I’m a bio major, love science but it was so shocking seeing some of the studies done about chickens. Lots of it reeked of corporate greed and seemed abusive to the animal. When I give them random bits from the fridge they seem happier than when I toss out feed. The excitement and fun has to factor into their health, but we can’t really measure that.
My thoughts on medical science has changed dramatically over the last two years. I no longer have the level of trust I once had. Money, big money, seems to be driving for certain results. Science seems to have been dropped along the wayside.

I remember going to my grandmas when I was a little girl. Her chickens and peacocks free ranged. They had some grain, but for the most part, they ate bugs and worms and some kitchen scraps. The younger ones served her well with plenty of eggs and the older hens graced her table on Sunday. They had the best life!
As a former research scientist (geology/geochemistry) and as someone who has read thousands of academic articles on poultry (because that's just how nerdy I am), I can also add that the most important part of a scientific article is the Methods section. Second is the Data section (often labeled as 'Results'). Laypeople tend to only read the Abstract and maybe the Discussion/Conclusion sections (or worse, a newspaper headline). The problem with that is that those sections are #1) read out of context (they may apply only to a VERY specific set of circumstances) and #2) the authors' interpretations of the data NOT the data itself. Many laypeople don't realize just how much scientists disagree, so just because one study concluded something doesn't mean there aren't other studies out there that call those conclusions into question. Often discrepancies in opinion come down to the methods used - are they actually valid for reaching the conclusions they came up with? And to what scenarios do those conclusions really apply? Other discrepancies may results from the assumptions made or even the philosophies of the scientists themselves. For example, when I did extensive reading of the academic literature on chicken coop bedding, one study would say pine shavings were very absorbent and another would say they weren't absorbent at all. How can that be? Well, the authors used very different methods to measure the absorbency and therefore came up with different results and conclusions. One study would say sand is the dustiest bedding, another would say it's the least dusty. Again, different methods of measurement were used in the studies and very likely different sources of sand also. Scientists are also highly-biased human beings just like everybody else. We try to minimize that through the scientific method, but every study still has A LOT of interpretation. Data is rarely black and white. And methodology is never perfect. This is why you really want to fully read every study you can possibly find on any given topic to try figure out what the "truth" may be for the situations you care about. It's not easy. And of course you are also subject to your own biases and need to be super careful not to cherry pick. I think every one of us does that to some extent, but I'm a natural skeptic and cynic (so, yeah, biased in those directions). If the science is coming from the poultry industry - and almost all of it is - those scientists are trying to help farmers maximize production. Even most welfare studies are done to maximize production. So when you bring up feed - those studies are also done to maximize egg production. However, maximum egg production tends to be very detrimental to hens. I necropsy all my chickens and I'd estimate at least 3/4 die from reproductive diseases and disorders. I've wondered if there could be a diet that may result in fewer eggs laid (but still gets them everything they need for a high quality of life), which would be infinitely better for the health and well-being of high-production breeds. My desire for poultry nutrition studies would be to figure out the diet that gives the hens the best possible lives, regardless of production, but those studies will likely never be done. I feel like I'm starting to ramble - or rather this whole thing is one long ramble. Guess I'm just trying to say that I am a person who lives by the scientific method. I'm not into most natural remedies at all. Anecdotal evidence is very susceptible to confirmation bias. There ARE studies out there on many of these natural remedies and homeopathic treatments that show they are ineffective for humans, even if they haven't been done on chickens - but to each her own. Again as a skeptic and cynic, I'm naturally biased against many traditional remedies and that affects how I view them and therefore makes me susceptible to error. And much like you, I don't feel like it's my place to demand people share my values and to think only the way that I think. That would be a scary world. But I fully agree with you that you need to be very careful when applying scientific studies to chickens. In my research, I've learned more from ONE single multi-month study on feral chickens that was published in 1969 than I have from thousands of modern studies done on factory farm and lab chickens. In my opinion, we can learn more about chicken behavior and needs from studies on wild chickens in natural environments (or semi-natural country farms) than we can from chickens forced to live in artificial environments. Or at least we can if you want to raise your backyard chickens humanely. Unfortunately, these studies are few and far between, so the best we can do is CAREFULLY glean what we can from the very imperfect but plentiful studies we do have. And show some humility when we do so. Novel over.

The problem with only following the science is that science needs funding. Things that don't make profit, don't get funded. Not being proven by "science" in no way means it's not true.
I agree 2/3 of your statement. Though no true scientist would declare a subject matter untrue until proven. They would just say more study needed or study to disprove or prove a subject until it becomes an undeniable fact.
I agree with you! I see what science does to people and how so much corruption is packaged with it in all aspects of science. I put my faith in Jesus and He’s never set me in the wrong direction. God bless you and I appreciate you and your channel.

So I work in pharmacy in a large city hospital and i genuinely think people forget that many medications are *still* derived from plants and animals, just in neater packaging. Homeopathic remedies are great in order to maintain a healthy system, prevent an issue, or to remedy a SMALL problem. Senna, capsaicin cream (for arthritis), aloe vera, witch hazel, ginger...All used at a hospital regularly, all can be grown in a garden. Small issues and tiny speed bumps dont need to be met with an onslaught of pharmaceuticals, but you should also be aware of when homeopathic is no longer the answer
Yes! This is actually what I always say: there’s a place for medications but if you can start out with something gentler when possible, I try to always take that route first. There’s also some super strong herbs out there so you still have to be mindful even with natural stuff!
If course- most know the difference from herbs and drugs and what herbs can do and what medicines can do or not so. Just like knowing miracles come from God and not drugs. Learning about all three are important: homeopathy ( herbals), drugs and God.
I'm well aware that Rockefeller "medicine" took over herbalism, many natural, God given remedies and manipulated them or genetically modified the natural substance so they could patent medications. It's always a good idea to see both sides of anything.
Thank you for addressing this topic! Our country is divided as it is divided between #Science and #DevinePowers and I think you've done a great job on deescalating futile arguments. The argument isn't "What the homesteader/farmer/Prepper/Gardener is feeding #THEMSELVES the problem comes in when you take away the right for the public to #Know and #Choose what they put in their bodies and #how. #Keepupthegreatwork you have helped me save much sickly chicks.
Do you mean divine powers? Like belonging to God? As a Christian and a retired science teacher, it’s been quite a battle as which one is dominant. The Christian, God’s way has always won in my life, but I have been in some serious debates with science-minded people. My feeble mind doesn’t always know the why of God’s ways but I trust God’s ways.
Haha boy oh boy, my chickens come running when I come out the back door looking for the goodies mom is bringing. They look forward to meals from the kitchen... They deserve and enjoy variety as much as I do. Keep up the great work!
Perfectly said! I believe there is definitely a resurgence in holistic and natural medicine. The knowledge you have is gold! Thanks so much for sharing!
I have never heard another person speak so eloquently on that deep ancestral need for connection through chickens that I have also felt. I couldn't previously describe to people why I want to to raise chicken so badly more than in this moment, as you've put it into words! This! That connection to something we've done for a millennia 🤌 I feel so validated watching this video that I actually cried a little bit 😅
Chickens are a huge connection to the past and our position on the food chain. I love mine, it sometimes surprises me that my love for them will bring me to tears when one of them gets hurt or doesn't feel well.
This is the video that got my subscription ❤. I’ve been bouncing around different channels looking for solid educational info. I want to start keeping chickens and have begun my studies. I appreciate your enthusiasm, but also your level headed critique of the science of chicken husbandry. I’ve had some of the same questions as I have begun my studies. Thank you for your efforts with this channel. 🙏🏻
You are so dag on cute. Your chicken passion is contagious. I'm leaving NC for MD in the morning and I've added a chicken rescue onto my itinerary. Silkie roosters were headed for an auction and I'll be bringing 15 or so home with me to the country. Very excited to share some with a friend and bring some new fellas for my ladies. I'm over 50 now, maybe even 60. Yippee. 🐓🐥🤗🥰
I've had chickens off and on my whole life and I'm 81 and still have a flock of 7. I'm with you on the scraps and treats I just can't help myself. I hear from some quite regimented chicken experts that the commercial food is all they need, plus fresh water, grit and oyster shell. Sorry but I have perfectly good scraps from my garden and share them. Chickens crave greens. I also feed them the commercial layer feed which you are right it's really gotten expensive. I have my chickens in Alaska so I have a set of different challenges here.
Sooo over the medical “industry” trust completely gone. My flock has so much joy when they nibble scraps from the kitchen. Makes me happy when they’re happy 🙂
Soooo, someone is judging how you care for your birds? (You do so beautifully, I might add). I think those "science" people should concentrate on complaining to the companies who are infuriatingly cruel to millions of birds, living in filth, on top of millions of other birds dead and sick and dirty, injected with GMO's and growth hormones so they can't even move..or where are those science people when animals are tortured in laboratories in the name of science??? .WHERE IS PETA??? PLEASE!!!! Here is some AMAZING SCIENCE FOR YOU...chickens have been doing just fine for a gazillion years before ANY of these scientists were ever born. Imagine that...God's creations live on in spite of science people. Keep being president of your wonderful flock! Your videos are so helpful and uplifting!
I totally agree! In my family we avoid chemicals as much as we can, and go the natural route. I've been so pleased to learn about soaked/fermented feed, weeds, greens from our garden, the chick slurry, essential oils, diatomaceous earth, etc. (I did also use VetRx and it worked for my backyard too.) and my girls seem to be pretty content, and I've been able to take care of things right away by keeping an eye on them. I've learned so much from you, and my boys had such compassion/empathy on our chicken when she was sick! We're also studying chickens as part of our homeschooling, and everyday, both of my boys tell me how much they love our chickens, and how much the chickens care and spending time with them is their happy place. They happily learn about all about the chickens, and do the work with our chickens. I talk about the science of chicken care, but also talk about how we can do things naturally to help them thrive and have a good life.
Your knowledge is very rewarding for me. I'm so glad I found your videos. I've been watching your older ones. Thank you for helping me, how to raise happy healthy chickens.🐓🐥🐥
Bwhahaha…. Breaking up the kids during a video cracks me up! You’re like the mom yelling at her unruly kids in the Walmart aisle 🤭😅 Great video…. (Again) Thank you
Science has become a religion instead of the activity of studying, experimenting, and observing. The thing about science is that it can prove most sides of a dice right. Just like statistics 😂 different equations can get you results you're looking for.
I’ve ALWAYS felt this way since I started going holistic and naturopathic in my 20’s. Alas, because I don’t have a college degree it means I don’t know any better. As if I can’t read, right? I do more research and read medical studies and journals than most people with advanced degrees.
That's right. We are capable of making educated decisions without the degree. Plus we care so much for our flocks that there is added incentive to do what's right for our chickens.
Hear! Hear! Environment plays such a big role in scientific study. Thanks so much for sharing your vision and views. I know it can be hard and I appreciate you. 🐥
I think you and I are soul chicken sisters lol! I feel peace with my chickens too. No matter how the rest of the world may be falling apart, when I watch my sweet chickens scratching and foraging and enjoying being chickens, everything is ok in our own little chicken world even if only for 10 minutes. Our food system is broken. Our family has begun learning about the native plants and wildlife around us for the past 2 years and we have found countless edible plant species on our own property. This spring alone, we have harvested blackberries, huckleberries, and wild lettuce. We have lost so much information that our ancestors knew. They knew when to check the forest for certain food, they knew how to live in harmony with creation. I appreciate your take on chicken keeping.
I agree so much. Science, these days, is not fully reliable. Thank you for this channel. I have seen your husband’s video/ad multiple times now on social media. Is that actually him behind the camera?
No, that’s an actor. :) My husband is an aerial cinematographer, so he does the shots from a helicopter. I think his shot is toward the end of the commercial. ❤️
Music to my ears 😊. I have a constant guilt that I feed my girls other things in addition to their layers pellets. The number of people who blame any problem you have in the flock on feeding other things is frustrating. We cannot legally feed scraps to our chickens here in the uk, as you know, but I readily feed purchased or harvested fruit, veg, herbs, live meal worms, and other little treats. Not instead of layers pellets but to compliment them and add interest to my girls lives. I do make use of a chicken vet when I think I need to, maybe earlier than some but do try to use natural treatments first if I think they could help. I cannot agree more that being among your chickens connects you to them and the earth. They are wonderful healers of the mind and soul. They also are fantastic entertainment. What’s not to like 😆😊🌸. All the best. Mags x
Madam President, it's undeniable that you possess a great store of knowledge about these precious birds. But even more valuable is the vast store of wisdom you've amassed, both from understanding your family's heritage of natural chickenkeeping and what you have observed and practiced yourself. When it comes to treating problems, I care more about advice that works than its provenance. Like you, I actively live with my birds as vital parts of my life that occupy my waking hours--and I find that I'm all the richer for it. The meme is true: "I found the key to happiness...surround yourself with chickens and stay away from idiots."
I guess I would say things that are true can be proven by science which does not mean that things which have not yet been proven (or disproven) by science are necessarily false. Just untested. I'm new to your channel, but have absolutely loved your info!
No studies on Vitamin D either - you can't patent the sun! But such a major factor for human & animal health - love how chooks just melt in the sun, we should learn from them (from someone who avoided surgery by finding out it was Vit D deficiency, just in time) 💛
Hello from South Africa! Loved this video (along with others you have posted). Your points are SO valid and you have a great balanced view of science versus traditional/natural methods of doing things. I think the issue is that science has become equated with corporate greed - which is most certainly a thing in all areas of life - because science sold out, but as you say, that doesn't make what is proven by science invalid. And, as you again say, we definitely don't need science's stamp of approval for anything. Keep doing what you are doing - great stuff! will be sharing on FB.
Superb video! Much needed awareness on this subject matter, you said it very well here. I've been binge watching your videos since I started my flock a couple months ago, and your content and info is very helpful and you're fun to watch. Keep up the great work :D
I am thoroughly enjoying your channel, new to me as I just started my 2 lady flock within city limits. My girls turned their beaks up at the herb/egg scramble. They finally ate them a day later. 🤷♀️. Definitely enjoy pecking at the veggie plants in the garden. I’m protecting my beets though! Just as in anything…. Follow the $ and you’ll discover the truth.
My hens always seem leery of new snack I give them. I heard they love marigold but mine ran away from them. I tried again yesterday and the had a blast rummaging through a very large plant.
@@cathyl4622 They have enjoyed when I dead head my marigolds and absolutely have to protect my beet patch from them. I’ll give the eggs another try.. Thanks!
I love you, and your chicken, you are so kind and serious about doing something that makes you always look so good, full of sunshine and vitality because you do what you love. And your beautiful, lovely chickens. God bless you! Greetings from Cyprus
Keep asking questions. Question everything. There is nothing wrong with that. That’s how you Lear and that’s how the truth is found. God bless you. Don’t feel bad about questioning science. Lately science has been influenced by money and influential people, instead of science following scientific fact. I feed my girls chicken food and fruits and vegetables from my kitchen. They have gotten some noodles and bread too. I also pull some grass from my yard and feed them that, because I cannot let them graze (too many predators where I live).
You and I are of one mind when it comes to science. ❤❤❤. Bravo on wording it so well! Love your channel. I’ve watched so many of your videos and I don’t have any chickens YET. ☺️
Thank you so much for this video. 💛 I've found that the people screaming most zealously about "science", are the types of people who have never read a scientific paper in their lives, or don't have any clue how to calculate percentages, don't know about placebo and control groups, or don't know about the flaws of peer-review, or bias within academia, or conflicts of interest, it goes on and on. They scream "believe SCIENCE" because that's all they have, blind faith. While if you actually know how to read science, you can tell the good from the bunk, and you can make a whole picture. I believe wholeheartedly in a combination of ancestral wisdom and young innovation. Throw one out, and you're much worse off for it, blind and foolish. Unfortunately, society is getting more polarized where more and more people decide to go all-in for only one or the other.
I also trust the information passed down from our ancestors. Who knows how many generations did it take for them to discover what they know...yet their teachings are accurate and valuable. I agree with everything you stated in your video.
I wanted a parrot my husband got me 4 beautiful hens for mother's day I love them they started laying last week. They are nicer than most people I know and my bulldogs look out for them
I'm TOTALLY on board with your opinions pertaining to validity of empirical wisdom, the (limited) benefits of poultry science funded by inhumane industrial partners focused on profit at all costs. Love your channel! ❤️
My girls supplement with chicken feed......lol. Kitchen scraps, veggies and fruit just for them, garden critters and weeds keep them happy. Oh and they love grasshopper season. Yeah they love the cat food too.....when they get to it.
Great post. However, what you do can be measured scientifically. Also, there are hundreds of studies in journal publishing’s that address the very bias you speak about. For example there was a group that was relying on some Dr. who was hired by Purina who tells everyone that oatmeal is toxic and causes a specific issue with their digestive track. In turn I found that information came from his own private study and I found them at oatmeal actually did the opposite and was helpful in several other studies. So you are so right, the thing is, most people do not have access to original scientific articles or the time or background to decipher them (that’s why we have popular press magazines that publish the gist of these studies and like you said, they don’t give the whole story (which in turn leads to bias and more AND use what many people claim to be “in the name of science.” Would love to chat sometime and perhaps we could publish one together. :)
I just got Chickens for The first time last month !! I have unfortunately lost 5 chicks because I’m still learning but I have learned a lot threw TH-cam and I’m glade I came across your channel! Also what do you use for heat I have a heat lamp but I just moved them out To the side barn just wondering what you use ?
I have just found your channel and have found it very very interesting...I am a person who not only would love eggs from a chicken but also have a fun relaxing relationship with them.. I know this might be a touchy subject but do you raise any to feed your family... I honestly can not have that closeness to them to do that but it is done everyday in the worst conditions in a factory . just curious about your thoughts on that... Our ancestors have done that for many years and still raise them for that especially under these uncertain times...
Another brilliant video. I'm not against science neither, however, I AM against science that's funded with one sided Agendas and that's happening rampant. Much appreciation Chicken Sister 🌏🙏 Ancestral Wisdom is brilliant.
I can't put a dollar value on the peace I get sitting with my chickens and ducks, for sure, but it's a valued part of every day. Except when one of them tries to sit on my head.

Agree! Well put
@@DrMamaHart well you can use your god where you see fit. I’ll stick to science and plants ✌️
I am 100% with you my sister. Love your channel!🐓🐣🐤
I hate that we are so divided. I want chickens to bring us together!!
Sometimes anecdotal is better than science. Peoples opinions only matter if you let it matter. You keep doing what you’re doing❤️
Yes, and by monitoring and following scientific protocols, that anecdotal can be a qualitative study! :)
Haha boy oh boy, my chickens come running when I come out the back door looking for the goodies mom is bringing. They look forward to meals from the kitchen... They deserve and enjoy variety as much as I do. Keep up the great work!
I find your approach on this very reasonable and logical.
Thanks!
This! That connection to something we've done for a millennia 🤌
I feel so validated watching this video that I actually cried a little bit 😅
Chickens are a huge connection to the past and our position on the food chain. I love mine, it sometimes surprises me that my love for them will bring me to tears when one of them gets hurt or doesn't feel well.
This is the video that got my subscription ❤. I’ve been bouncing around different channels looking for solid educational info. I want to start keeping chickens and have begun my studies. I appreciate your enthusiasm, but also your level headed critique of the science of chicken husbandry. I’ve had some of the same questions as I have begun my studies. Thank you for your efforts with this channel. 🙏🏻
I'm with you all the way, Mr. President! Please don't let them talk or take you down. And Bubble-licious agrees most vocally.
Haha thank you!
Yippee. 🐓🐥🤗🥰
Yay!! I love that!
Sooo over the medical “industry”
trust completely gone.
Glad you are here!
Bwhahaha…. Breaking up the kids during a video cracks me up! You’re like the mom yelling at her unruly kids in the Walmart aisle 🤭😅
Great video…. (Again) Thank you
They were being so naughty!
Science has become a religion instead of the activity of studying, experimenting, and observing. The thing about science is that it can prove most sides of a dice right. Just like statistics 😂 different equations can get you results you're looking for.
So true and true science isn’t determining the results and finding ways to get the results you want.
You are my huge inspiration on how I take care of my girls ! Thank you for your knowledge and openness
❤️❤️❤️
There is nothing wrong with science, but nowadays it is often used by big industry to promote their interests. I completely agree with your points!!
I’ve ALWAYS felt this way since I started going holistic and naturopathic in my 20’s. Alas, because I don’t have a college degree it means I don’t know any better. As if I can’t read, right? I do more research and read medical studies and journals than most people with advanced degrees.
Same!!
❤️
Proven not to work and not proven to work are two very different things.
Well said!
I am getting chickens very soon! 🐓🐓🐓I am very excited . Although I will be going to rehab in a couple months . I’m going to have animals to love on .
How exciting regarding your new flock! And congrats on getting to rehab soon. You got this! ❤️
I agree...
I agree btw great video I really look up to you 😊
we have been lied to and "studies" can be biased and slanted. I agree with you.
Mine gets lettuce blueberries cantaloupe grapes every day as well as there layer pellets they love it
Bravo ❤
Aww... so nice to be reminded of all that.
love love your butterfly chair!😍
I guess I would say things that are true can be proven by science which does not mean that things which have not yet been proven (or disproven) by science are necessarily false. Just untested. I'm new to your channel, but have absolutely loved your info!
Just love your thoughts on this topic. Very similar to nutrition and big pharma. Thank you for speaking up on this.
You stand up pretty well for nature . I love 💕 it
Your so right .
You are amazing. I watch your videos BECAUSE of the way you raise your babies. Please don't change anything. What you do works! :)
No studies on Vitamin D either - you can't patent the sun! But such a major factor for human & animal health - love how chooks just melt in the sun, we should learn from them (from someone who avoided surgery by finding out it was Vit D deficiency, just in time) 💛
Wow! Good for you. ❤️
@@WelcometoChickenlandia thank you for replying❤it's sad how we're told the sun is bad for us, go tell a chicken that! 😊
Did you know that the sun doesn’t give us vitamin d, but rather assists our body make it. I didn’t know this until this spring! ☀️
Great conversation! Thank you for having it! 🐓
Yes! Great post thank you!❤
Hello from South Africa!
Wow! I will be watching all of your videos! I'm so glad you're in this world! ❤❤❤
I'm with ya! Great explanation! Blessings from the Northeast to the Northwest 🥰
Great Video
Thanks!
You are a backyard educator. The best! Thanks.
Haha. I stop my girls from fighting too
I love you, and your chicken, you are so kind and serious about doing something that makes you always look so good, full of sunshine and vitality because you do what you love. And your beautiful, lovely chickens. God bless you!
Greetings from Cyprus
Amen sister! 😊
Thank you . You're right 💜💓🍃
You and I are of one mind when it comes to science. ❤❤❤. Bravo on wording it so well! Love your channel. I’ve watched so many of your videos and I don’t have any chickens YET. ☺️
Build a coop and dooooo it! 😊
Well done. I'm with you. ❤️
Love this and totally agree. Thank you.
Those are the cutest nesting boxes 😍
You have great insight . I use herbals with my animals as well , but I do go to the vet when needed .
❤❤❤❤❤
This was a great calming video- thank you!!
Thank you so much for this video. 💛
I've found that the people screaming most zealously about "science", are the types of people who have never read a scientific paper in their lives, or don't have any clue how to calculate percentages, don't know about placebo and control groups, or don't know about the flaws of peer-review, or bias within academia, or conflicts of interest, it goes on and on.
This is my favorite video you've done! Amen! Amen!! Amen!!!
They are nicer than most people I know and my bulldogs look out for them
Thank you sssoooo much for this post...Very true!...I'd love to know how you would help a chickybaby with a broken wing?
Wow, great video!!!
I'm TOTALLY on board with your opinions pertaining to validity of empirical wisdom, the (limited) benefits of poultry science funded by inhumane industrial partners focused on profit at all costs. Love your channel! ❤️
You have a beautiful heart ❤😊
My girls supplement with chicken feed......lol. Kitchen scraps, veggies and fruit just for them, garden critters and weeds keep them happy. Oh and they love grasshopper season. Yeah they love the cat food too.....when they get to it.
I just love everything you say in this video. It is so true
Science can’t prove why Austra likes Roxy and Dot better than Buffy and Little Red. 😅
More studies needed. 🤣❤️
You are amazing!
Amazing ❤️
Dalia I use all of the Herbal Remedies and essential oils that you talk about, and I believe that my chickens are healthier because of it.
PREACH!!!!
What kind of trees did you plant in your run?
Agree!
Love you ❤

I just got
Chickens for
The first time last month !! I have unfortunately lost 5 chicks because I’m still learning but I have learned a lot threw TH-cam and I’m glade I came across your channel! Also what do you use for heat I have a heat lamp but I just moved them out
To the side barn just wondering what you use ?
I have just found your channel and have found it very very interesting...I am a person who not only would love eggs from a chicken but also have a fun relaxing relationship with them.. I know this might be a touchy subject but do you raise any to feed your family... I honestly can not have that closeness to them to do that but it is done everyday in the worst conditions in a factory . just curious about your thoughts on that... Our ancestors have done that for many years and still raise them for that especially under these uncertain times...
Another brilliant video. I'm not against science neither, however, I AM against science that's funded with one sided Agendas and that's happening rampant. Much appreciation Chicken Sister 🌏🙏
Ancestral Wisdom is brilliant.
What brand and type of bedding do you use? I added more birds and I no longer like the straw which is more time consuming to clean up after..
Mam explaint the best medicine or vitamin
I can't put a dollar value on the peace I get sitting with my chickens and ducks, for sure, but it's a valued part of every day. Except when one of them tries to sit on my head.
Look for “science” where money is.
Exactly. Who is funding the study? There is your answer!
