Cool Fact: Ea's description of the "star that separated heaven and earth" is a direct reference to Nebiru, Marduk's star that acts as the crossing point and gatekeeper between heaven and earth; it's basically the center of the universe in Mesopotamian myth after the whole slaying Tiamat business. Since Ea isn't the Sword of Rupture's true name and just one Gilgamesh gave it, it's quite possible that its true name is Nebiru. Being what Rhongomyniad is to reality and fantasy, but for the world and stars, it's conceptually the most powerful noble phantasm from Earth.

@@guesswho8556 First i’m not the original comment. Two he said “fake strange fake” meaning it doesn’t matter if it was the novel or not. The source is fate strange fake as a whole
@@art7403 my bad. Still, "their clash in strange fake" does mean that. They didn't elaborate that it was a reference to their previous fight which wasn't "in" strange fake
It’s also been stated by Nasu himself and damn near every form of media that EA it is the very pinnacle of Noble Phantasms in not just Gilgamesh’s treasury, but of all of fate. So that in itself should tell just how powerful this damn thing is. Also, if you look at Fate/Extra CCC, you can see that EA can produce 3 Galaxies worth of energy and power to thrust onto the opposition. The moon cell itself saying that no matter who it’s against, it always an instant death attack, kinda like King Hassan’s Noble Phantasm but much more destructive. Although normally, I think it’s almost always getting nerfed because of the fact that the world itself won’t let Gilgamesh use it’s full power, because of the countless measures it has in place should EA even be used, as it’s a anti-world Noble Phantasm, and the world doesn’t like that sort of thing so it just restricts the amount of power Gil can use with EA. Or at least, that’s what I’ve read so yeah, EA is even more powerful than what it’s shown to be.
Not quite it's one of the pinnacles of noble phantasms but there are stronger weapons Longinus' spear is one, Excalibur is one, the moon sword Arcueid uses is one. Strictly speaking as a weapon it's not the strongest in the verse even Fate wise, when Bhrunsted can do what Ea does with minimal effort not to mention what happens when he gets Arcueid's body and succeeds in becoming the true vessel for Gaia. The Vampire Lord isn't someone to scoff at when even in Ancient Mesopotamia probably before Gilgamesh's time the concept of Vampires existed although known in a different term, plus with how Gil Looks it's not a stretch to think that Gil was more likely just a fake made by Whichever god saw Arcueid; afterall it's not a coincidence that Gil has Red eyes and Golden hair if anything the so called Original king of Heros might be nothing more than a cheap copy of Archetype Earth.
@@yamatonoryuujin4871 There has been no statement saying Excalibur is superior to EA, and under normal circumstances Excalibur is considered 3rd rate. It's only when all the seals are removed is Excalibur in the same league as EA. Gilgamesh's blonde hair and red eyes is due to the fact that he's divinity from Mesopotania, it has nothing to do with Archetype Earth. And of course Gilgamesh doesn't stand at the top of the Nasuverse, that honour pretty much belongs to ORT and ORT alone.
@numberhunter62 Ea is superior to Excalibur only by a slight amount (stated in Gil's profile in the Visual Novel) as for if the seals are released on Excalibur it massively outscales Ea as it was able to kill Sefar at its 7th stage with one blow. In the Heaven's Feel II Q&A Nasu states that when Gilgamesh and Salter were alive they had unbelievable firepower and that Gil only has a slight advantage over her in his Clairvoyance meaning that their firepower is equal.

The three stone tablets on the blade each symbolize heaven, earth, and the underworld... As such, it is said to represent the universe and so affects not only the bodies of those it faces, but the entire world itself. *It's the strongest and oldest Noble Phantasm man has ever laid its hands on.* 2n source: FGO materials Enkidu's strength is roughly equal to that of King of Heroes Gilgamesh at his golden age. In Enkidu's fight with Gilgamesh, spoken of in the Epic, Enkidu had demonstrated an ability equal to that and approved by the *sole strongest hero within the human history.* ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now I will explain Nasu's statement that the worshipers of Artoria adhere to, but before that I would like to point out that how funny it is that these worshipers reject statements praising Gilgamesh on the grounds that the FSN is an old timeline, but when it comes to their deity Artoria, they are ready to accept any statement without hesitation. The comparison conducted by Nasu was between Alive Gil and Alive Artoria, not Salter. Okay, so let us begin the explanation now. 1) Regarding firepower: A) It was mentioned in FSN that *ONLY one weapon from GoB,* which is Gram, is equal to the strongest holy sword, i.e. Excalibur, I will put the quote "Der Ring des Nibelungen" , composed later in Middle Ages Germany, is the story of a knight equal to the legend of King Arthur, and the sword Gram changes its name and appears in it as Balmung. As the *"strongest demonic sword"* equaling the *"strongest holy sword",* it even possesses the special characteristic of dragon slayer". B) Ea is “Void power” not “Firepower”. Ea returns everything to nothingness, but firepower is nothing but collateral damage for Ea C) When this statement was mentioned, it only concerned “Ea-law of earth,” while “Ea-law of heavens” was not mentioned until many years of this statement 2) Regarding magical energy: A) It was mentioned that the Holy Grail from FSN, which is just a replica, is worth a trillion magic units, while the Lion King, which is higher than Alive Artoria, the highest feat she had was 3 million magic units. I will quote from the FSN visual novel. "Matou Sakura's stock of magical energy reaches a trillion. As it cannot be used within a lifetime, it can be called an infinite supply." Gilgamesh now possesses the Greater Holy Grail that surpasses Sakura's replica Holy Grail. Not only that, but it was mentioned that Gilgamesh's Great Holy Grail possesses enough energy to recreate the world. I will quote from the seventh singularity. Ushiwakamaru:: “Do you suppose the goddesses are after the Greater Grail to re-create” this world in their own image after B) It is mentioned in fate samurai remnant that Gilgamesh possesses plenty of imitation Holy Grails, I will quote Boss:: The Waxing Moon is an imitation Holy Grail. *I have plenty like it in my treasure house.* C) Gilgamesh possesses authority called “Damkina” which is stated to grant Gil infinite prana, I will quote. Authority of the King’s Law: Damkina "This is the blessing of the sea god. My prana will not run dry." "My stock is unbounded, you see." D) It was mentioned in Fate strange fake that the planet used all its mana to repel the servant Gilgamesh (not the living one), I will quote The planet cried out. All it's mana gathering together in one place...! 3) Regarding Gilgamesh's clairvoyance "Sha Naqba Imuru" When this statement was mentioned, Gilgamesh's clairvoyance at the time was very weak, and it ability was limited to knowing the name of the opponent and the name of his NP, as well as giving Gilgamesh a plan for victory and a vision of the future. This is outdated information because the new sources have expanded the ability of clairvoyance, for example. A) In Fate/kaleid, it was mentioned that Gilgamesh’s clairvoyance is the ability to look at the past, present, and future together (while Solomon is only able to look at the past and present. Merlin is only able to look at the present, meaning that Gilgamesh’s clairvoyance is even stronger than Grand’s), quote Gilgamesh :: "Using my Clairvoyance to see through the past, present and future!" B) Not only that, but Narita mentioned that Gilgamesh is able to see between different timelines, meaning that Gilgamesh from FSN is able to see Tiamat in Babylonia if he wanted to, I will quote "Narita: That's right. One of the most core pieces of information had been about the conditions for becoming a Heroic Spirit. This was revealed in a bonus novel that came with the UBW 1st season BD box. About how Merlin is still alive in the present so he can't become a Heroic Spirit. As Gilgamesh is also a fellow clairvoyance user, I asked about the state of Gilgamesh's memories when he's summoned. The answer I got was that Gilgamesh can see the possibilities of various parallel worlds if he so chooses, but the Throne adjusts the memories and knowledge of the Heroic Spirit according to the world they are summoned in, so he won't be confused by having multiple sets of memories. I was told that even if he did use clairvoyance to see the possibility of a world where he was swallowed by the mud of the grail, Gilgamesh would reject that world line as being nonsense. I heard a bit of the workings of the Greater Grail, what it was based on, and other bits of important background information for Fate, but I believe Nasu will one day write the story of how the Greater Grail was disassembled!" In short, SNI, according to modern information, gives Gilgamesh complete knowledge of the past, present, and future of Artoria/Arthur in all timelines, meaning that Gilgamesh is able to choose a future in which he defeats Artoria/Arthur even without using Ea. 4) Regarding the part in which Nasu referred to who would win if Gil fought with Salter, Nasu said that if Gilgamesh’s master is a first-rate Mage, then Gilgamesh will lose, but if Gilgamesh’s master is “Charm,” then he will win. When he was asked what he meant, he said that Gilgamesh fought using his own power, whether he was a first- or third-rate master, but what is important is that master a personality that arouses Gilgamesh’s interest. In short, if Gilgamesh is serious, he will defeat Salter. (Salter master is Sakura/Holy Grail) Now, to confirm my first point, I will quote a quote from Nasu’s words about Gilgamesh being the strongest character in FSN (i.e., stronger than Salter). "The Archer class Servant of the Fourth Holy Grail War. Though he was summoned by Tohsaka Tokiomi, he ended up deserting his master and re-contracting with Kotomine Kirei. He is the strongest character in both Fate/stay night and Fate/Zero. In the boy-meets-girl story of the original Fate/stay night he was forced to yield to the universal law of “love conquers all,” but in Fate/Zero he's free to show off his overwhelming, cheat-like strength without restraint . He could have ended the war in a single night if he truly desired to do so. But then, careless pride is the king’s prerogative, and getting serious over something as frivolous as a wish-granter would be unbecoming.” Meaning:- Servant Gil > FSN ( including Salter) Now we come to the most important part of point (4), which is what Nasu said in "CM-Salter profile" about Salter being stronger than alive Artoria. Yes, you heard me, Salter was stronger than Artoria when she was alive, quote. "Artoria, now jet-black, could now invoke Excalibur without limit thanks to the enormous energy supply from the blackened Sakura. Thus, she could overwhelm Berserker Heracles even in a direct battle. Now unfettered and in a sense *more powerful than she was in life"* Result: - Servant Gilgamesh > Salter > Alive Artoria

What an amazing video, as a Fate fan and a fan of Gil and Saber I have to say that this video really explains what Ea is to Gil, it isn't just a sword, it isn't about just stubbornness, the sword is indeed like a part of him, that is exactly why he doesn't use it against others, because not everyone is worthy of the benevolence/respect of a king.
Ea is a powerful weapon but what makes it so cool is its lore and thats what makes so many of fates weapons and abilities so fascinating. In any other setting Ea would just be the powerful earth shattering universe bending weapon that the bad guy uses but in fate it has backstory, history, and lore behind it that elevates it to another level. That goes for excalibur to there are so many fictional swords that can shoot lasers or it gets stronger when you fight a certain type of enemy, but fates excalibur is supposed to be THE EXCALIBUR the sword of promised victory created by the planet( or the fairies idk) to destroy evil. At the end of the day noble phantasms are really just an ultimate attack or a named weapon and skills are just another passive ability or buff but the fact that they are all (mostly) based of of the history and connotations behind the idea itself is so cool. love the vid
I swear I remember reading that it opens a hole in time that reaches backwards to the beginning of creation, resulting in a singularity that destroys everything between the two, and basically acts as a universal reset button...
not quite, it's main function is to shave away the texture of the world, essentially allowing for it to function similar to the second magic, if used as intended however Gil only ever uses that ability on purpose once to break out of the mirror world
ea creates rifts in space-time causing the void to reabsorb all of existence. meaning its capable of erasing the entire nasuverse but no being can use it for that.
Ea represents the pen. The pen carved the world through storytelling, separating myths from facts. Gilgamesh found immortality through leaving behind the first epic, and all other heroes are a copy. The pen is mightier then the sword, but nature will always reignSupremeand keep it in check. It sets laws and facts braking your inner reality marble. Ea or the pen knows all wisdom, it just hasn't written it yet. "True wisdom is knowing that you know nothing"-Socrates
In fate in general, Excalibur is the ultimate weapon, it is the literally sword of the planet made to be able to protect the planet from danger. When Sefar literally killed all the god of the planet (including the god EA) excalibur was the weapon able to defeat it
the funniest thing about Ea is that Gil rarely ever uses it as intended, it's not meant to be some all destroying super blast, it's main function is to shave away the texture of the world, allowing it to break through the boundaries between worlds and gain access to other timelines, however there's only really one or two instances where this proper usage is intentionally used by Gil also do note, Zero wasn't written with Nasu's oversight so taking the stuff in it as canon is a bit shaky
Excellent video! As a suggestion for next one, I would like a Fate's Lore about Saber, like the one you did about The Epic of Gilgamesh. As the lore of the Fate version of the Round Table is scattered across different Nasuverse entries
Tokiomi: Use Ea! Gil: Lmao, you want me to use Ea? I've spent two swords already! Meanwhile... Hakuno: *Breathes Gil: Yo watch this mah girl, galaxies go vroom!
Avalon isn't even really a form of "defense" in a literal sense it more of a uhm... how do I explain this?... imagine if you were a ghost right? and someone threw a rock at you. so since you're incorporeal the rock would just go through you and do no damage this is how Avalon works. technically speaking Artoria is still there physically when she gets hit by Enuma Elish but her entire existence is elsewhere(Avalon, the Land of Faries, a completely different dimension) so it doesn't matter if she gets hit by anything really she would survive because no matter how powerful your weapon is, if the thing your hitting with it technically doesn't exist then your weapon would be useless. yes, it's bullsh!t and one of the absolute pinnacle of plot armor but at least it's explained how it works instead of just MCs randomly surviving fatal attacks because friendship and family or whatever
@@SolitaryLarkthe reason she could is because she manged to obtain over 50% of his treasuresly unlocking ea (Just so you know gil once use 90% of his entire treasury to get to the reverse side of the moon which is literally another dimension)
Gil actually kinda implies it during his fight with her, asking Enkidu if he goes easy on her because "she is also him", this is further implied later on when it's shown that the Gilgamesh card will literally take over your body, which is why Angelica had to erase 90% of her own personality to have enough empty space to keep Gil in check
Emiya can trace things that aren't swords. The reason he can't comprehend Ea is because it is a Divine Construct. Emiya has only ever been shown to be capable of tracing Divine Constructs linked to Avalon and Artoria, and even they aren't real projections of the weapons. The Excalibur he traces is merely an image of the real deal, a fake he made to serve the same purpose, it's still nowhere near the real deal, hence why it's name is Excalibur Image where every other weapon Emiya traces is just called the original name, with maybe a number added to it if Emiya modified it somehow.
@@mocha13 you're welcome, I hope that video comes out soon. A lot of people know that Morgan is okay but they don't fully know what feeds Morgan had achieved, like creating a castle wall that can react to people's attacks and repair itself by using trees.
0:30 Thats a misconception. EA cannot have been made before swords were a thing because of two reasons: 1. The weapon EA and all divine constructs are based on Teardrop Photon Ray which is a sword. Secondly, the origin of the sword that Emiya possesses comes from Akasha and the root. Akasha exists completely outside of the Fate timeline, therefore there isn't a point where the concept of swords didn't exist. That part was retconned completely from the original FSN visual novel.
Not precisely. Ea is known as the oldest sword, thus, it is not based on Photon Ray, although the rest of the divine artifacts may be. However, Ea is an exception.
It is literally part of King Arthur's real life legend. His sheath granted him immortality, then it was stolen and he became capable of death, and then he died (who woulda thought). Nasu didn't create it, he just expanded on it's abilities, just like he expanded on Gilgamesh's abilities.
I love fate but I hate all the counter acting points that I always see in comment sections or in canon stories. Ea is the strongest NP is the biggest one in a lot of NP talks but Excalibur at all times (Not talking about holders here) has higher feats than Ea. Not only does those statements about Ea being the most powerful Np get contradicted by how other Np's work. Just taking Excalibur here cause its always compared to it. Excalibur literally is tied to Gaia and Ea does a god damn scratch to Gaia when its used. If someone more powerful than Gil wanted to end the world, wanted to use it Gaia could full stop it by empowering Excalibur to basically an infinite degree to destroy that existence. Outside of those situation, Excalibur's attack power is just tied to the user where as Ea's is not. Not only that, it cant do shit to Avalon soo... Avalon is technically stronger than both of them by default based on how it works yet I believe it gets countered by other NP. FATE HAS ALWAYS BEEN SITUATION BASED. Even when the two NP's are being used against each other, there never used against each other at full strength wielders (Saber is always nerfed while Gil is not) and half of the statements about it are from Nasu who contradicts himself a lot even in his own works when Plot demands it.
lore is everything and feats dont matter in fate. ea is the most powerful np because the weapon itself is capable of erasing the entire nasuverse and recreating it. just because no character ever is capable of using it for that end doesnt mean the np itself is weaker than others. ea is the strongest np by default because it can erase all of existence which nothing else outside the void itself is capable of in fate.
@@anujmane2005 But you said he's 99% carried by Ea, but he hardly ever uses it, using the GoB instead, and that's just because when he fights physically, he absolutely bodies nearly everyone, she he prefers to flex his wealth by being an Archer Servant.
Lore-wise information on Ea hasn’t been updated since Fate Extella where it was stated that Ea was initially a thing which helped Mesopotamian kings and/or gods to “build nation”. Hinting probably that it was something Gil didn’t acquire alongside many other things that caught his attention, but inherited directly from his ancestors. With how things are now, it’s the closest we have to understanding what Ea is. However we know for sure it wouldn’t kill Tiamat, defeat Goetia etc. heck, I doubt it is stronger than Rhongomyniad. Because Rhongo was relevant to the plot, and Ea was not. Also Excalibur really made its comeback with how when all the seals are removed it can defeat Sefar. Ea didn’t help Sumers ward off Sefar, she just spared them for unknown reason (and the word “spare” cannot be used when you’re somehow a threat to the one who spares you).
In FGO, the Law of Creation CE states that Ea is the strongest Noble Phantasm ever possessed by humanity/man, thus making it stronger than Excluber and Rhongomyniad by default. The only Noble Phantasms that you can argue are stronger than Ea are ones never possessed by humanity like Goetia's or ones owned by gods like Machine God Zeus and Arjuna Over Gods (not to be confused with Arjuna Alter whose NP is weakened and has Lamplight of the Soul). Also, Ea could "kill" Tiamat (as shown in the anime) the problem was that due to her nature, Tiamat wouldn't stay "dead" due to lacking the concept of death. Nothing would be able to permanently kill her no matter how powerful it is unless someone grants her the concept of death like King Hassan did. In regards to plot relevance, one key difference between Rhongomyniad and Ea is that Ea is directly tied to Gilgamesh making it likely that no one else can use it while it has been shown that Rhongomyniad can be used by different people. Also, we have no idea what happened to Ea after Gilgamesh died so it might be impossible to find anyway.
@@zacharyt.2694 Gil likely inherited Ea so somebody definitely was able to use it before Gil. Gil isn't capable with magic so bypassing whatever restrictions he could've created should be a piece of cake for nowadays characters. He could've hidden or destroyed it tho maybe. CE text isn't too reliable. Nasu explained what he meant by calling Gil "the strongest" ages ago. The context in which Ea was called the same regarding NPs was always meant to hype Gil, not dive into lore. Tiamat was a hidden last boss as far as the Babylonia Singularity was concerned. Gil's Clairvoyance and treasury were so powerful he literally wasted everything he had to let Uruk survive till Chaldea came while battling not against the Goddesses themselves but their pets, presence and tantrums. Like, it's supposed to impress me that they did way better than any humans in Singularities so far but the true purpose of that being showcased is to answer fans the question about Gil's actual power level. Show them his place. Which is quite high, but also somewhat low compared to what fans expected. Ea just finished her off. Excalibur could do that in the same situation too. Heck, probs even Balmung. Literally the same thing with how weared off disappearing Archer killed Gil in UBW
EA is a weapon unique only to Gilgamesh. It is used by the gods in the beginning of the planet to enact genesis thus it being originally a "nation building np" but the one the gods used is it as a "pure power" but not EA the sword itself as it is literally the crystalization of that very action of building textures in the genesis that manifest EA in the age of the gods as stated in SF and that is why it knows the "truth" of the world in its primordial state. This is a theory of mine but Gilgamesh calling it his alter ego probably have some truth to it as Gilgamesh himself stated in Babylonia that only "The wedge of heaven" could Kingu/Enkidu as he doesn't have EA as he currently is "The wise king of uruk" and EA is the sword that split the heaven and Earth while Gilgamesh as the wedge of heaven is the one who split the gods(heaven) to the earth(humans) and that is why its probably only a unique existence to him as it is him. Now talking about its power we already know that even if he did not go all out EA could easily overpowered Excalibur as seen in their first clash in the fate route and EA at its full power could easily dwarf Excalibur in power as seen in their last battle in fate route but thats before the treasure boost which could boost EA to noticable amount. EA is called the pinnacle of noble phantasm used by servants and NEAR at the TOP among ALL POSSIBLE NP as stated in SF and its also called the strongest and oldest weapon of humanity in a CE of law of creation. Funfact: You know that red circuit that appears before EA is summoned by Gil? It basically represent the HUMAN ORDER itself going back to genesis and the globe that appeared before he pulls out EA is the very image of the primordial Earth. What it basically does is > Find the timeline they are in > Then goes back to genesis
@@Ultimate0Phantasm I admit that what you've written isn't baseless. However, the official phrasing by Nasu which you listed can be interpreted literally as you did or in the context of hyping up Gil back then as well as nowadays. We know for sure Anti-World should practically be understood as "anti-Reality Marble" as the World treats whatever damage Ea might inflict on it like it isn't even a scratch. This way of understanding has been confirmed by the scene in FZ and basically adds to Nasu's explanation of how Gil can just pull the means to fight a certain enemy. It is still the weapon with the most destructive potential in Gil's arsenal but that's all. So while all you've written sounds cool and complicating, it does boil down to destroying Reality Marbles. In the Altera Christmas event we encounter Dumuzid (?) who is basically a more ancient Mesopotamian hero and Uruk's ruler and a son of gods and whatnot than Gil and there were many of those and it is left unclear whether they had Ea like he did while their reign. Unclear because the Mesopotamian lore in that event was teased and never exposed or is just that simple of a deal as it was shown. While Gil was stated to be an attempt on the gods' part to recover their relationship with humans it was never specified in what ways was he so different from the rulers before him. Because without his treasury and this we know for sure too, Gil isn't Gil but a second-rate Servant at best in terms of battle prowess. Ea couldn't solve the problem with three Goddesses alliance let alone Tiamat or Sefar. I like your red circuit moment understanding but it could be more boringly interpreted as an image of Gil's treasury and it's pinnacle. Especially as it is the Ea revelation moment and Ea's construction is stated to represent the world order - humans gods and something else I don't remember anymore but anyway the idea is representing how humans' accomplishments and inventions bow down to the King's power connected to the Heavens...
@@ЦветковВасилий-я9с Gil wanking is quite common so I don't find it suprising that people put him in top ten strongest in the verse when he isn't even top 50 but yeah some statements I said can be misinterpreted by other people. You asked what was different what was different between him and other Mesopotamia rulers? It was outright stated that Gil is created by the planet's will itself and he rejected the planet's counter force voice in CCC. There are many things that makes him different but that is too many so I will just say he is the greatest of them all. To deny Gil of his treasury is to deny Gil's existence as he is literally a collector. I mean yeah Gilgamesh is not strong enough to deal against Tiamat and Sefar but that doesn't mean EA is weak its just Gil is not strong enough as EA scales to its user strength.

Ea & Gil is A thousand times above the unsealed Exclibur & Artoria/Arthur
1st source: FGO-Law of Creation
The most mystifying treasure among the countless relics from the King of Heroes' collection.
The three stone tablets on the blade each symbolize heaven, earth, and the underworld... As such, it is said to represent the universe and so affects not only the bodies of those it faces, but the entire world itself.
*It's the strongest and oldest Noble Phantasm man has ever laid its hands on.*
2n source: FGO materials
Enkidu's strength is roughly equal to that of King of Heroes Gilgamesh at his golden age. In Enkidu's fight with Gilgamesh, spoken of in the Epic, Enkidu had demonstrated an ability equal to that and approved by the *sole strongest hero within the human history.*
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now I will explain Nasu's statement that the worshipers of Artoria adhere to, but before that I would like to point out that how funny it is that these worshipers reject statements praising Gilgamesh on the grounds that the FSN is an old timeline, but when it comes to their deity Artoria, they are ready to accept any statement without hesitation. The comparison conducted by Nasu was between Alive Gil and Alive Artoria, not Salter. Okay, so let us begin the explanation now.
1) Regarding firepower:
A) It was mentioned in FSN that *ONLY one weapon from GoB,* which is Gram, is equal to the strongest holy sword, i.e. Excalibur, I will put the quote
"Der Ring des Nibelungen" , composed later in Middle Ages Germany, is the story of a knight equal to the legend of King Arthur, and the sword Gram changes its name and appears in it as Balmung. As the *"strongest demonic sword"* equaling the *"strongest holy sword",* it even possesses the special characteristic of dragon slayer".
B) Ea is “Void power” not “Firepower”. Ea returns everything to nothingness, but firepower is nothing but collateral damage for Ea
C) When this statement was mentioned, it only concerned “Ea-law of earth,” while “Ea-law of heavens” was not mentioned until many years of this statement
2) Regarding magical energy:
A) It was mentioned that the Holy Grail from FSN, which is just a replica, is worth a trillion magic units, while the Lion King, which is higher than Alive Artoria, the highest feat she had was 3 million magic units. I will quote from the FSN visual novel.
"Matou Sakura's stock of magical energy reaches a trillion. As it cannot be used within a lifetime, it can be called an infinite supply."
Gilgamesh now possesses the Greater Holy Grail that surpasses Sakura's replica Holy Grail. Not only that, but it was mentioned that Gilgamesh's Great Holy Grail possesses enough energy to recreate the world. I will quote from the seventh singularity.
Ushiwakamaru::
“Do you suppose the goddesses are after the Greater Grail to re-create” this world in their own image after
B) It is mentioned in fate samurai remnant that Gilgamesh possesses plenty of imitation Holy Grails, I will quote
Boss::
The Waxing Moon is an imitation Holy Grail. *I have plenty like it in my treasure house.*
C) Gilgamesh possesses authority called “Damkina” which is stated to grant Gil infinite prana, I will quote.
Authority of the King’s Law: Damkina
"This is the blessing of the sea god. My prana will not run dry."
"My stock is unbounded, you see."
D) It was mentioned in Fate strange fake that the planet used all its mana to repel the servant Gilgamesh (not the living one), I will quote
The planet cried out.
All it's mana gathering together in one place...!
3) Regarding Gilgamesh's clairvoyance "Sha Naqba Imuru"
When this statement was mentioned, Gilgamesh's clairvoyance at the time was very weak, and it ability was limited to knowing the name of the opponent and the name of his NP, as well as giving Gilgamesh a plan for victory and a vision of the future. This is outdated information because the new sources have expanded the ability of clairvoyance, for example.
A) In Fate/kaleid, it was mentioned that Gilgamesh’s clairvoyance is the ability to look at the past, present, and future together (while Solomon is only able to look at the past and present. Merlin is only able to look at the present, meaning that Gilgamesh’s clairvoyance is even stronger than Grand’s), quote
Gilgamesh ::
"Using my Clairvoyance to see through the past, present and future!"
B) Not only that, but Narita mentioned that Gilgamesh is able to see between different timelines, meaning that Gilgamesh from FSN is able to see Tiamat in Babylonia if he wanted to, I will quote
"Narita: That's right. I heard a bit of the workings of the Greater Grail, what it was based on, and other bits of important background information for Fate, but I believe Nasu will one day write the story of how the Greater Grail was disassembled!"
In short, SNI, according to modern information, gives Gilgamesh complete knowledge of the past, present, and future of Artoria/Arthur in all timelines, meaning that Gilgamesh is able to choose a future in which he defeats Artoria/Arthur even without using Ea.
(Salter master is Sakura/Holy Grail)
Now, to confirm my first point, I will quote a quote from Nasu’s words about Gilgamesh being the strongest character in FSN (i.e., stronger than Salter).
But then, careless pride is the king’s prerogative, and getting serious over something as frivolous as a wish-granter would be unbecoming.”
Meaning:- Servant Gil > FSN ( including Salter)
Now we come to the most important part of point (4), which is what Nasu said in "CM-Salter profile" about Salter being stronger than alive Artoria.
Now unfettered and in a sense *more powerful than she was in life"*
Result: - Servant Gilgamesh > Salter > Alive Artoria

What an amazing video, as a Fate fan and a fan of Gil and Saber I have to say that this video really explains what Ea is to Gil, it isn't just a sword, it isn't about just stubbornness, the sword is indeed like a part of him, that is exactly why he doesn't use it against others, because not everyone is worthy of the benevolence/respect of a king.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Ea : Supposed to come before the concept of sword
Also Ea : _COUNTER-ROTATING TANDEM DRILL ACTION_
in Gilgamesh vs Enkidu the planet itself is helping Enkidu defend against Ea as it will destroy the world itself.
It won’t destroy the world it just destroys the first layer
I swear I remember reading that it opens a hole in time that reaches backwards to the beginning of creation, resulting in a singularity that destroys everything between the two, and basically acts as a universal reset button...
not quite, it's main function is to shave away the texture of the world, essentially allowing for it to function similar to the second magic, if used as intended
however Gil only ever uses that ability on purpose once to break out of the mirror world

Ea represents the pen. The pen carved the world through storytelling, separating myths from facts. Gilgamesh found immortality through leaving behind the first epic, and all other heroes are a copy. the funniest thing about Ea is that Gil rarely ever uses it as intended, it's not meant to be some all destroying super blast, it's main function is to shave away the texture of the world, allowing it to break through the boundaries between worlds and gain access to other timelines, however there's only really one or two instances where this proper usage is intentionally used by Gil

it more of a uhm... how do I explain this?...
imagine if you were a ghost right? and someone threw a rock at you. so since you're incorporeal the rock would just go through you and do no damage
this is how Avalon works. technically speaking Artoria is still there physically when she gets hit by Enuma Elish but her entire existence is elsewhere(Avalon, the Land of Faries, a completely different dimension) so it doesn't matter if she gets hit by anything really she would survive because no matter how powerful your weapon is, if the thing your hitting with it technically doesn't exist then your weapon would be useless.
yes, it's bullsh!t and one of the absolute pinnacle of plot armor but at least it's explained how it works instead of just MCs randomly surviving fatal attacks because friendship and family or whatever

Interestingly, Ea isn't a sword. It looks like one but it isn't. Its one reason why Emiya cannot trace it.
Ea is more like a key to unmaking reality.

5:24 wait who is superior saber i cant find data on them?!
0:30 Thats a misconception. EA cannot have been made before swords were a thing because of two reasons:
It's a lance
Avalon was just a bs created for Artoria not being so useless

What it basically does is
> Find the timeline they are in
> Then goes back to genesis

Gil wanking is quite common so I don't find it suprising that people put him in top ten strongest in the verse when he isn't even top 50 but yeah some statements I said can be misinterpreted by other people.
What I've written is not to make EA sounds cool but to make you know of its Origin. It isn't something that is passed down but literally outright stated to be a unique existence that is only for Gil.
The red circuit literally looked like the human order and the fact that after its disappear it spawn a globe which is basically the worlds primordial form. @kilianteni7884 That just means that Ea could do the same. Word of God states Ea > Excalibur, so that's how it is until the story explicitly states otherwise because so far, nothing contradicts it.
@@zacharyt.2694 Excalibur 7 seals + is literally always as strong as it needs to be so Excalibur has a higher potential than Ea
@@zacharyt.2694Word of the God also states that without Excalibur, everyone's dead. Without Excalibur, Sefar is free to roam the Planet, destroying and killing all life on the planet with no weapon that could've stopped it. Even the so called Mighty Ea
4:33 thats not fully correct
due to how rho aias works it would stop any projectile including enuma elish even if it breaks
so it could stop a full power enuma elish
4:55 the world "sekai" which means world can also mean universe so thats why there is a mistranslation
also glad to see you fixed your mistake from the previous gilgamesh video improving is good
5:14 ok so about this
nasu sometimes uses game mechaniques because he visualized fate as a game in his head
this is essentialy how enuma elish would work in a specific type of video game and its not really applied in any canonical way
