With its witty humor, pop culture references, charming characters, and unique RPG battling system, it makes for a fun experience. Its NES prequel, Earthbound Beginnings, wouldn’t see an official Western release until almost 30 years after its Japanese release, and before then it too achieved cult status. Nope, Giygas is amoral and doesn't know what he's doing, Porky is fully aware of his actions as has no redeeming qualities.

The reason why Porky was a bad guy in the first place is because Guigue/Giygas coruppted him , so Porky was just a mindcontroled tool for chaos and destruction .
I think Paula should be near the top one reason for this is she’s technically the one who defeated Giygas

How was Porky anywhere NEAR as bad as Giygas? In Mother 3, he acted out of self-loathing and remorse of his past. Porky had like no lessons on goodness or loving cause everyone was mean to him. Giygas at least had a life with a mother.

Not really... Porky is misunderstood, most people don't know that Porky had a horrible life, no friends, horrible parents and even Ness turns his back on him. (Canon Novel) and Giygas had a mom, but ended up being evil and destroying the world. He actually was controlling pokey in Earthbound and forced him to hurt everyone. Porky in Mother 3 just missed Ness and wanted power because that's all he was shown his entire life.

I don't understand some of these comments. Yeah, Porky in Mother 3 is a pretty twisted dude, one of the most evil in the series. But you gotta remember that Giygas is EVIL INCARNATE. It's physically impossible to be more evil than Giygas.

Ganondorf is also Evil Incarnate, though not on the level that Giygas is. While Ganondorf was a Global Threat, Giygas was a Universal Threat.

IMO Andonuts shouldn't be anywhere near the top. Yes he's helpful, but he's also shown to be a really crappy father to Jeff who simply doesn't care about his son's life.
I think Ness is more good than buzz buzz, because he literally defeated his evil side, and even if only counts Earthbound 1 and 2, Dr Andonuts suggested use Boney as a bait to turn off the Ultimate Chimera

How is Giygas worse than Porky? Giygas is a tragic character, has genuine care and respect for his mother, had good intentions, and has moral agency issues. Porky on the other hand is pure evil, he knows full well what he’s doing, and tried to destroy the entire universe. He even got off scot free.
Edit: Never mind, I just found out that you weren’t including his actions in Mother 3. Fair enough but if you took that into account he’d definitely be the most evil.

Even disregarding the events of Mother 3, I'd say Giygas isn't the top evil; it would actually be his kind which are the ones that actually order Giggas as it is an insane level of over-retribution to want to wipe an entire planet just because of the action of one man. Giygas himself was against the invasion and conflicted about it.
As for Earthbound, well by the end, it shows Giygas had gone insane and that Porky was pretty much making it worst by submitting him to the tech so while Giygas was the cause of the events of Earthbound, it wasn't something he was doing out of his own free will : he was just too insane to realize what he was doing due to his overwhelming power affecting people. I would assume that Giygas' own kind had some hand in making him insane in the first place before his powers went out of control.
So really, the true evil here is Giygas' kind and Giygas himself was both a reluctant villain first and later a victim due to them.
You can't beat Giygas in terms of a Ultimate Evil

I'd say Ganondorf and King Boo are on the same level of intelligence with Ganondorf being slightly smarter. Also Mario and Kirby are on the same level of goodness while Samus is much more lethal and willing to kill.

Well, the Pokemon Conquest characters are all based off of real Japanese figures. Trying to put them in simple “good” and “evil” blocks doesn’t seem right. Also, based off of history, it could be that our male main character is Nagamasa Azai, the man who married Oichi in real life.
@@Hadaron Taking that into account is like a list ranking Pikachu as the worst Nintendo character because of what he's based on and not what we see in the game so if Pokemon Conquest Characters Good to Evil list was made it should only count what is in the game itself.
