@@carriewhiteduck1478 LOL... I watch her videos on my phone WHILE I'm in the kitchen cooking. She has inspired me to have "cooking days" where I just cook and cook a bunch of meals to have on hand and it's really decreased our "I'm too tired to make dinner, let's just get fast food" days. We rarely eat out anymore and I'm such a better cook than fast food anyways, we're loving it! :)
I really enjoyed these “what we eat in a week” videos, especially during pantry challenge. It’s refreshing to see you put meals together on the fly and it gives us lots of ideas on how to do that with the foods we have. Also just your raw honesty, it shows us real cooking, not all the staged stuff. We really appreciate you putting these videos together to share with us, we know it’s not easy and takes a lot of time & energy. We 💜 you Becky!
@@juliabrown5948 my husband is not picky, I just have to pry out of him whether the food is good or not. Really irritating to me that he can't just say, hey honey dinner was great.
Hey Becky give this suggestion to your Momma. Your comment about her cornbread made me think of this. 😉. Years ago my Mom made me & my sisters cookbooks with her recipes as a Christmas gift. Mom hand wrote the recipes for each of us. My Mom is now 79 years old. That is something special we will all have & can pass down to our children. Was one of the best gifts ever. Not only having her recipes but seeing her beautiful handwriting. She has since had a stroke & lost that ability. ♥️
slow cook pork ribs in a little salted water, when almost cooked, chuck in potatoes, pumpkin, carrots, cabbage. once cooked chuck in some dumplings (self raising flour, salt, mixed to a dough), once dumplings are cooked you have a good old fashioned kiwi boil up😉👍🏼 although we would use cress instead of cabbage or maybe puha mmm
Yes!! Please continue the, What We Eat In A Week, videos!! 👏 I absolutely love those videos, as I do all your vids, but I also get great recipe ideas for myself! Congratulations on completing the Pantry Challenge!! Great job!! 👍🍲🌷
Please keep doing 'what we eat in a week'! I'm a mid twenties living alone and its so inspiring for meal prep and using what I have in my kitchen! It's also inspired me to get more involved in what I eat and using everything I have :)
I have really enjoyed your “What we eat in a week” videos and would love to continue to see those. They offer a ton of great meal ideas and the inspiration to eat fresh. Your energy and spirit is amazing! Already waiting on the next video! 😊
I kid you not, I was on my phone just now looking on your channel to see if you uploaded today, and I was disappointed that you didn't. Lo and behold, a minute later, here you are! I'm so glad you uploaded, you always make my day
Becky you are a study in perseverance with grace! your upbeat charm is a joy and your energy is unsurpassed! in a word...incandescent! thank you for your time and all your hard work and most of all your willingness to share it with us. I cheered with you in your successes; finding mushrooms, beautiful homemade sausage rolls, the glorious transformation of your front yard and on and on. I cried with you when Gizmo got sick then passed and worried with you when your chickens got hot in record heat, my heart sank with you when an iffy egg went into molasses cookie batter and on and on. you have a beautiful family and a blessed life and girl, you deserve it! *HUGS!*
I always love the surprised look on your face when you taste your food. I also love how excited and passionate you are about gardening and food preservation. You've made your channel not only educational but entertaining and fun. I always look forward to your videos.
Please continue sharing "What we eat in a week" 😁 Love watching your videos and you totally inspire me to get cooking and to use what I have in my freezer and pantry before heading to the grocery store! Which I should be doing anyway! I've learned lots of tips, hints, and pointers, and have been wanting to try to make your homemade vanilla extract and sour cream, among other things. It looks so easy, and the pure vanilla is extremely expensive in the stores. With the cost of everything going up, up, up, it's necessary to find ways of using up we have and to make things from scratch which are usually a heck of a lot cheaper!! Thanks for all you do to bring us these videos. We really appreciate it!
I did the pantry challenge once. While it saved a lot of money, to replace what we used actually cost us double (not everything was on sale). I like watching other people do it and it is good way to clean out things and use up the items that people don't really love.
Me too! I usually do a pantry challenge beginning of my harvest to use up anything in the freezer ( room for fresh ) my potatoe bin is almost gone anyways, canned goods are LOW and one can never have too many herbs ♥️ Am doing WAY extra rosemary this year ... put a little olive oil in your pot, sauté desired amount of rosemary THEN put back your mash potatoes - mix well and ENJOY. Oh MAN it’s my new fav way for potatoes now. My son was up to stay for abit and he made supper and did the potatoes as above and 😊👍😌 WOW just WOW!
I did not do the pantry challenge, but watching these videos have helped me pay more attention to what’s in my fridge & freezer that needs to be used up. 😊 I’ve been making frozen green beans like you for a while now and love them so much. 😀 I sometimes will sauté them in bacon grease too. 😋
I just wanted to let you know that I have thoroughly enjoyed your “what we eat in a week” videos! Please continue! I love you and your channel, Becky! You’re amazing!
What I love about seeing these pantry challenge videos is the substitutions and creativity! It’s motivating to see that yes, we CAN make it work with what we have!
I would love to see more What We Eat in a Week videos. Your videos have become a way of visually meal prepping which is sometimes more helpful than just reading a recipe and deciding if it sounds good lol don't feel obligated to do it every week! You deserve time for yourself too 🙂
I think maybe once a month you could do what we eat and cook in a week! You are doing so much and I worry that you will burn out ! I love all your content and I don’t want you to stop , so pace yourself !
I just want to say a simple "thank you" for doing the pantry challenge. I learned so much and you inspired me in my little downsize to apply some of what I learned. I foraged my small chest freezer for a month, as well as rotated my pantry as well to use various things. I hope you continue at least weekly to do this type of video. You are a wonderful teacher!
I wanted to piggyback on what River Ramblings and so many others have said in so many different ways. You are so very good at what you do, Becky, and and have a real passion for it. You are a wonderful teacher. I say that in all candor and with the experience of 23 years of teaching high school students and 11 years of training and evaluating teachers at the state level. You are a WONDERFUL teacher. You are great at what you do; you explain what you're doing and why; you are authentic in your successes and boo-boos - and show how to make the boo-boos work anyway; and most of all, your sense of caring leaps through the screen and touches each person who watches. We feel it. It's genuine. I will say to take time for just you. Teaching, in whatever form it takes, is very hard work and is both emotionally and physically exhausting. While we all would love to see every moment of every day-- because you're just *that* engaging - we all also want you to enjoy your life with your friends and your family. Take time for you. We're here. Doubt we'll be going away any time soon :)
I am pretty new here and cannot stop watching your videos! The content is so inspiring and I absolutely love that you include us all by saying that we did it together. And the chats are like visiting w a friend, which I appreciate so much! I am going through chemo right now and don't get out much so it really is a gift to get to hang out with you in your kitchen. Thank you so much for all you do and spending time with us!
One of my favorite things about you is that you never give in to the temptation to quit. It doesn’t matter if it was an ingredient mishap with a recipe, a broken dish, a spilled mess or a garden oops! You share the struggle, smile and try again. I like to hope I’m a fairly positive person but there are times when the weight of reality can be heavy and it’s fair to say that I’m also tempted to just close the door and say, “I’m done”. But then, here comes one of your videos full of smiles and a positive attitude and a ‘I will not give up attitude’. I watch and find myself saying, let’s do this! This is not to say that you don’t have the, ‘I’m done’ days too but for the most part you keep it real and I am so grateful for that! Thank you for sharing, you are inspiring to so many of us and it’s a pleasure sharing this journey with you. God Bless You!
Love seeing you cook any meal. Reminds me of my mom who I lost a few years ago. Seeing you garden reminds me of my grandfather who was a farmer and taught me how to as well. I can’t garden so seeing you have fun really takes me back and gives me hope I can return to it again.
I love seeing what you eat in a week. Figuring out what to cook is always a challenge and you give me great new recipes and remind me of recipes I haven’t done in awhile. 😊
Yes please keep filming what you eat in a week. You have inspired me to become more creative in the kitchen. Thank You for all you do and congrats on finishing the challenge.
I think this is probably something I should try to do, especially with the cost of food going up. I have a pretty stocked pantry/freezers, but get in a rut making the same meals over and over again. I find your videos to be fun to watch and give me ideas. I think my husband just rolls his eyes when he sees me watching cause it usually means I come up with another idea! Thanks for making your videos and can't wait to see your grocery haul after 2 months of no grocery shopping!
Wow 🤩 you totally blew that challenge out of the water and don’t you just love finding a new way to cook something that you totally love. So much fun .
I’d love it if you continued to share what you eat in a week. I’ve enjoyed watching you participate the pantry challenge just as I enjoy watching your other videos. I’ve been going through a challenging phase of my life right now and your cheery greeting of “hello friends”, the way you talk to us, and your general content has been a balm to my soul. Thank you.
When I make cornbread I let it sit on the counter for a minimum of 30 minutes before I bake it. This allows the cornmeal to soak up the liquids. The result is a softer, less crumbly texture and so delicious When cutting small things in half such as tomatoes or grapes place the grapes/tomatoes on a small plate or plastic lid. Cover the grapes/tomatoes with another same sized plate or lid upside down on top. Then pressing down lightly and run a knife in the small space between the plates. The the grapes/tomatoes will all be cut in half with just one cut.
Also, spraying your dishes over the sink? What a great idea! Becky's mom, you're brilliant! If you're ever out of butter again, I HIGHLY recommend lard for your cornbread grease. Bonus points if you cook it in cast iron. That's how we do it in the South!
My daughter (4) and I LOVE these videos! They really give me good ideas to use what's in the house and be creative, rather than relying on specific recipes. I'm also doing a version of a pantry challenge during March, because of you and Jessica!
Thanks a lot, Becky! We tried the pantry challenge for the whole of February... we kinda did it... with a few minor mishaps but we got right back on track! We saved some money! So maybe, it's something we can do for the rest of the year but with some new rules... We're working on those still! :D Greetings from Argentina!
Becky about 7 years ago aluminum foil was discovered that when heated up and touches food is extremely dangerous to our bodies. I cover a casserole as long as it doesn't touch the food. When aluminum gets hot and touches food it releases aluminum into your food. You can Google the dangers of aluminum. I love you so much and watch all of your videos. I grew up using foil. I don't want you to harm your body. You are too precious!
I love to see the meals videos. You and Three Rivers Homestead have inspired me to use what I have to make meals and have less waste. You did a great job!
I loved these videos. I did the pantry challenge along with you and you were so inspiring and motivating. I too was DYING for some fresh veggies. First thing I made was a salad. I used the money I saved from grocery shopping to top off my pantry and freezers where I was running out. It was great and helped me see what I needed to add more of and what I had plenty. I think I will do that challenge every January and February. I would love to see you continue showing your dinners but don’t overwork. Remember how busy you are going to be in the garden. I’m looking forward to the garden videos this summer. ❤️
I've had an absolute blast with these videos! I'd be so happy, if you keep them up. It's nice to see some different things that can give me ideas for my meals. Thank you for that so much!
Also, I just showed my husband the Finex Cast Iron cast iron skillet for my anniversary present…he took the hint! And he grinned from ear-to-ear because he knows it means good things for him to eat!
Well done! Congratulations on finishing the pantry challenge. I wouldn’t have lasted lol. I love everything you post and watching you cook and experiment makes my day ❤️🤗
It has been so fun to watch you through this pantry challenge. My son and I always watch your channel and we have really enjoyed seeing all of the things you have made. He is younger and he couldn't believe that you could go so long without going grocery shopping. We don't have the space for extra freezers or a garden but once we do, we want to get on your level! We live in Portland area so its nice to see someone in the area with a huge garden. Its truly inspiring!
We are getting ready to make a big move to Oklahoma. I’ve been doing my own pantry challenge to get through our dry food storage and freezer. Thanks for inspiring me to make my move easier!
I really hope you keep doing videos, meals, gardening, freezers. I can no longer imagine my week without knowing about your week. I learn from you, get inspired from you, laugh with you, cringe with you, all the things. I hope you keep posting your genuine self frequently 💜
I really enjoyed this pantry challenge. I know how you felt that one week, I’ve been there! You were so strong! Great job and I learned a lot watching you
Still binging your episodes. I watch a few every night. I'm down to year old episodes now. I am so enjoying your videos. My son, who is disabled, sits with me in the evenings and we watch 'Becky'. Thank you so much
I love the cooking videos I would be so happy to see more! I was getting sad that it was coming to an end but I know you will be glad to have some fresh produce!
You did a great job and made some amazing meals! I always love watching you cook! I grew black beans as well, and just love them! you have to grow way more than you think too. You are a wonderful cook! Thanks for the enjoyment!
I really like the what I eat in a week videos! Especially cause you’re so realistic about it. Would love it to be something that continues on your channel when you feel like filming.
Awesome! We just got our wood stove I can’t wait to install it. I’ve had one ever since I can remember, until we moved. It’s saved my life many times. In a few snowstorms where we went without power it cooked some really flavorful meals for me and my family. Memories made on the wood stove are almost better than the regular stove. 😊 🪵 🔥
Picked up a covered cast iron casserole and a flat grill, this winter I had to bake bread and a whole chicken on the wood stove during a power outage. It was fun!
Absolutely love the Cast Iron pan the Josh gave you for Christmas, here in BC Canada on Amazon it’s $540 . It’s beautiful, I have many cast iron skillets, I have a Wagner that is over 100 yrs old , a circular skillet with the round cut outs that I make Norwegian pancakes and serve with lingonberry jam . I have several email cast Dutch ovens and just pasted on some to our daughter .
Here in southern La. we always cook our cornbread in a cast iron skillet & we use bacon drippings, hog lard or crisco for the oil. It depends on what area in the south that you are from that determines that or your preference. In the green beans we add bacon drippings, onions & garlic with some of Tony Chachere's cajun seasoning. ** I sent you a package on March 2nd from La.. *** 🙋♀️💜
This is the Southern way and the way my mama taught me to do it in the panhandle of Florida! We either made it the way you listed or the sweet way with a can of creamed corned and served it it with butter. Either way with the bacon drippings!
Mmmm, oh my gosh that sounds so good! Everything tastes better cooked in bacon grease. It just never occurred to me to make cornbread with it. Now I gotta try it! (from a Michigander who now lives in the Pacific Northwest)
I NEVER thought about making broth from the rib bones. I had 4 racks in my freezer for years from my dtr's college graduation party. I cooked them up and my son took them to his motorcycle club. They were beef ribs but again, never thought to include those in broth. Congrats on completing the challenge. I didn't do it, but I made it a point to shop my pantry and my freezer and get rid of things. Made sure I was more aware of what I had. I will watch whatever you want to film. Love your videos. Happy Birthday Josh!!! Blessings
Love that you can be real and acknowledge that you have tough days. We all have them and it's just life. It's nice seeing someone be real instead of just pretending everything is always perfect because it's not realistic.
Becky, I am a newer subscriber and I am HOOKED on your videos! I love watching your what I eat in a week videos and this pantry challenge has been my favorite series I've watched on TH-cam in a while! You gave me so many ideas on using what I have and wasting less in my own kitchen. I have always been one that goes out and buys every little needed ingredient for my recipes--even if it's an ingredient I know I won't use up after the recipe--and watching you has made me realize that I don't need to do that! I can just use what I have! Thank you for sharing this with us ❤
You did a great job and you should know that you have my mom hooked on your videos! She is a veteran home cook and shares your love for cooks illustrated! Kindred spirits!
Wow, another great pantry challenge week! I really appreciated you sharing how challenged you were by not having fresh produce to eat and that you still hung in there didn't give up on your pantry challenge commitment. After all, you've done such an amazing job putting up so much food that it hasn't really been too too much of a challenge thus far for you. But this was your first really low motivation/discouraging moment and you met that challenge and stuck it out. Very impressed! Love it when you "shop your own freezer and/or pantry!" One great thing about the Pacific Northwest is that you can grow starts starting in mid-July (cold hearty crops) to put into the garden the end of August/early September when you're clearing out your beds from the summer harvest. Your garden then ends up being just as lush and full of produce in September as it was in June! By the time the days get too short for any real growth of your plants they're so lush and mature that even though they'll stop growing very much at all, there's so much there that you can then just harvest from them all winter! When it starts getting really cold and rainy I just put up my PVC hoops and put the greenhouse plastic over the rows and leave both ends cracked open a bit to allow for some air circulation and they do just fine because everything I plant for the winter garden can even handle a bit of freezing yet be crisp and perfect to eat after being given a chance to thaw out and recover (see Elliot Coleman's "Winter Harvest Handbook" & "Four Season Harvest", or Scott & Helen Nearing's chapter (Elliot's mentors) on cold weather gardening for more on this). They actually learned how to eat fresh produce out of their gardens year round up in Maine with this process (albeit with a couple of layers of protection vrs just one), so it's a snap here in our area! It's sooo rewarding to be able to get fresh salads, and get kale, chard, cabbage, etc. right out of the garden all winter long here. You make up for less variety in your beds this time of year by supplementing with all your canned and frozen stuff, so you have a wide variety of fresh and put up produce year round. It's entirely possible to not have to buy any produce from the store here. Anyway, maybe you'll give it a try this year. Here are Charles Dowding's overwintered veggies. His climate over in England is quite similar to ours here! th-cam.com/video/QsOM9KJGHTw/w-d-xo.html One more aside... When you were talking about your hot sauce you said everything in it was home grown except the vinegar. And I got to thinking about how MANY apples you got last year. Almost too many to process! And was thinking, "Hey. You know, Becky's got the resources to be able to make her own AC vinegar if she wants to as well." So I just wanted to put a bug in your ear about that. It's one of my goals to make our own vinegar when our apple trees really start producing, so I thought you might think that would be a cool challenge too! I've seen videos online where people even made their vinegar with the cut off apple "waste" (skins, cores, etc. called "apple scrap vinegar"), from apples they were processing into other products (apple sauce, pies, dried apples, apple butter. etc). Here's a link about making "apple scrap vinegar" as well as 'real' ACV: www.theprairiehomestead.com/2015/02/how-to-make-apple-cider-vinegar.html Love your enthusiastic, upbeat energy and perseverance. Thanks so much for sharing!
Where would I find all your delicious recipes. Sorry if I missed where you said they’d be. Your amazing! So knowledgeable you are. Always teaching us, whether we’ll use all your tricks and methods or not. It’s all so fun watching and learning. And I’m 73 and enjoy all of your adventures. ☘️🍀🤓
Hey PSA. As a mostly vegetarian who cooks with a lot of dried beans - if your beans are decently fresh don’t soak them. Your beans are just absorbing plain water instead of the amazing flavour and it really doesn’t speed up the time that much. I never knew how much I LOVED beans until I cooked fresh beans without soaking in adequately salted flavourful liquid - so flavourful and creamy.
I wasn’t loyal to the pantry challenge, since we didn’t have a garden this year BUT I did a LOT of pantry shopping, much to my husband’s delight. He got a ton of homemade goodies and his stomach was really happy. Also, I stretched my skill set by trying to make new things recipes that I had never attempted such as tortillas and developing my own recipes, like raspberry lemonade bars.
Yes, please. I loved watching what you eat in a week. Shopping your pantry, fridge, freezer, etc. It was great watching your inspiration in your creations. But you don't have to do every week, just pick a week here and there - certainly don't want you to get burnt out. :)
I knew you could do it I was helping you out your new on some of your recipes I follow with you and you're at my house too but I didn't put a lot of hot stuff in it I really enjoy it thank you for so much lighting us into your home
It’s when times are tough that you know which cloth you were cut from! Becky you are a true winner… You will take lemons and make crème brûlée. You’ll finish strong!
Great job on the pantry challenge. Coffee was necessary. No judgment. I am watching the rest of your meals and I am really impressed with your adaptability! The milk situation was crazy, but you worked through it.
Yes, yes! Please continue with sharing what your meals are. But ONLY when you have time and it works for YOU. You are such an inspiration, your self-challenge in the final week is so expected. Similar to an athlete when presented with the final laps, the final round and so forth; that is when your mental stamina needs to nudge on the physical work. YOU did it! Congrats! I found myself being challenged right along with you as much as I could. I fill my pantry from the store, but I did weed out the shelf sitters in my pantry and used them up. I think you have done a great job with this challenge and I have thoroughly enjoyed your sharing with us. 🙂
My reciepe simple! 1 and half cups corn meal, half cup flour add milk till you get the thickness or thiness you like mix together, preheat oven 400 and put some oil in the bottom of your cast iron skillet and let it stay in there while your oven preheats to 400 degrees 32 or 35 mins if not brown on top at the end of 35 mins then broil to the desired color you like it never fails and yummy!
That Dutch Baby is basically what we in Finland call pancake. Sometimes we put meat like ham or sheredded chicken and veggies in the batter, sometimes apple, raisins and cinnamon and sometimes it's a way to use leftover porridge from breakfast. I do love it with just jam and either whipped cream or vanilla yoghurt.
Please carry on doing the what you eat for dinner videos. You keep it so real. We all have days when we are too tired to cook what we planned and it’s great to see your alternatives that’s take less work 👍
I don't grow veggies but when green beans are at a good price ($.99/lb) I buy 5 -10 lbs and bag/freeze. I make with just S&P, fresh garlic, olive oil. Saute to slight blister, serve while still slightly crunchy. Yummie. The black beans looked great too! Good carrot & leek haul, great job. Best wishes from Miami.
Your "what we eat in a week" videos are awesome! Please keep them going if you can find the time and energy to do so 🙂 You encouraged me to use those hidden food items lurking in the back of my cupboards and freezer, so thank you for that! Congrats on making it through your pantry challenge!
Enjoyed the week of meals. Pantry challenge was fun. Did it for January and spent 15.00 on coffee cream/milk , spring onions, a tomato, .bag of salad and a pound of ground chicken. Definitely will do again next January. One thing that helps me, I don't worry about having to have a whole protein, starch and veggie meal EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. t's okay if one dinner is egg/tuna salad, chips and pickles. Live to cook another day.
three rivers homestead was ready to give up before 8 weeks!.. so i commend your dedication! but this also brings to mind variables to the challenge.. planning ahead seems to be a huge factor. i read in many comments that viewers were not prepared for such a challenge. others would NOT participate due to stock accessability vulnerability. i can see both sides. what was inspiring was those that dug deep into their freezers and pantries to make meals at home!! SO MUCH POSITIVE! ### i commend your support system thru all of this!#### thank you for bringing us viewers along on your journey... and what a journey it it!! so much can be said about your integrity and determination! i think you are inspiring and intelligent. thoughtful and guided... much more... but above all i think you are SO COOL!! 😁😍

slow cook pork ribs in a little salted water, when almost cooked, chuck in potatoes, pumpkin, carrots, cabbage. once cooked chuck in some dumplings (self raising flour, salt, mixed to a dough), once dumplings are cooked you have a good old fashioned kiwi boil up😉👍🏼 although we would use cress instead of cabbage or maybe puha mmm

I have not participated in the challenge but it’s been fun watching you run around your kitchen and I’ve picked up tips. That’s why I love TH-cam!
Would love you to continue the weekly cooking . Really enjoyed watching you pantry challenge
I did not do the pantry challenge, but watching these videos have helped me pay more attention to what’s in my fridge & freezer that needs to be used up. 😊 I’ve been making frozen green beans like you for a while now and love them so much. 😀 I sometimes will sauté them in bacon grease too. 😋
You know how everyone binge watches on Netflix? That's what it's come down to with your videos!!! Becky, your the best!!❤️❤️❤️
You deserve time for yourself too 🙂
I have never heard of a Dutch baby before. Great job Becky. You are amazing 👏 ❤
I love your cooking videos. Your "what we eat in a week" videos are amazing. They inspire me! Please keep going. I need the inspiration 😉
I've loved seeing all your meals, would love for you to do weekly videos showing what you are eating after the challenge!! ❤❤
Cornbread is cooked in a cast iron pan here in the South. Love watching you cook, you give me so much inspiration!
I definitely enjoy the meals videos! They give me a lot of inspiration.
That was hysterical when you were pouring the water thinking it was milk! Omg you made my day!!
Love seeing you cook any meal. Reminds me of my mom who I lost a few years ago. Seeing you garden reminds me of my grandfather who was a farmer and taught me how to as well. I can’t garden so seeing you have fun really takes me back and gives me hope I can return to it again.
definitely enjoy your weekly vids on what you eat in a week. I'm looking forward to next grocery haul as well! (just a little humor)
Thank you.
I know I always feel good after watching Becky's videos 😊🧡😊
When I make cornbread I let it sit on the counter for a minimum of 30 minutes before I bake it. This allows the cornmeal to soak up the liquids. The result is a softer, less crumbly texture and so delicious
When cutting small things in half such as tomatoes or grapes place the grapes/tomatoes on a small plate or plastic lid. Cover the grapes/tomatoes with another same sized plate or lid upside down on top. Then pressing down lightly and run a knife in the small space between the plates. The the grapes/tomatoes will all be cut in half with just one cut.
God bless you Becky, I’m glad that the cherry tomatoes made you feel better about the pantry challenge, you are developing survival skills ❤️
Love it!! 😊💛😊
Actually you're right, it's certainly been a challenge I think everyone should do.
We love watching you! You are a bright light in this world during these times!
I love this series, if thats not too much for you please keep filming your weekly menu :)
YES YES YES please keep sharing! Thank you for all you have shared with us and Congratulations I knew you was going to do well in this!
Good luck with your move!!!
@@jennbasil thank you!
Great job and I learned a lot watching you
Yes! Definitely enjoyed these week long video of meals! You do an excellent job!
I have really enjoyed these meals of the week. I’d love for you to keep it up. It gives me some motivation. I’ve been in kind of a rut lately
My favorite channel I have found in years. I’m slowly working through your older videos. Thanks for all the ideas Becky!!
Loved this so much. Thanks for always sharing such great content.
I really enjoyed this series. :)
Yes please continue, I really like these vids, the ideas you’ve given me have been amazing 💗
I had to google Norwegian pancakes now, because I am Norwegian, and just realized that they must be different from pancakes in America 😄
Congratulations Becky! You made it through the pantry challenge. I've enjoyed hanging with you and watching what you cook for dinner. Please continue.
That’s the southern way my great grandmother from Oklahoma used to do it ! I use a recipe for
A 1945 cookbook for my cornbread ! The best!
Yes so good I still make like my grandmother totally Southern I'm from Tennessee.
Grew up in the South. Yes!!!! That's how we did it.
Blessings
Hey you. Yes you, random person that I will never meet. I truly hope that you will find happiness in life. Today is going to be a great day! ❤,,
I have really enjoyed the "what we eat in a week" and would love to keep seeing them on your channel even though the challenge ended!
Love that you can be real and acknowledge that you have tough days. We all have them and it's just life. It's nice seeing someone be real instead of just pretending everything is always perfect because it's not realistic.
My favorite videos that you do are 1. Prepping your freezer meals/dinners and 2. Cooking those meals 🙂 Any cooking that you do are so much fun ☺
His climate over in England is quite similar to ours here! th-cam.com/video/QsOM9KJGHTw/w-d-xo.html
One more aside... I've seen videos online where people even made their vinegar with the cut off apple "waste" (skins, cores, etc. called "apple scrap vinegar"), from apples they were processing into other products (apple sauce, pies, dried apples, apple butter. etc). Here's a link about making "apple scrap vinegar" as well as 'real' ACV: www.theprairiehomestead.com/2015/02/how-to-make-apple-cider-vinegar.html
Love your enthusiastic, upbeat energy and perseverance. Thanks so much for sharing!
Your face every time Josh tries something and he likes it. You just light up from deep inside. ❤️❤️❤️
Yes!! More what you eat in a week! I think we like everything you make.
Pan fried green beans with butter and smoked finishing salt. Hands down the most amazing green beans.
Yes please, your "What we eat in a week" is awesome and entertaining. Thanks so much for sharing this part of your life with us.
I vote yes, continue filmingo "What we eat in a week" videos. Love seeing how you use what you store and grow...
Yes please keep doing these what we eat videos. I learn so much from you. Never heard of a Dutch baby until today!
three rivers homestead was ready to give up before 8 weeks!.. so i commend your dedication!
but this also brings to mind variables to the challenge.. planning ahead seems to be a huge factor. i read in many comments that viewers were not prepared for such a challenge. others would NOT participate due to stock accessability vulnerability. i can see both sides. what was inspiring was those that dug deep into their freezers and pantries to make meals at home!! SO MUCH POSITIVE!
### i commend your support system thru all of this!####
thank you for bringing us viewers along on your journey... and what a journey it it!! so much can be said about your integrity and determination! i think you are inspiring and intelligent. thoughtful and guided... much more... but above all i think you are
SO COOL!! 😁😍
