    I received my Aventure 2 weeks ago and I love the big-azz beast but i also bought the Sinch.2 and got it ready yesterday (until it started raining!) so I'm taking my new toy out today. Thanks for the vid!

    Nice review of the bike. Been looking at this for a min and still gathering my opinion of Foldables, but this seems like the one that fit me the most!

      Hey Steve! Yeah we were pretty fond of it! What are the other bikes you're pitting it up against?

      @@electrifiedreviews the original Sinch and the Rad foldable. Foldable is something that really appeals to me and fits well my my vehicle. Weight is second factor, but can't seem to get to light for durability factors.

    Unlike most folding e-bikes the Sinch is UL certified, which for me is a big deal as I live in a Condo.

    I'm loving all the upgrades on the .2 except u guessed it those mechanical disc brakes I'm scratching my head here with that decision due to the fact that the other .2 bikes got hydraulic brakes cool bike great review as always. I'm hoping u get the new fat tire rift from ride 1 up to review.

    • @electrifiedreviews

      Yeah, we would love to see Hydraulic brakes here. They're just better, and not that much more expensive to get at the factory/wholesale level. And I don't want to give too much away Cory, but if you're online this afternoon, your hopes may come to fruition! ;)

    Almost bought one, but wanted hydraulic brakes (mainly because you don’t have to squeeze the levers as hard), a 750W motor and one piece aluminum rims instead of spokes, and that would have done it for me.

  • @patriotone755

    Rode one yesterday at my dealer. It’s a toy, not for me. Bought the Pace 500.3 as I prefer a full size bike.

  • @TommoC123

    I was looking forward to hearing 750w motor or higher 😢

    • @KcarlMarXs
      @KcarlMarXs ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most people don't need that, even with steep hills. The 500W is the floor rating, not peak. Rad for example is 750 peak, who knows the floor

    • @dnoco

    Can you have hydraulic brake lines on a folding bike? What is the risk of crimping or pinching the brake line?

    • @electrifiedreviews
      @electrifiedreviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd never thought of it that way before... but yes, you can. I've definitely ridden on folders with hydraulic brakes, most recently the HeyBike Tyson.

    if you wrote how tall Mitch is it would help us imagine the size of the bike. or use a lifesize cutout of a famous guy and write the height of it next to it. (metric as well)

    How hunched over on the bike? I want to be upright. Thought on if a short female with short inseam that would rather not walk forward to get off the bike? The townie go would allow that but no torque, which is a deal breaker. 🤷🏼‍♀️

    Can the app still be unlocked to increase the speed of this bike like the previous sinch?
    Or has that option been removed with the sinch 2?

    • @electrifiedreviews
      @electrifiedreviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's an excellent question. I didn't get into the app on the latest reviews we did on the Aventon line, so I didn't get to mess around with the settings and stuff there. It doesn't seem to be prominent in their marketing either. Maybe someone who has tried it can chime in below!

    • @jamesbonham5383
      @jamesbonham5383 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, using the Aventon phone app it can be unlocked to 25 mls on pedal assist but throttle still limited to 20.

    • @electrifiedreviews

      Lots of good choices out there. We're partial to ABUS, but honestly there's tons of cool companies in the lock space doing great things!

    • @footballstud48
      @footballstud48 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is frustrating for sure, I’ve heard the Sinch st can unlock class 3/28mph but the Sinch 2 is locked into class 2/20mph. Is this disappointingly true?

    • @steverimel1445
      @steverimel1445 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@footballstud48 Been trying to see if anybody has unlocked Sinch.2, but i'm guessing it depends on the display and App. Probably still a little new for anybody to be hacking this one yet. I'd say give it time!

    • @Kaeden_Hahn
      @Kaeden_Hahn ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@steverimel1445 I have the sinch 2. It’s locked at 20mph. You could maybe find a way to jailbreak it. Honestly 20mph is fast enough for me, I can pedal it and hit 25mph if I wanted to using the gears.
