Angle the toilet just a bit and make the fridge a little smaller and a larger shower. Love the natural wood look

Overall, a very nice rig. At the expected Tiffin price point the drive train is anemic at 360 hp/800 ft lbs for a unit this big that will surely be pulling a toad. For us, being able to use the bed with the slides in is more important than access to drawers in the bedroom. Rear fuel fill is unnecessary when opposing fills do the trick at truck stops.
Another more personal preference is a single bowl kitchen sink instead of the small two bowl sinks used throughout the industry.

All right Matt , First dislike is that Roll Tide / War Eagle junk ! Go Big Orange !! The coach looks fantastic in that color palette .Stowage is very hefty , That Rear cap is indeed sharp/ futuristic . The all electric option is our Choice . The Separation of the H2o / Black H2o is a great idea. The Overhead bunk w. the lift up entry into the cab is a good feature too. Would like to see the outside Camera positions mounted much higher on the coach , i.e.Newell so as to keep them out of road spray . Love Hydraulic slides. No Cpap accommodation in the bedroom overhead , GO BIG ORANGE . That Restroom / Shower area bit tight, especially the shower . Overall this is a nice Coach from Tiffin/ Thor .

With you on the toilet matt...I'd almost do away with pantry to get more room for shower..looks like I could use one of the cabinets for pantry...but for ➕ love kitchen.. outside storage... and availability of getting to the driver's seat...

Part of the advantage of my super c is the fuel tank locations..any truck stop is setup for two side fueling, not digging the fill location

3 things didn't like 1. Rear fuel, 2. Small shower, 3. Toilet 3 things I loved 1. Dump valve for air will make it easier to level, 2. Living room with televator, 3. Pull out counter

Tiffin’s interior always looks like my Gramma’s circa 1990’s house. Tiffin designers need to take some time and watch HGTV and tour some recent model homes & follow suit.

I love the new Super C! I have a 2017 Phaeton 36GH in which I live full-time, so I speak from some experience on the following comments. I really like splitting the water and sewer bays. Great idea! I would change the following items. First, a full-timer needs a stacked washer/dryer. I see the 38 BB has that. Why not the 38AB? The combo w/d just doesn’t cut it. Second, get rid of the ceiling fan. I have one in my Phaeton. It doesn’t move enough air to feel it while in bed. Third, I agree with Matt about angling the toilet a little bit. Fourth, while having access to the bedroom drawers is nice when the slide is in, it doesn’t supersede the need to sleep on the bed when you pull over for the night while traveling and can’t leave the slide out. You can always put the slide out to quickly access the drawers, then pull it back in. Fifth, can you extend the little table ends at the side of the bed a couple inches to make it more usable (for a small fan to sit on?)? All in all, a great first attempt at a Super C. I’m glad Tiffin has finally jumped into the market.

I’d square off the shower and go with a flip down seat. Angle the toilet for TALLER people. Add hole for CPAP drop. Option ceiling fan. Escape door? Where do you put the DEF? I like the L kitchen. LITHIUM on all electric coach!

Like the residential feel of the wood - some super c’s are so industrial and macho looking. Like that the privacy shade matches the inside rather than being black ( which would make it too cave-like). Like the struts on the over cab bunk.

If Tiffin really wants to open things up, they need to find a way to enlarge the shower and ooch that toilet over a bit. Also, I keep wishing they’d make a queen bed optional. Not everyone really needs a king, and the smaller bed would open up a little space in the bedroom. On the whole, though, I really love the floor plan. Might offer white cabinet option. Some folks don’t like the wood and won’t want the darker color.

  • @stephg4705
    @stephg4705 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Wish they’d make one specifically for a senior couple. Don’t need the extra sleep space, but do need more storage. Don’t need all that seating space. Would rather see the space a nice big comfy dinette, more kitchen space, bigger more lux bathrooms. Stop with the king beds. Would rather have Queen with more walk around/bed making space and more functional nightstand area. Don’t need giant refrigerator, do need counter space. Love the pull out peninsula. As we age, we need accessibility/mobility features. I have never liked RV paint jobs. Just give me a nice, solid color paint job, preferably dark.

Remember folks! We're seeing the prototype and all suggestion's are looked at by Tiffin. Trust me they will consider them! There are the two floorplans to consider. What we all saw tonight was the Tiffin Allegro Bay "AB" protocol floorplan.
The "BB" floorplan can be viewed better at thier website. We're all very excited about the New Allegro Bay and anxious about what they're going to be offering. It's going to take a little time to work the kinks out and tweek around with the design, take suggestion's before the final product comes online.
Now, our personal floorplan preference after looking at both is going towards the "BB".
Our take on this rig? Beautiful! Although not perfect, it's got it's flaws. The bunk over. It is a little small space wize. But remember, Colin said they're working on the sizing. I'm 50/50 on the shade/curtain. The shade is modern and the curtain idea is classic. Maybe they could choose either? Love the hydrolic, lift of the bunk to the cab!👍
I like the option of choosing a different decor. We like the woodwork. We like the warmth. It looks much better in person.👍
I'd be choosing the cacoon pleather to lighten it up. I really wish they could add "City Scape", if that's what it's called. It offers more color and added texture. These grey's really aren't making for an interesting backsplash and color pallet.
Liked the interior space the seating across from the tv. I would prefer a fireplace option under the tv. And a little larger tv. That truly depends on the space they have to work with in the area where the tv stores and chords, cables needed for it, maybe?
Loved the "U" shaped kitchen when using the penninsula. The shower? Too small! But, you get a better one in the "BB"? Haven't looked. The bathroom is so-so. Definatly need to angle the toilet to make it work.
The bedroom is nice. It's a little narrow in the wardrobe are in this one. However they are larger in the "BB". Adding a hole in the cabinets over the bed would be great for those using c-paps. We prefer the stackable washer and dryer offered in the "BB".
Love that the grey water, black tank area's are seperate from the freshwater. I liked the paint job and the rear cap. Looks aggressive! We do like the engine upfront for maintenance and safety reason's. Like the stairs and grab bars for this "shorty". Oh the chroming, metallic look of the entrie's? Slick!👍😎😉
The storage is pretty good. We like the slide out trays fir stirage and the batteries.
The idea of a "Super C" is finally coming with the Tiffin name has been a long awaited and very welcomed process. Can't wait to see it in person.
We can't make it to the Florida Super Show.😢 All who are attending are going to be in for a real treat!👍 If we were to purchase one as soon as they were ready we'd be putting our money into the "BB" floorplan by the mere fact that it seems like there's more living space. If you've made it this far congratulations! I appreciate your time to read our perception of this New and Exciting addition to the Tiffin Motorhome Famy line of RV's!

Nice preview of the prototype, but I'm disappointed about the lack of the MSRP here or on the Tiffin site. Even a ballpark price would have been good. I prefer the 38BB floorplan. My dislikes are not being able to use the bed with the slide in and the shower. I really don't care about being able to access the drawers while in transit. The Roll Tide became boring after the second or third time.

Turn the toilet a bit more towards the center. Add a file cabinet to the dining/workspace area. I love the wood on the sides of the windows, it blocks the gaps from the side of the blinds, so there is full privacy. I love everything else!👍🏼

    @chrissutton6962 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

A nice unit but the shower is rather small and as Matt said the toilet would be better if angled. A stackable washer and dryer would be a preferred option. Not a fan of the closed off cab area from the living area and a single sink 0ption would be nice. Outside side refueling points would be much easier and safer for most as a rear refueling point could possibly mean that your rig is sticking its nose out risking damage from another vehicle catching the nose. I'm sure Tiffin will sort any issues as they come up.

We love this. We have a 2020 Tiffin Allegro Club 33 AA currently. And we absolutely love it. The one thing we do not like about this model, is that you have the couch up against the passenger side and then the Tele Vader goes up there. The passenger side is traditionally your patio side and it’s wonderful to be able to look out while you’re sitting at the dining room table. Currently the way you have this situated, your table is on the driver side. And you’ll traditionally be looking out at your neighbors or not desirable look most the time. If you do you put the theater seating and the couch on the same side, and left the Tele Vader the way it is. You would allow for people then to watch TV at the same time. The way you have it now the TV comes up and only two people have a great view of the TV. You could see it from the table, but one person Has to turn around.

Didn’t notice if you guys eliminated the Schwintek slides…..please get rid of those and either go all hydro or Vroom slide system. I do own a 2021 Tiffin and the electric slides are a constant problem. I do love the front diesel engine and the all electric coach.

Path forward: put in a larger shower and a larger kitchen counter for the AB floor plan or customers will switch over to renegade. For my uses I’d rather have two sitting areas and larger kitchen counter and larger shower. Thought with 12,000 tow rating it would have the 360hp/1150 ft-lb Cummins engine or go the renegade route and put a larger Detroit Diesel engine in the chassis. Plus’ seen compared to others: the overhead hatch to allow easier access to driver’s compartment, U shaped kitchen with a window/dishwasher

Love the layout and the quality Tiffin build. So glad to see them getting into the Super C market. They have to offer a bigger chassis. 12K towing is not enough to tow a stacker trailer and many of us are in the market for a super C to tow large loads.

Three things I dislike: that shade above the cab like Matt said. Put curtains there or something else; make it a true stand up shower - not liking the bench seat looking thing, takes up too much space; don’t like the ladder extension on the rear - doesn’t look too sturdy even though Matt did climb up it. Three things I liked: TV in prime spot across from the theater seats, split bath idea with the door that sections off front from rear; large refrigerator is nice, so many have small fridges.

  • @livingston878
    @livingston878 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Awesome first look, anxious to see the alternate floor plan. Agree with putting fridge on the slide. Would have liked to see with slides in, but understand this is a prototype. Move the toilet. I think the curtain for the overhead bunk would work. All the wood valences get clunky after awhile (but was a good first impression). How about a lighter color palate to be more modern? Any Tiffen plans for a small Super C (like Veracruz and Europa)? “Roll Tide” became really annoying on this side of the camera. No MSRP was a letdown. I don’t mind a factory rep for these special occasions; enjoy talking to them more at the shows than the salespeople. Thanks to Tiffen for an early look! If it was in the 30-32’ range I’d say to sign me up.

I have been looking for a super C for a while. Main reason is I want a good towing capacity. I wish this coach would tow more. Love the open space, but Tiffin tries to tuck things away to make the coach feel bigger. You can't skip on certain things. I.E. shower, bathroom, living room. Excited to see Tiffin excel as a new super c company!

Excellent review! Things I'd like to see... flush floor slides, stackable vented washer/dryer, deeper shower, angle the toilet for more comfortable use, c-pap hose pass through in over bed cabinets, 50" TV inside. What I loved... Freightliner chassis, cabinetry is beautiful, theater seating across from TV, towing capacity, battery tray, separate plumbing bays, exterior storage is phenomenal, dishwasher, over cab bed lift, and the exterior paint and graphics. Thanks again for this premiere presentation! 😁

Matt, thanks for the debut video on this new Tiffin Super C! Thought I'd share some thoughts since this was a prototype and Tiffin is still collecting feedback.
As an owner of an early Tiffin Wayfarer there were a few things that I liked that they carried over into their Super C. The seamless molded front cap is a winner. I also like that they kept the front bunk window, bunk window electric shade, and the heavy duty middle left section that sits on dual struts (all things I suspect they dropped in later Wayfarers for weight). I also like that they keep the wet bay for fresh water separate from the sewer bay (it bugs me even when the black tank flush connection is kept in the fresh water bay!). The floor plan reminds me a little of the Wayfarer's 24BW (my favorite and what I own), but with the bedroom slide on the side vs the back and then the extra space going to adding real living room sitting and dinette areas. Speaking of beds, having the foot not smash up against the drawers and preserving walking space around the bed even with the slide closed is awesome!
I think you were too hard on the drop down electric privacy shade on the top bunk. It'll really help prevent light intrusion from all the devices with LEDs and displays in the living and kitchen areas for those sleeping in the bunk. I also like you you could tuck under it when down vs. having to slide a curtain on a track runner in the dark (which makes noise). Lastly, I liked how that cab area was separated with partial walls behind the driver and passenger seats. Add a drop or pull shade in the gap under the lifting part of the bunk and the cold or hot cab won't be where all your cold or heat escapes while giving you more privacy vs messing with privacy shades in the windshield or cab windows.
I like the paint scheme! I hate the new Wayfarer's very simplistic minimalist hocky stick stripes, which makes it look cheap. Yes, my rig has all the swirls and I know this is a religious discussion.
Dumping the back rear air when unhitching is pretty cool and would speed up unhitching for sure!
I liked the bays, with Tiffin's real compartment doors, and that it looked like there was at least some passthrough capability over a couple sections over the frame rails.
It appeared the steering wheel didn't have any smart controls on it. I hope this gets resolved in the production units as not having a smart wheel really sucks at what I assume will not be a cheap / entry level price point.
I understand the slides not being seamless on the prototype, especially given they are still working out the size of the slides in production, but I really hope the production units have seamless slides. Seamless slides are a game changer when it comes to maintenance and water intrusion and I love that my Wayfarer has them.
When it comes to all electric vs. propane, I have to admit I love cooking with propane and BBQing with it vs. all electric. I'm hoping on a propane model they have the propane connector and hose in one of the passenger bays to hook the BBQ up to.
Fuel fill in the center rear? I get it based on the location of the fuel tanks between the rails on this particular chassis, but how will that actually work when trying to fill up at diesel pumps? You would almost have to be entirely outside of the bay to fill-up, which would suck in either very hot or rainy weather. You also lose the advantage of dual fuel fills from other chassis.
Hoping there will be more cabinet finishing options than just the two listed initially.
The ceiling detail was very simplistic and had too many hard edges for my tastes. I don't like fancy, but something in the middle.
Will the unit have enough power? A 12K lbs towing capacity sounds a lot, but how much would that drag down the speed for that power train?
Anyways, that's my initial thoughts. I'm very happy to see Tiffin enter this market. I've been looking to either stay with Tiffin to go to a Class A in the future (Allegro Bus?) or somewhere else for a Super C (I'm still debating which I'd prefer more and why). I'm hoping by the time I'm ready to upgrade Tiffin has even more Super C models and options as I'd like to stay due to the unbelievable great customer service I've experienced these last 3 years of owning one of their rigs. Thanks for the debut review Matt!
    Best,
    -Mark

Thanks guys for this awesome video. Good job, Tiffin! I see the updated floorplan on the website. I like the fridge in the slide. If the dinnette can turn into a sleeper, it would be great for my family of 6. The pop up hatch for the bunk over the cab is awesome! Just like Matt, I am not a fan of the two piece latter. I think if Tiffin can move the toilet can be moved a inch or two away from the wall, that would be great. Overall, a great Super C!

I am so glad Matt eventually came around to seeing the high quality of the Tiffin line!!! Hey Colin and Tiffin--you did an incredible job with this new Super C model. Man does it look super sharp! I am a bit biased as Tiffin fan and 2018 Open Road 36LA owner. I love the bedroom window and the access you are giving to the drawers in the bedroom on the road. You guys consistently come up with those types of innovations. And I love the Freightliner chassis. And your special air ride dump to lower the rear is super cool. I added 4 corner Liquid Springs to our Open Road and I didn't forsee how much of a bonus it would be to be able to raise or lower our entire coach when needed or convenient. I sent those same comments to you guys through your great sales representative Frank W. .Add a 4 corner LS factory option for the Open Roads!
Great Super C! I love having another option in the Tiffin line for us down the line. That paint job is fantastic as is the rear cap!

Beautiful RV. Love how the cut out in the bunk over the cab area is hinged. I also love the recliners! Matt, I love my air mattress, but then mine is a sleep number bed! A regular mattress is hard on my hips and back. My only complaints are the shade over the cab area and the lack of an oven. Sorry, microwave ovens don’t do a great job with certain recipes.

Agree with a curtain on the bunk vs the electric blind. Agree with expanding the slide to include the fridge. Would love to see this with a rear bathroom and also a queen bed.

I liked the over cab flip up too. I want some kind of safety on that bunk also. I would be afraid of loosing a person/kid out of it. Thx for catching the toilet issue so they can fix it.

I love the bunk over cab with the strut lifts and I think the electric privacy shade is a great innovation. Speaking from a guy who lived in a bunk in crew quarters on a cruise ship for 6 months, I think it is a great feature. And those recliner theatre seats are the bomb! Great job Tiffin!

Great review and super c. Like the bunk feature, kitchen layout and bedroom slide feature. Put fridge in slide will open it up alot. Safety features also great.. Agree on bunk auto screen not necessary. Bunk also should have safety net option.. Dislike combo w/d. Need stackable in both plans. Dislike slide floor not drop down. Nice job Tiffin!

My comments. Glad to see Tiffen enter this market. 1. Would love to see a shorter model. Everyone is doing the 39'. I would like to stick to around 35/36 feet and it would bring up the tow rating. Renegade is the only one doing this. 2. Need more modern wood color choices. 3. Don't like the wood valances around the windows, fabric is fine for me. 4. Don't like the rear gas fill up. Makes using a truck stop fill up harder when the dual pumps are meant for side fill up. 5. Need a bigger shower and move the toilet over, but maybe that is fixed on the bath and a half floorplan. 6. Would like to see an electric fireplace for extra heating. 7. Would like to see roof vent covers standard at this price point. 8. Don't like the ladder at all. 9. Don't like the tilt a bed, flat is more useful while driving for a quick passenger nap or stealth camping

I would like to see a 2000-3000 watt inverter and solar panels on the roof. I am partial to the bath and a half unit. I like the u shape dinette instead of a table and chairs. I like the pantry and the L shape corner kitchen.
I don’t like it having c-pap storage above the bed.

Great review and love the 'Super C' class of motorhomes. I'm looking at retirement and hitting the road in about 3 years. Really like the overhead bunk area with the motorized shade. The box slideout without carpet is a nice feature. The outside storage and optional color schemes are good, and the separation of the wet bay and dump tanks was a nice addition. The big back window is an awesome feature and love the dinette table. Future suggestions: Add more interior color options such as a white wood option. Also, an option for a stackable washer/dryer would be appreciated. lastly, with a quick stop for the night and the slides in, I'd prefer to have a comfortable bed rather than have access to the drawers. Just a personal preference but a comfortable bed is a must have. Other than that 'ROLL TIDE'.

I appreciate the positive energy you put into every video, post, and comment Matt and the team.
Sweet looking Tiffin with an awesome exterior paint design. Love the cockpit set-up and the hinged bunk over the cab. The drop shade is too much, a sideways manual curtain would be better
In the main living area I love the layout with couch, recliner, and the extendable table / work station. I prefer this semi gloss finish on the cabinets instead of the super glossy that other units have. Lots of pantry and cabinet storage. I agree with Matt and Will about the shower being manageable and toilet needs to be twisted a little bit.
It wasn't mentioned but was wondering if there is a power point on the camp side storage to have an outside fridge. I would also like to see a camp side water spray port for cleaning up when needed

Very nice unit, I don't like slide outs on the camp side towards the front, but I see why they did it. Funny, the rear is almost identical to my Bounder with the fiberglass rear cap, rear fuel fill in exactly the same location and the two-piece ladder that Matt hates which is why you should buy the Usteps. Love, love the interior colors. The gas lifts for the cab bunk is very cool. Hey, that trash can is bigger than most. Not a great deal of counter space in the kitchen. All in all, a very nice unit.

If there is still a open walkway in the bedroom room when the bed slide is in... Then make a floorplan with ONLY the rear bath and ditch half split bath. Add that as added storage and living space up front or addded kitchen space.

    • @marymason9981
      @marymason9981 2 ปีที่แล้ว

The BB Floorplan has a bath and a half and what would seem to be a larger living space by adding a larger slide to the drivers side .

I have to agree with Cliff here. I would go one step further and say that I would never, ever buy a motorhome where the bed has to fold in any way with the slides in. Travel comfort is one of the main reasons why people choose motorhomes over towables. It is commendable that Tiffin had a reason for designing it this way, but the reasoning is not very solid for most customers. It takes you no time at all to learn not to put things you might need either while in transit or on the occasional slides-in overnight stop in the drawers that are blocked off. And even then, it is quite often possible to *briefly* pop a slide out part way to get something out of a drawer in places where you otherwise shouldn't put your slides out. However, having a bed that people cannot utilize with the slides in is a much, much bigger deal. I like the unit but this one "feature" alone would be an absolute deal breaker for me.

Potable has a lock!!! Yeah, huge fridge, little smaller and moved back, great. LOVE the wood color and finish, with the "sand" shades and entire color scheme! Noticed as soon as the camera swung inside. VERY striking, spacious looking, and it also looks like a professional was involved with the whole process, or a team, working together; rather than "You do the valances", and "you get the lights", Wood, Floor, etc. Very cohesive. Love the backsplash all the way around, and full height. Theatre seats look like around $5k apiece, YUM! Small tv. Move the power outlet, upsize, bit wider at this price point, whatever that is. Didn't get there yet. Nope, move the toilet from the wall about an inch. EYE like the power curtain for the front bunk! Nice.

Bigger shower needed.. Dining table needs to be longer and wider. Angle the toilet. Above bed cabinets need hose hole for CPAP. Kitchen Option to have a bigger convection oven with removal of the small cabinet. Everything else looks great.

Overall very nice. I like the decor. Moving fridge into slide makes sense. Struts on cabover is good idea. Electric curtain on cab over looks nicer than curtains.ladder to cabover looks better than others. Electric power reel is a plus. Dump button for rear suspension is helpful.
Shower too small, turn toilet a bit.
    Didn’t show tank drain system.
I want to see the bath and a half.
What is the slide out mechanism?
Send one to me for thorough testing. 😎

Great design for Tiffin's first Super C. We are considering a Super C move from our 43' Class A. First my likes; Love the opposing theater seat/sofa design. Love the over cab bunk on the struts. I agree on moving the Frig to the slide for more room. Good idea making the bed usable with the slides in; many units fail in this. Some dislikes; The shower needs to be larger, I agree with Matt there is room to adjust the toilet so that is works better. If you do full body paint please paint the sides of the slides. I also wish Freightliner would put a larger engine in the SRV chassis. This floor plan looks like it may make our short list if the few small details are changed in the final production model.

Matt always makes a RV review fun. Great job.
    For Tiffin:
Good - Tilt-a-bed! Always do a tilt-a-bed and make it able to tilt, slide in or out. Stacking pillows to watch TV sucks.
Bad - For this segment...every model needs a space (with power) for a CPAP. If the owner is lucky enough to not use a CPAP, the cubby would still be a nice perk for phones, and stowage for those nighttime needs (water bottle, chapstick, ear plugs, etc).
    Beautiful rig!

Hello Matt:Let us start by saying Happy New Year to you and your crew.A few positive notes would be Pantry, credenze table and bar area and kitchen area. Now more than a few dislikes,(1)not full body paint(2)shower and toilet area.(3)rear diesel fill should be twin tanks up front,if DEF tank is up front then you must fill def first then pull up to fill diesel tank.(4)dislike folding bed,(5) entry level model shouldn't have a dishwasher in it draw space is more useable.(6)place of toilet should be moved over to accommodate larger people. (7)refrigerator yo large for the unit. Thanks for the video. As owner of a Dynamax Dynaquest xl. MONICA&WALLY.

    Likes:
Sewer bay is separate from the freshwater bay, roll down shade for the bunk, large residential refrigerator should not be smaller when added to the slide, fully reclining theater seats, and soft close drawers.
    Dislikes:
Bed is not useable with the slides in, 24x36 shower should be at least 30x36, short awning which should be a much longer girard awning at the roof line, and cabinets should be prepped for cpap.
