Driven 247 I was quoted £55 for the software tune I’m so so tempted to get it done where he took his. In 2 minds really.
Rui Abreu we got the red one done for £300, so map where he takes the ecu apart and does it, rolling road and pops and bangs, I'll be taking mine there too.
Driven 247 I guess that’s just another option if anyone just wants the pops and bangs without performance gains. They told me that no physical modifications are needed if I want the pops and bangs only.

Vl38ihi won't get anywhere near the levels of power the garrett 1442 does,you'll be looking around 180 to 190 sort of region.
Garrett around 225 maybe 230,you need to make sure the intake in scuttle panel is angled enough so you don't get water ingress when raining
stephen fletcher it’s been remapped and went from 160hp to 180 so same as a standard comp so I’m happy with that! Thanks for watching and your comment, check out some of my recent videos too!

You need to get the the forge actuator valve, it makes a huge difference I think. I’ve recently put one on mine

JackFPS the pop map? I think so, I don’t have that, didn’t work for mine.
Great video! Not sure about the sound / noise though, it surely seems fun at the beginning, but it could get annoying if present at all times.

There are no words how thankful I am for your video :) Just one more question, please... I hope you read this comment also now in 2020 and I receive an honest and calming reply: does that alu funnel/cone which has been inserted in the plastic scuttle has any danger on what goes in with the air? Sorry if I am not clear, but one of my friend here in Budapest, who has built now over the years a 300BHP Abarth 595 told me that this is not safe and leafs, dirt, dust, water anything can go in and the induction kit sucks in.
I do not agree with him, because as far as I can see it has been fully covered by another original plastic part over the scuttle where the wipes are sitting. Did you experience any cons/disadvantage when lets say a big thunder/rain came over or do you have to clean it more often?
I have a Magnetti Marelli Bombardone 2.0 exhaust at the back and also a BMC pop-off valve which also makes that swoosh sound :))) Do you think that the sound of the induction kit will sound over them? Okay when you push the gas pedal it sucks the air and afterwards when you lift off your leg comes the swoosh from the pop-off, but I am crazy about my Bombardone exhaust and still want to enjoy.
I would be really happy if you could convince me and tell me the facts that I can keep calm and relax :) nothing bad will get sucked into the big carbon box.

As far as I’m aware it’s all good, I mean it’s still covered by the skuttle panel as the whole is underneath it, so the air has to go through the skuttle first, my Dad fitted this kit, he’s more mechanically minded than I am so hope I’ve answered this ok? Also I have a the dump valve too, but this induction kit alone sounds amazing! Thanks for your kind comment and check out some of my other videos, thanks x

Hey, I collect my Abarth on Thursday and I can't wait. Thinking of getting one of these. Could you notice much of a difference performance wise - rather than just the noise and dumps? Would really appreciate your thoughts
Sam K car feels more responsive and when it went it for it’s remap, it helps for sure, not much of an increase of power just from the induction kit, but yes does help and sound septic obviously too!

Hello Amber, nice mod. However, how do you get on with the insurance, regarding mods? I contacted mine to enquire about fitting the forge intake and stainless steel back box, and was horrified to hear they would nearly double my premium!!😞
Just had to change mine to somewhere else as my current insurance didn’t want to insure it anymore lol.

Is you're electric exhaust valve opend constantly? At 16.10min it sounds like it's keeping opened while acceleration... Shouldn't it close after rolling? Sounds really good however!
Jason A one the newer models like mine the sport mode open and closes the valves, I always have mine in sport so mine are always opened however since fitting the kit I have noticed more like pops coming from the exhaust probably because now it's got the kit on it must be running a little richer.
@@Driven247 also got the new Record Monza Exhaust system with chrome end pipes... Closes after rolling and opens at 60kmh in sport mode, or under heavy load...the old RM worked only by pressure. This behavior is new to all 2019 RM Exhausts. You're lucky that it sounds that great all the time in sport mode... Nice!

You will only get a maximum of 200bhp from the ihi turbo.

Mines a full stage 2 apart from fmic and currently at 195hp and 350nm. Much faster than stock and still plenty tunability
no....IHI max 180hp /Garrett = max 220hp,More Power on the IHI,you will damage the turbocharger
