- With the Switch 2 looming overhead, what could Nintendo do in 2024 to make as much money as possible from their current console before the new one releases?

Played them on wii u. They were awesome with ghe gamepad screen too. First time I beat both of them. It was magical.
Well those 2 are some of the best zeldas for two completely different reasons. When windwaker came out it was met with a lot of criticism from fans due to the art style, but when I played it I thought it was amazing. Twilight princess has a dark feel to it, the complete opposite of windwaker but it was amazing as well.

A "Switch Mini" makes no sense at all. I genuinely don't understand why y'all believe there will be one. It's just a stupid idea.
Nintendo releases new hardware revisions of their successful consoles around when the next system comes out. Plus, it would allow them to cheapen the Switch even more. If it made no sense, they wouldn’t have done it with the GBA, DS, 3DS, or Wii.
I'm expecting it to be later even, but that's just me, I guess we will find out at some point, I'm happy to see a youtuber who isn't convinced that it's coming out this year, so sick of switch 2 leaks rumors etc. Nintendo will announce something when they are good and ready. It may not even be a switch 2, but a completely new project.

You gotta make a lot of assumptions to believe in that scenario. And even then, this would be a very weak year in paper
You have to make a lot of assumptions to predict anything happening next year other than the 5 games that are confirmed.
@@Caleb_Bravo99 You based yourself on "well, this may happen, it happened before" or "it's been a while since the last time this studio put out a game". This isn't the same as solid rumors and things said by partner companies.

i think switch 2 will launch early fall with 3d mario and metroid prime 4 will come out late into the year
I agree with you: as Nintendo haven't even revealed the Switch 2 as of yet, it's highly unlikely that it'll release in 2024 - at the best, it will come late 2024.
A new Wario Land game would be nice... and a potential new Mario Sluggers...
I think the Switch should last another 3 years, the reason is simple the user base is gigantic, there are a lot of people still buying the console and the games. if they make a Switch 2 with more graphics etc... they should opt for another form of media other than the cartridge, and if they change the cartridge slot a lot of people will get angry, and the fact that they are re-releasing games shows that they want to maintain this media format, if we analyze the history of portables, we had the gameboy, gb pocket, gb light, gbcolor, in the advanced era, there was the advanced, sp, micro, in the ds there was the ds fat, ds lite, dsi, dsi xl, in the 3ds there was a 3ds fat, 3ds xl, 2ds, new 3dsxl, new 2 dsxl, with the oled switch it was still the 3rd edition of the switch. we can expect a Switch... There will be remakes of Luigi Mansion, if you take a good look at a new console now, even though it's already 7 years old, it's bullshit, because Nintendo was never about graphics, they tried that on the Wii U and failed, they have the biggest IPs in games.
The Wii U was a generation behind in terms of power. And the Switch is still selling, though less year over year. So in order to maintain growth, they need to launch a new console at some point. 3 years from now is pretty late for that.

I think most of it will happen. I do not think the Switch mini will happen. I think odyssey 2 will come out with switch 2.
They probably want a brand new game instead for a brand new console(it is not gonna be a exact copy of a switch but better, something is gonna change), I believe odyssey have a chance for dlc though like BCP

The switch 2 is a bad idea in my opinion, I want a stronger system and im tired of nintendo being behind. the handheld mode gets old and i would rather just buy a console and handheld
Honestly despite how absurd this sounds, I'm okay with waiting for another year. I mean I waited this long, I can wait a little bit longer, plus there is and will be a lot of games to pass the time.
