Love these interviews. I remember thinking when I moved from up North to the South I'd reinvent myself. No such luck. My drinking got even worse. Almost 3 years now with no alcohol and life is better than I ever imagined.

AA wasn't for me. I got sober in Refuge Recovery. Six years sober in November 🎉

Thank you, so appreciate this conversation and yes there is a huge lack of education and support for the families and partners, we get caught in the void too, recovery is for everyone involved 🙏

Fantastic to hear your honesty Mark. I can relate to most of what you’re saying. Taking one day at a time is a good way to help overcome the booze bug and other areas of stress and anxiety in one’s life. Just deal with the next 24 hours and also have an eye on the future with a long term goal is a good philosophy. Stay well 👍

The spirit of rejection is real remember the first spirit of murder was rejection ended up with cain murdering able. Im glad that you’ve invested in Jesus and say it without hesitation.

Hey have you ever had your heart pounding and hands cramp right up and body tighten up like I seriously thought I was going to die then I dumped water on my head on the way to the hospital and I some what calmed down it shouldn't be withdrawal being that I've been cutting back but I binged yesterday and drink early today

Yeah if your central nervous system is wacked out from booze enough symptoms similar to a panic attack or an actual full blown panic attack are common. Sounds like what you had. Might wanna consider quitting but any move in that direction even cutting back is wise. Good luck brother.

Wonder why every woman treated on you. What’s the common denominator there?

James has some amazing livestreams lately, these 2 channels are so cool, many more out there, YT is cfree/cheap enuff to get the word out,
ex addicts know more than Dr.s,
& not many Psychiatrists I think ever sample the stuff that they prescribe to patients many times per day.

03:31 this here is the problem with all of you "recovery" channel guys. You think just because you can't handle liquor and drugs everyone else can't too.
