Love these types of educational videos. As a woman travelling alone - learning from you and the gear you use has been helpful in making decisions for my setup.
So glad you enjoyed the video. Have a wonderful weekend.
For a future gear review it would be interesting to see a walk around of your film production equipment and to hear a discussion about your production strategies.
Good idea 👍🏻
Very nice video. 😊
Thank you! 😃
Really appreciated your last video more like it would be welcome. We travel in our Ford 350 Northern Lite so very interested in your new rig. Always enjoy all your videos.
I always loved that Alubox mounted on the back of I think it’s the trailer and you mounted your Partner stove in it. Thought that was so clever. Love every vid you publish. Thanks! Sending light and love! Peace ☮️
Excellent video and appreciate all the info about the gear you carry.
I would love to see some kitchen cleanup gear and how you do the dishes.
Thanks will address that on an upcoming video 👍🏻
I'm curious what you guys use to keep yourself protected in case of aggressive animals or aggressive people on your widespread travel? I'd imagine you've had more than a few surprising interactions over the years.
Yes, this is something we can address on a future video. Thank you.
Great gear! REI is my favorite place to shop 😉
Great informational video! There were a couple of products you showed that I’m going to look into. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
I camp in the area where you are frequently. As odd as it may sound, last year I added a small sturdy rake to my supplies. Its only about 10 inches wide with a short handle so it takes up no space. After I set up camp I rake the area to remove the thorns, pinecones, etc and just kind of neaten things up. Then I use it when I leave. It has made a huge difference. One spot where I always camp has lots of pinecones which are covered in sap and are quite messy as the sap gets on shoes, etc. With the rake I can just get them out of the way or make a nice pile to burn. I dont know why I didnt get one sooner. Best 5 dollars Ive spent.
Great idea, thanks for the tip
You probably should do 2 videos a week, one like this one and the normal Sunday. You’ve been stuck at 258k subs for a while ( I see you got a few new subs to kick it up to 259k👍). Might want to remind people to subscribe and share etc , y’all really deserve and should be at 1 million + subs . I would maybe try to get affiliates for the stuff y’all use and like ( any extra money is welcomed, if you feel bad about that just donate a percentage to the church or charity!).
Great suggestions. Yes we’re thinking of adding a second video per week 👍🏻
Love to see our Kitchen kit in your setup! Glad it’s working for you! 🔥 Great Video!
Awesome! Yes we love it 👍🏻
Thank you so much for informations!
Expand your land adventures by adding sea and air. Team up with some sailors and paramotor pilots. Would be some epic adventures.
Great idea.
Thank you, very useful info in the video. Great.
Glad it was helpful!
Very good basic information.
Glad it was helpful!
@@EFRT Can you show a little more about how you film/video your trips (camera placement and drone shots) I've seen TrailRecon show us some of how he records his trips.
@lesfillin good idea. Yes 👍🏻
Very informative video.
LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome video, great job, showing and explaining a lot.
Glad you liked it!
well done thanks awesome video as always
Glad you enjoyed it
Fantastic video. Thankyou
Glad you enjoyed it
This is great! Still watching 😊
Thanks
Always enjoy seeing gear being used and listening you your thoughts on its effectiveness. Safe travels !
Glad you enjoyed the video. Have a wonderful day.
Beautiful vlogs ❤
HEY! Good morning and thumbs UP!!
I like your vidio's wery mutch and I want moor of this
Great
How do you keep the Jerry can filter from freezing? I also read you have to keep water in it even when you’re not using it.
Yes, we have to bring it into a warm area if it gets really cold outside. You need to keep 2 inches of water in it for storage so that the Filter never dries out completely.
More videos because it’s very informative. Also please add on your videos the name of the companies where you purchased all of your items. Thank you
Ok will do
I'd like to hear about some of the trail systems you use. I want to start traveling by truck around Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. My truck will be capable, but not a rock crawler. I'm interested in off highway trails like I saw you on in Oregon. Great video today. Thanks!
Sounds good!
I have 2 off the GCI "rocking" chairs and love them.
Great video
Great information, useful for all overlanding folks....what about personal safety ??
Thanks. Yes, we can discuss that on another episode.
Do you have a jeep build video?
Love to hear more about GMRS and ham communications. Thanks for sharing! 😊
More to come!
Awesome video as always EFRT. Thanks for letting us ride along with y'all these years y'all's videos are always full of helpful tips and tricks keep up the great work.
Thank you. So glad you are enjoying the videos. Have a wonderful day!
Informative
Great info, we back country paddle and camp
Thanks. Keep on adventuring!
Love these walk-arounds. Over the last few years, we have followed your lead on many Overlanding products, and they have all worked well for us. Thank you and looking forward to more unbiased and experience-based gear reviews. 👍
Glad you like them! Have a wonderful Sunday!
Thank you for doing this video. Details on the Thunderbox use and the showers is helpful.
Awesome. Glad you found it informative. Have a wonderful day.
Shorter videos idea that we would love: Cooking videos, they dont need to be a cooking class, just show us the ingredients and your process.
Great idea!!
Really enjoy hearing about all the gear you have used and know that it works for you. Thank you for this!
My pleasure!
In many of your episodes the cooking is done with cast iron cookware. At home I also cook with cast iron. Would like to know how you pack them when you are overlanding. One maybe a second brand has an oval cast iron plate with a wood tray. Sounds like that is a nice way to keep the food warm/hot while you are eating, any thoughts on that? Thanks for sharing.
Thanks. That’s a great idea, we will the address this in for the info videos.
Hi 👋🏼 guys! Really enjoy your videos, and fun to ride on the bikes with the boys as well! This was very informative, and Would enjoy more like this. Something that I’ve been too embarrassed to ask before, but notice that you always pull your vehicles up on big rocks when you make camp... I just wonder why....
Thank you! Enjoy the road! Thanks for sharing with us!
Thank you. So glad you enjoyed the video. That’s a great question. We use the rocks to level the vehicle in places where there’s no level ground. 👍🏻
Thank you! Great idea!@@EFRT
Great video! do you have an equipment/ mechanical checklist on Excel or an APP or something that you go through and check off for each expedition?
Great question. We used to but these days because we change up vehicles and people so often we have to custom pack for each adventure.
Amazing super love it
keep safe everyone
GOD bless🙏❤️
Thank you
Hola, que bien la verdad un video muy interesante y muy educativo, muchas gracias por compartir tus conocimientos y experiencias un fuerte abrazo y mucho cariño para ud y su amada familia
Thank you so much. We are so glad you found the video informative. Have a wonderful day.
Kia Ora famz, thank you so much for sharing everything that you use and just everything in general❤, take care and stay safe❤❤
Thank you! You too!
Pete, Great Video! I like the rockers and we’ve gone through a few. When we first started they would stay in the back of the Gladiator full time. Last summer we switched to the Dometic chairs. If you ever get a chance I’d try them out, we also do our best to keep them out of the rain and elements and take them inside when not out exploring. The full length shovel is definitely the way to go if there’s room. Might have to go for a mattock or pickaxe ⛏️ in the future! Thanks -Jon
Thanks for the tip on the chairs. Will have to check that out. Have a wonderful day.
Love seeing your family adventures. What size is your Alubox? I have a few but love your larger size and was curious.
Our larger Aluboxes are the 60L 👍🏻Have a wonderful weekend.
I enjoy all your content! I'm wanting to do this also but not sure how much the costs is. Could you break down your weekly expenses?
Yes, we can try and cover this topic in an upcoming video. Have a wonderful day.
I love your gear videos! It's neat to see how your gear has evolved over the years.
Great content and very useful information. Allowing us to avoid the trial and error stage. Thanks!
Love the side shower/bathroom awning. Would love to add one to our rig
Re: trash in bag on tire - how do you keep trash bear proof? Thanks
We just try not to put anything in there that would be too odorous. 👍🏻
GCI outdoor is a great quality brand. My family has been using the chairs for as long as I can remember
Would like to more on your SAT coms. I have the goleo, how does that compare to the Garmin? Specifically for navigation or using maps in general as a back up, for instance in an area without cell, and have to relocate but don’t download maps, what do you do.
Thanks. My wife and I enjoy your journey.
Thank you. Yes, that’s a great topic. 👍🏻
love it
Where would other countries get some of the gear from. We would be interested in this NZ
Most of it is available online through Amazon, but may be expensive shipping to NZ.
Are you able to show a little more detail on how you use your Zoleo, for instance when traveling, do you have emergency contacts set up, do you have follow me messaging, and how does that work, and how to set up. What do others see when receiving those updates. Do you download offline maps through the Zoleo app, and are you able to use them for navigation or only for updates to follow me? I have the Zoleo and getting ready to head to Alaska, so hearing from a user on these things would be great. Thank you.
Osam man Osam ❤
what is the rear awning system.. I've been looking for something like that
It’s the Eezi-Awn 1000 from equipt1.com 👍🏻
thank you@@EFRT
Rear awning?

❤❤❤
Any issues with wildlife being attracted to the trash bag on your spare? Really appreciate this type of content, great work.
We haven’t had any issues so far. We can talk more about this in another video. Have a wonderful day.
Just a note the Eureka brand will been discontinued by Johnson Outdoors after 2024.
Thanks for the info. Didn’t know that. They seem to be pretty good quality.
That’s too bad! We have had our 4 person Eureka tent for 23 years and have their blue dining (walled/screened) tent as well! Nothing holds up to Van Isle wind like that one!
Will Johnson Outdoors help us maintain our awesome Eureka products?
Condensation ... a topic
Got it.
Nice recap of the equipment you use. Would like a more in-depth overview on why you chose one model/brand over another without degrading the model/brands you chose not to use. Example, we chose this because of its ease of cleaning, or we chose this heater because its reliability and ease of maintenance, or it was between this model and another and it came down to simply the one we liked best, etc. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks. Will cover the upcoming videos. Have a wonderful day.
👍
😂😂 I fell asleep half way through this video get back on the road ❤
New adventure tomorrow
👍👍👍👍👍
👍👍👍👍
