@neilmaclarty8572 Good for you, getting after it on that treadmill💪 Thanks for joining me on this trip and watching. You will be back on the water casting a line out before ya know it, I'm sure.😁 Take care ✌️
I am happy to see you catching fish on the kicker crab here on the East Coast. I see/hear people being successful out west. I invested a bunch of money in the lures and terminal tackle and never caught a thing, in the lagoon or south. I must be my presentation.
@njsurfrider ya, it can be difficult at times, especially this time of year..🥶..when cold.... the inshore fish usually group up... so finding a spot that the fish are holding is probably the biggest factor, at least for me. The saying is....90% of the fish are in 10% of the water. So if there are no nibbles or strikes... keep exploring.😁 Definitely slow down the presentation, and smaller profile baits seem to do better when the fish are cold. That's one reason I like using the kicker crabz with the Texas eye jig. Allows for great movement even when worked slow....or like today just drifting in the wind 😆. Best advice... just keep casting. It was just under 2 years ago... most of my trips were skunks. Tight lines 😎🤙
@ThumprFishing only good thing on those days is blue bird skies means you can sight fish all day without worrying about cloud cover blinding your vision
@SuperXdaveX oh I'm sure you will eventually run into me 😁.....was even thinking about maybe doing a fishing meet-up at some point this year... Was going to chat with a couple of other youtube channels and see if they would be interested. Baiscly a fishing content creator meet and greet/fishing trip 😆 Tight lines tell I run into you 😎🤙
@SRH420ful thanks. Ya, I need to get me some new waders. A lifetime guarantee sounds really nice. The ones I have have a hole somewhere....they are also for the Pacific Northwest and are super thick. But I have actually seen guys wade out around this spot and do pretty well
@SRH420ful thanks, The channel is growing.😁 Was looking at some stats on the channel last night. I do believe it said you are the top commenter's. So thank you for all the support 🙏
Thumpr, I walked out with you on my treadmill and thanks for the reports till I can go for real.

@ thank a for the detail.
Windy cold days with blue bird skies are always tough. I always preferred to fish before those cold front days where its overcast windy and cold
@yakrat-adventures you're 100% correct... they can be tough.
Ya, I generally have better luck before a front as well.
@ThumprFishing only good thing on those days is blue bird skies means you can sight fish all day without worrying about cloud cover blinding your vision
@yakrat-adventures so true
Love the content thumper! Hopefully one day I'll run into you somewhere

@ThumprFishing that sounds like an awesome idea! Tight lines indeed my fellow fishermen!
I paid 99 bucks for lifetime guarantee waders they are made for a spot like that and gratz on your subs moving along nicely

@JeromyNall lol ya, I just saw some monster sized ones on an airboat the other day 🤯
@ seen many monsters down gator branch road and over pine island in Merritt island
