landon was a genius.
Little House on the Prairie, it's a series that I always followed as a child, I liked it a lot, thanks for what you did, you were fantastic actors, sorry for those who flew to heaven, salute to the stars ❤️❤️❤️
I wasn't born yet when this series aired. I am so glad Amazon Prime has the whole series and have been binge watching it since. One episode that is my top favorite is when Carrie falls down the hole. That episode was so beautifully acted and directed. On a side note, has anyone noticed how infectious Michael Landons laugh is?
This was a wonderful series. It had everything a viewer could want: it was wholesome, authentic to its time, it had drama, humor, tragedy, adventure, trials and hardtimes and celebrations and happy times. Michael Landon would be proud of the enduring legacy of this show. I still enjoy the reruns.
My heart is melting, when i See them all after all this years together. I got tears in my eyes. The all look great. Matthew Laborteaux looked like 30 years ago. I like him so much. Greetings from Germany.
Wow, all my favourite charcaters from Little House of the Prairie, Laura, Mary, Ma, Almanzo, Albert, and of Course Nelly. Great reunion. Missing the Olesons, Pa and Mr. Edwards. They will be missed and beloved. Thank you for this great Video. I really love it
Melissa Gilbert looks pretty good for being 50 years old. I watched almost all of LHOTP during its original run. I have all of the episodes on DVD, including the movies. I'm still a huge fan of Michael Landon's labor of love that has touched so many.
Actually if you think about it none of the girls look as old as are suppose to be. Matthew and Dean are really the only 2 who look their age or at least fairly close. Meaning the girls all probably look younger due to their makeup or plastic surgery.
DeEtta Leaton 50 seems a lot older than it actually is, especially the younger you are! I turn 50 mid-November, & pple. still think I’m in my late 30’s/early 40’s. I’ll take that any day! I grew up watching LHOTP on a regular basis, then watched the reruns. Still do when I catch them! Right along with The Walton’s and MASH, my favorite shows! I knew them practically by heart! More so after watching the episodes so many times!
I live in Germany, after the early death of my parents I grew up with my grandmother. I have 4 siblings who grew up with other family members. In Germany, the series always ran on Sunday afternoons. We children always watched the series together. I get very sentimental when I think about it. It's really amazing how many people this series has reached around the world. Here in Germany the series is called „Unsere kleine Farm“ 👏👏👏🥰
I love the fact that Michael Landon set the end of the work day so they all could be home for dinner. Too bad that doesn’t happen anymore in that industry. 😢
In Argentina, my country, we know the show as "La familia Ingalls" (The Ingalls Family), we are watching the show now through a cable channel. I still enjoy it after so many years!!!
@Bambang Widyamoko Me too! I still watch the re-runs of LHOP on COZI TV in 2020 and I never get tired of it and I watch The Waltons on ME TV and INSP TV because there is nothing good to watch otherwise. I can't stand watching the ID channel because it is always about murder and other crimes and they are disturbing to watch.
Loved this!!! I watched the show as a little boy back in the 80s. It was in reruns even then! Watched when it came on after school in the afternoons. Great memories! Now I rewatch all the time on streaming services. Just binge watched the entire series again on Freevee. Currently on season 8 episode 15. The first six seasons are definitely my favorite. I swear I cry like a baby nearly every episode. This show just brings it out of me! And that’s why I love it. ❤ I love Michael Landon’s genius in creating a show that focuses on what’s important in life. Family bonds, Faith, love and friendship.
From the time I was 9, I have had a crush on Melissa Sue Anderson. I'm 54 and she is still just as beautiful and I still have that crush! I learned many life lessons from this show. Friendship, Loyalty, Respect and Trust, just to name a few.
This is gonna be soo deep I’m only commenting in the hopes they see and know this shows impact still today and how it helped me for years now. I first saw it while I was in my early teenage years, I was in care and had no family around me it was just a group home/care home with rotating staff. So as odd as it sounds I looked at the ingalls like a family and was influenced by them, like you would your actual family. It was and still is like what Melissa A said, like a warm blanket. I honestly believe if it wasj5 for this show I’d not be as grounded as I am nor would I have my morals. In a way, you could say I grew up an ingalls. Really hope the cast see this especially Michael jr, because his dad and his show really helped me through those years.
Nellie was the original "Mean Girl" Love all these actors and actresses and this series will always be my favorite....I grew up watching this show...this show even trumped Monday Night Football in the 70's in our house.
It is weird that i grew up while this series was on NBC and hearing about it and not once showed any interest in it and now 30 plus years after i am watching the reruns and i am absolutely obsessed with it. I am always drawn into mom and Mary.
Im from Greece and i remembered in 1975 and in 80s always watched little house .. me and Melissa Gilbert the both have born 8/5/64 , all my love from Greece and sorry for my english
Such a beautiful show with awesome actors and actresses that performed above and beyond to give great family entertainment that is family oriented!! We sure don't have this now days with this aweful programming with sex and violence as well as cursing! Michael Landon was a beautiful person with a heart of gold. He cared and he made entertainment the way it should be on television. If only we still had these type of shows on today, I think we would have less shootings at schools and abroad and also there would be more respect towards the elders. I really hate to think about what it will be like as I get older and the care I may receive as I age. This entire cast was really awesome back in the day and still are! I wish them the best and these 7 cast members in this video look really great!! Karen really looks awesome doesn't she? I sure miss Little House and yes I watched every chance I got and still watch even today!! I even cried when they ended this series and blew up the buildings. I sure never wanted the series to end.......
I never get tired of looking at Little House on the Prairie. I love going to visit Walnut Grove & seeing them. It's so simple & innocent. I need the DVD's or BlueRays.
He's always been handsome. I had the hugest crush on him in the 80s, and have to say I might have a re-crush on him now ;) He really hasn't changed much at all.
That show meant something special to me because it spoke of a time where God, home, and family were the most important things in life.
God ,familiy , home is most important things in the world yet

Loved that show so much. Lovely people... Rip dear Michael.
Hello 👋 how are you doing?
I watched the show when I was young, now my mother, who is 87, and I have watched the show from the beginning. It’s our nightly routine. It was such a wholesome show that you just can’t find nowadays! Everyone looks fabulous!💞💞💞
Both Melissas are adorable!!!
C est une série exceptionnelle, saine et instructive. J ai 66 ans, je la regarde toujours, je m en lasse pas. Je l adore.
Great show. Such a big part of my childhood. I still watch it today.
Wonderful to see this cast again. Wow! Brings back a lot of good memories.
I still cry when watching the shows. Michael Landon was my favorite actor. I was heartbroken when he passed away. It’s good to see that all the actors get along so well still to this day. 😊❤
I cry like it's the 1st time seeing an episode
It's nice to go back and visit everyone's childhood home away from home. Everyone either wanted to be charles Ingalls or have him as their real father. It's wonderful to see the values taught in LHOTP reflected in people's real lives. I hope Michael Landon knew how many people he so deeply touched and affected with little house and highway to heaven. He tried his hardest to make it about the good in humanity. He's sorely missed.
The best! Melissa Sue Anderson looks great!
Oh yeah, you aren't kidding! MSA crush at age 13, guess I still have it to some extent!
She sure does!
Mellisa Gilbert "Laura" is actually still really beautiful too but her hair looked like crap here...... she should have worn it down!
Thought her name was Melissa gilbert
This show was told to me , by my mother ,how she love to watch it , and from then on I still watch it with my children and they love this show ,this show has a lot of values that all families should teaches their children in today's world ,values that are rarely progress in today's world
You can tell she still has the exact personality as Caroline. She makes faces like Caroline did and talks like her. It’s so crazy.
Matthew did THE BEST scene when he was on drugs and withdrawing with Pa in the secluded cabin. What an actor! That's when I fell in love with him. I felt so badly for Albert.
He got off the drugs and later died from a blood disorder.
Loved Albert
I grew up watching this show in the Spanish version in Bolivia. I love how this show educates many people around the world.
I am happy to see Melissa Sue Anderson together again with the whole cast. I am happy that Melissa Sue and Allison are together again.
Yes. I don't think they like each other very much in real life
@@Allie8567 Well, Arngrim wrote about their not getting along, but as they grew older, they mellowed toward each other, from what I hear.
@@farrellmcnulty909 supposedly Anderson didn't get along with anyone...some said it was because of her mother maybe she was one of those horrible stage moms
It is said that there was significant jealousy of Melissa Sue on the part of the other girls. Who knows?
Who said anything about them being together again?
I loved house on prairie! I wouldn’t miss it for the world. I watched the reruns. I’m 66 now!
Me too and I am 62.
Melissa Sue Anderson is one of the most beutiful girl-woman in the history of earth.
Matthew Labyorteaux is still cute :D
What’s also funny is that Patrick Labyorteax (I think he is Matthew’s brother) ALSO played on the show! He later played as a regular on JAG!
Cookin With Dave N Kitchen That's pretty hilarious if you thought Melissa Gilbert was prettier than Melissa Sue Anderson. But you have a right to your opinion.
agree. Melissa is so pretty
Maco Gomez she really is. Never understood why she didn’t become more famous.
Cookin With Dave N Kitchen do you need glasses ?
I loved it as a kid, and now my daughter loves it. Truly a masterpiece!
My husband cried after every single episode. He loved that series. Thank you all.
Most of the episodes were sad and depressing.
@@harperstacey9604 heartwarming
Laura Ingalls Wilder is very reflecting my childhood..so active n silly..😅😅love this movie so much..n melissa gilbert is still so pretty..wow..and mom is still on the shape..everyone is still georgeous..wow..wow..glad can find the show..thx 4 the video..👍👍
You were all a dream for me....really...and you still are!You had the perfect family. I was a little kid then, I am a grown woman now but I still watch Little House on the Prairie and feel soooo good..All the values I took from you, follow me...I want to thank you all so much for inspiring me in my life.I have to say you allll look gorgeous especially ''mom''...I Love you all and I wish you had another shoot of this wonderful series...PLEASE do....I adored Michael and I know that he watches all of you from Paradise...He was the kindest, dearest person...THANK YOU ALL!!!
You mean "ma"
Allison Lol I went through a stage where I started calling my parents “Ma”
& “Pa” for some reason as LH aired!
Love " Little House On The Prairle" watching every evening when growing up, so happy to see all of them reunion.
Omg the memories of watching the first show are rushing back at me and it’s awesome seeing everyone now.
The little house Christmas specials are on right now “ Christmas that they never forgot “ and “Christmas at plum creek “ I could watch these shows all day.
My mam loved this show so much when she was a child that I'm named after Laura Ingalls ❣
Omg! Melissa Sue Anderson was my favorite actress! Loved her in Midnight Offerings! Beautiful eyes!!
She was also in a horror movie called, happy birthday to me. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
makes me cry..I had a lonely life in highschool and did not have this kind of family culture.
It's been a year since you posted this comment and I hope you are in a better place in life right now
I can relate but hey we can change this by showing Christ's love and care to others.
Hope it is better now. God bless.
I grew up watching it, I’m 54yrs old. To this day I watch it. My mom is in a nursing home and she has a big flat screen TV, and that’s her favorite show!
Kilter Kaos When I was a young small kid I would watch it with my Grandma. I’m 38yrs now and I still watch the reruns
OEverettC The show was good at stirring up emotions, especially Michael Landon.
my favorite tv show whn I was young back thn..its bring back the memory..I stll love LHOTP...bring tears to my eyes.
Thank you all so love watching little house on the Prairie.. I have to see them every day..
Still watching from morocco this wonderful série ...

2019
11/24/21: Didn't watch when it was originally on, but began during COVID, and am I now addicted to this show. Love the times when God and love and looking out for your neighbor was so important. Michael Landon was a genius.
I loved watching this show and The Waltons while growing up. They were my favorite shows.
Little House on the Prairie, it's a series that I always followed as a child, I liked it a lot, thanks for what you did, you were fantastic actors, sorry for those who flew to heaven, salute to the stars ❤️❤️❤️
My all time favorite! I have every episode on DVD and my kids have watched them all and they loved them
im 58 and watched little house as a kid..now all these days later I still watch it everyday..never get tired
Little House on the Prairie ,how wonderful ,I watched on 1975 ,every night at 10 pm ,we have 2 channel at that time, beautiful days
You were lucky you got to stay up that late.
Радваме се ,че живи и здрави с вълнение гледаме филмът пак след толкова години,това е реалноста на животът!Бъдете живи и здрави!БЪЛГАРИЯ!❤❤❤❤❤
Caroline was losing it on that one, she so rarely did
Boy, Sue Anderson looks ELEGANT and still BEAUTIFUL, after all these years.
🔥🔥🔥🌡️🌡️🌡️🌡️🌡️
Melissa Gilbert is my favorite. ❤️
Katherine macgregor who played Mrs. Oleson was my favorite.
Such a great show! I watched several of the reruns today! I DVR them everyday!!!
Wish there were still good wholesome shows like this on TV today.
Bravi a TUTTI mi siete cari .Con affetto Marie Claire Massimo
This was a wonderful series. It had everything a viewer could want: it was wholesome, authentic to its time, it had drama, humor, tragedy, adventure, trials and hardtimes and celebrations and happy times. Michael Landon would be proud of the enduring legacy of this show. I still enjoy the reruns.
This interview was BEAUTIFUL!! And everyone looks great!!!
I"m still in love with Melissa Gilbert. Ever since the first time I saw rhe show.
My heart is melting, when i See them all after all this years together. I got tears in my eyes. The all look great. Matthew Laborteaux looked like 30 years ago. I like him so much. Greetings from Germany.
Love love love this TV show..Warm memories watching them all...
Yeah she doesn't even look like she's 50, not at all.
Actually if you think about it none of the girls look as old as are suppose to be. Matthew and Dean are really the only 2 who look their age or at least fairly close. Meaning the girls all probably look younger due to their makeup or plastic surgery.
DeEtta Leatonn g
peck
DeEtta Leaton 50 seems a lot older than it actually is, especially the younger you are! I turn 50 mid-November, & pple. still think I’m in my late 30’s/early 40’s. I’ll take that any day! I grew up watching LHOTP on a regular basis, then watched the reruns. Still do when I catch them! Right along with The Walton’s and MASH, my favorite shows! I knew them practically by heart! More so after watching the episodes so many times!
The good Ol days. It's amazing that there isn't programs like this anymore. I'm sure glad I grew up in the 70s and 80s.
They all look great Melissa sue has grown into a gorgeous woman
She was always gorgeous
I live in Germany, after the early death of my parents I grew up with my grandmother. I have 4 siblings who grew up with other family members. In Germany, the series always ran on Sunday afternoons. We children always watched the series together. I get very sentimental when I think about it. It's really amazing how many people this series has reached around the world. Here in Germany the series is called „Unsere kleine Farm“ 👏👏👏🥰
Omg I grew up watching everyday so much in love with them
I'm watching this show now 2020. Two episodes every day after work. Love it. Omg Karen is still gorgeous.
I love the fact that Michael Landon set the end of the work day so they all could be home for dinner. Too bad that doesn’t happen anymore in that industry. 😢
True dat
Yes, today especially TV show industry catching the target, sometime they work 24 hour full
In Argentina, my country, we know the show as "La familia Ingalls" (The Ingalls Family), we are watching the show now through a cable channel. I still enjoy it after so many years!!!
still watching in 2020 n still loves to see those the family
I've been a die hard fan of little house and watch it every time it airs and thank God it's usually on every week day 3 episodes a day
This is gonna be soo deep I’m only commenting in the hopes they see and know this shows impact still today and how it helped me for years now.
Jim Ewen 1+
Jim Ewen i agree
Yes for sure on all that you said.
Grew up watching in the 80's and now It's 2021 and my teenagers have grown to love the show too. We watch it all the time!
I love that show I watch it every day that it is on
I never get tired of looking at Little House on the Prairie. I love going to visit Walnut Grove & seeing them. It's so simple & innocent. I need the DVD's or BlueRays.
Wow, Matthew Labyorteaux is hot!!! Who knew he would grow up to be such a handsome guy!
I knew, because he was an adorable kid.
Anyone remembers a 80's show called "Wiz kids"? He played a computer nerd.
major crush as a kid
He's always been handsome. I had the hugest crush on him in the 80s, and have to say I might have a re-crush on him now ;) He really hasn't changed much at all.
Yes! He's really handsome! 😍😍😍Kisses from Italy!!!
I'm only 14 and I'm addicted to this show and is by far my favorite tv series.
Hi 👋 how are you doing?
