This was a cool list! I agree with you about your comparison of Forest Shuffle to Earth. What I appreciate about Forest Shuffle is it gives you more player interaction. I'm interested in that Friedemann Friese game. My favorite game by him is Fast Sloths.
Thanks for this list! I felt the same about Earth when I recently played it. I have Forest Shuffle but it’s still in the shrink wrap. I guess I need to get that out and play it now! I love Horrified, especially solo. I have the classic monsters version. And I picked up the Unmatched coop version. Had never played Unmatched so there was a bit of a learning curve with that one. Have only played against Mothman. Need to try to defeat the Martian! Great list! Appreciate your insights and excitement for these games. Happy New Year!
I haven't experienced that yet, but because of the openness of the game and possible combos, I'm sure some has cracked something. However, with the card draws still being randomish, I am letting my hand drive my plays.

I played a little talked about tile Laying game called Rauha...it was so fun that it wiggles it's way into my top 20

I cannot support the money grab that is Farshore. Especially since it's so expensive.
farshore is everdale simplified? how much simpler can it get?
Glad to hear Horrified Greeks Monsters is good, I just received it. I haven't played the others, but I liked the Greek Myth theme of this iteration.
