By far the best yet. What an incredible story. No ego, no big look at me, just the realities and an incredible victory over addiction. Funny guy too. Amen.
Thanks James, I've been in recovery for a few years but not pulling my weight of late and stopped working the steps so of course the old behavours have creeped back into my life again and today in particular i've been up all night stinking thinking. So to get a notification this morning with this podcast has been the kick up the arse I needed, defo going to seek out a meeting today, it's been too long. Thanks again to you both for the inspiration to get the ball rolling . Love & Respect G
Great stuff brother, I,m constantly battling alcohol and prescription drugs . Im currently 4 months sober now.1 day at a time.Without a doubt watching your good self, Shaun and TG has helped me through some tough ,lonely hours in early recovery.im not good on social media but felt you should know that your work is making a difference and giving hope to people who are rapidly losing perspective on their lives. So massive thanks my friend.whatever youre doing for you is working, looking great brother.
Im 50 years old now nd had issues for most of my life. Iv got all the tools to combat or overcome my addictions, however those tools are no good to me if the toolbox is properly padlocked {denial} nd cant get into it.It has to come from within to unlock my tools and access them.your podcasts help me realise that im not alone. Thanks again brother, your work has enabled me to focus each day,1 at a time
Can't believe I'm watching this interview,,, Tony was absolutely an inspiration in my own recovery, what the black lady was to him in that meeting was what Tony was to me,, when he told his story,it's been twelve years, one day at a time,in recovery for me, so I would just like to thank him so very much,if you could pass my thanks on to Tony I would appreciate it and be forever grateful
Hello from cali🇺🇸 much love, love your channel. Great interview with Tony, happy for him that he's healthy now. Its a miracle he's alive!👍🥰Its a miracle many of us are alive. Having been sober (free of my suicidal lifestyle) for almost 13 yrs myself, its good to hear from others who have been there and got out.
I can’t believe what Fat Tony has been through 😢 I love his sets, super pleased he found the strength to keep going, being an amazing DJ and so kind to help others ❤
These Guests / Interviews just keep getting better and better, these podcasts will hopefully help millions of people eventually. Even if a million views just changes 1 person its worth it. Keep up the amazing work James.
Really enjoyed this podcast. I have been clean 3 yrs, omg there was so many things I related too..... This gave me such a positive vibe and moved me up anthor notch in my recovery... Massive thankyou.... Fantastic podcast xx 💖💯❤️
Incredible life story, some people seem pre destined in life to lead a drug & alcohol journey. Then bounce back again and help so many people on similar paths. Hope Tony can continue & inspire many other souls. Amazing story & life.
Can understand when he said about meth mouth ,from the crystal, having been there n done that myself, got 4 years clean best thing I ever did really enjoyed his story, another good one James.
Top shelf podcast again James. The saying 'I didn't want to die, but didn't know how to live' hits home on this one again. Hope your well brother. Stay safe 🤙🙏🤙
Alot of what Tony and yourself have said has hit home and rung true so much so that I have made the efforts to seek help. Thank you for your amazing podcasts.
James bhoy what a podcast mate I bet 90 % of the population cld relate to at least of one of Tony's stories weather it be personally a family member or friends. I love hearing these stories about mental health because I am always learing weather it be for myself or try help someone else people like Tony are inspirational because they are real God bless
I saw the mix mag documentary first and liked him, so I watched this. It's not part of my world. I wasn't born when he was growing up 😂 so learning about London is interesting, what a life he looks so at peace with himself, what I like about Tony is that he never blames anyone for his addiction. It sounds like he beat himself up for being successful at Djing when he kinda fell into it and not working for it. Course he deserves it through if people didn't like him they wouldn't book him. He has a air of " yes it was my fault but I dealt with it ". His dad will be so proud of him. He's just got engaged too. Congratulations ❤
i was around in these days and ive come through it too i was 1 of the drug dealers 4 many places tony worked at now clean since 2005 of the hard stuff so well done brother tony and nice interview again james
@@naomiday2919 thanks yea I have lived a very colourful life I've never been caught selling drugs but I've done 15 years in jail and it was the faith that help me 2
Tony is someone I’ve known for over 18 years first meet him in Soho he is such a nice down to earth guy. Funny how life moves on cause I am not on any social media hate it for everything it all stands for. Funny up London’s west end we had a nice conversation about fashion & music 🎼 I use to go to Tony’s birthday 🎉 I’ve worked with so many famous people and trust me they are all lonely cause it’s not normal. Tony’s honest I’ve had same addiction’s. The future looks much better
So interesting, but wasn't he so so lucky he had people who actually helped him out in the most dire of times. A lot of those junkies around just dont get that chance. Such a great story teller.
@@COYBIG1967 I was referring to junkies to pin point who I was actually referring to. A junkie is just another name for a drug addict. It is not a derogatory term. We are all humans.
James have you considered making a 'Clips' channel? Love watching the full podcasts just slightly inconvenient having to try and skim through all the videos to find them
I know everyone rates joe rogan as the best for podcasts but for me you are definitely right up there. Always great guests with class storys. Can’t wait for the bellew one next.
As always, top notch interview James, with a top notch honest interviewee 😉Tony. Definitely made me made open my mouth about my personal struggles, I'll take a lot from this an hopefully do alot about it too.. God bless 👍👍👍

This is absolutely fascinating! My God. I'm in awe. I had to edit my comment. I started watching you a year or so back (barely able to understand you or your guests) and I am so fortunate. You and the people you interview are *hugely inspiring* and a cache of real, truly genuine knowledge and wisdom. Thank you for freely sharing so much of what you've learned and motivating me. When you spoke about rewiring neural pathways, that hit deep. I really hope I can learn more for the sake of my future. *THANK YOU* from the bottom of my heart. 🖤🖤🖤 Also, the suit looks great! 👌
@@patsyballantyne9886 Ha ha! It took a few times of slowing down the videos and turning on closed captioning. Lol! I still find myself looking up obscure words like "girn". 😄 It's totally worth it, though.
