Among the competition EVA does have a quality meal service but they have cut back . Regardless of meal time always used to have some fresh fruit . This plane also initially had a 3/3/3 seating with 33” pitch . Those days are LONG gone.
I do prefer their 3-3-3 but seems like no more for London flights 😓 Well, I'm looking for an air ticket for my trip in July next year but it's pretty expensive now. Will wait and see later 😅
Great vid, but I think the time for landing is wrong on it, EVA BR068 usually lands in Bangkok around 3:30 to 3:45 pm (15:30 - 15:45) in the afternoon, not 21:20, I guess you meant the departure time from LHR. One way of finding out if your flight from UK is going to be on time is to check the time that EVA Air BR067 arrives at LHR, as that makes the outward BR068, so very often if BR067 is late in, BR068 is late out. There are snacks available at the rear of the aircraft all during the flight. I like EVA, it is a shame that they are 3-4-3 in Economy, it used to be 3-3-3. A lot of good information in the Video, thanks :) Do you still have to wear a mask on board the aircraft?.

EVA Air is merely okay. Personally I wouldn't go out of my way to fly with them again. Once only and that was enough. Ues, direct flight is hood, but everything else was substandard.

Window seat on emergency exit might be an ideal if the flight is full. I flew in September long time ago. Quite a few seats at the rear cabin were available so I moved to an empty row for my comfort 😁
I fly Eva from SFO or LAX to Bangkok three times a year and only fly only in economy class. Of course I book an exit row window seat right behind the premium economy section I pay a bit more but its still cheaper than premium economy and I have a lot of leg room for my 6'2" frame. IMO EVA are the best Airline and I have been flying with them since 2001.
EVA are clearly the best airline for Premium Economy to BKK direct from Europe. Much better than BA ( when they return ) and Lufthansa. However for Economy there is a better option : Thai. On the fundamentals of hard product, Thai have a clear advantage in that they did not densify their 777s. EVA are ten abreast, Thai are 9. Thai also run some A350s from certain airports but the comfort there is quite decent on that aircraft anyway. But the more commonly used 777 has this big difference to bear in mind. 10 v's 9. A valid alternative in Economy is to break your journey via the middle east, particularly by choosing Emirates flights that are both A380 involved. They enjoy good spaciousness compared to other aircraft types, particularly their 10 abreast 777 and tight 787. There is a risk of aircraft substitution of course. In PE there is less point in splitting your journey, as in that cabin things are far more comfortable anyway and you can maybe withstand the eleven hours. Better to get it over with in one go and the best for that is EVA by a good way. In case you're wondering, Thai don't do PE. When BA return to LHR-BKK I hope that forces down prices in PE. They have been crazy recently and EVA tends not to be cheap anyway.

It's about 135£ for seat 45 ABC, HJK and 60 ABC, HJK with extra legrooms on emergency exit row but row 45 is quieter because galley and lavatories are right next to row 60 😊
