People throw all of their attention to Scarlett Johansson since she was kind of the original "girl avenger". I do agree with you that she does deserve better then the hate she gets. Not just the character Scarlet Witch, but Elizabeth Olsen in general. She is a phenomenal actress who is SO underrated. She and Karen deserve the same amount of respect as Scarlett in my opinion.

lakes because she is way more powerful in the comics and her powers are underused in the movies because she has so much more to her than is portrayed in the MCU. at least that's what I think.
When Thanos says that he understood better than anyone and Wanda said "you could never", Thanos gave a smirk knowing that he did understand her however she just didn't know it. But if you think about it, Thanos really couldn't understand Wanda's pain. Thanos has only lost one person (which is still very sad for someone but he sacrificed her) whereas Wanda has lost everyone that she loved. She lost her Mom, Dad, Pietro (brother), Sokovia, was labeled a monster by the goverment, lost Vision TWICE, once by killing him and twice by seeing Thanos just rip the stone out of him like it was nothing RIGHT INFRONT OF WANDA. So to be honest, Thanos really can't understand the pain that Wanda went through. Hence the reason why she was the only person who accepted her faith and was happy to die but I mean why shouldn't she? She has lost so much already. I think the two people that are so emotionally dead in is Thor and Wanda. Thor even said he wouldn't care if he died...as long as Thanos died for the deaths he caused. I don't think anyone from the Avengers can understand Wanda and Thor's pain because they have lost too much already whereas some of them at least have 1 person they love. That's all I wanted to say! xxxNerdy xxx You got it right! I feel like the short interaction between Wanda and Thanos is one of the most emotional and underrated moments of the film. Thanos actually seems to show respect and maybe even a slight bit of envy towards Wanda because of her brave sacrifice. I feel like out of anyone, he would have taken Wanda to become a member of the Black Order, or maybe even adopt her like he did Gamora. He recognized her power and you could tell she gave him a hell of a fight.

Zyra is definitely going to destroy the world + Actually we may see her own solo film after Avengers 4. The reason for this is because all the original avengers have their contracts due. Meaning that their time with Marvel is done unless they re-new it which most of them are not doing.Elizabeth's contract however is not due. I highly doubt that Marvel will make a bunch of movies and not include a Scarlet Witch one, one that is being highly asked for. Everytime Lizzie had an interview (about Marvel), she always get's asked if she wants a Scarlet Witch one. Do you honestly think Marvel will go through 2 or 3 years of films and NOT include Scarlet Witch? Also Elizabeth does want a movie but she just wants a costume change. If MCU Wanda unlocked her full potential, she'd be unbeatable. Also she's strongest when she's emotionally distressed. For example, in Avengers: Age of Ultron, when her brother dies she turns all of Ultron's minions into dust. She doesn't rip them apart. She literally disintegrates all matter close to her. Sheer power.

THE MERCHANDISE
It is subtle, but the Russo’s really showcased Wanda’s strength beyond just her using her powers. For one, the Black Order refused to go after Vision during the Wakanda battle because they knew Wanda was defending him. It was only after she left to go fight when they made their move. Another thing, after Wanda destroyed the Mind Stone, you could see a genuine look of shock on Thanos’ face. He wasn’t expecting that, and seemed to respect Wanda even more because of it. The Russo’s have said Thanos probably would have taken her with him out of all the Avengers. Last but not least, it is clear now that Wanda is at her most powerful when she is emotionally heightened. She unleashed major power both when she lost Pietro in AoA, and when she had to kill Vision in this film. If they really want to, having Wanda suffer a nervous breakdown when she comes back but Vision doesn’t could be the key to unlocking her true potential.

Amazing final battle, more than anything because it is literally killing the love of her life for the entire universe and at the same time with one hand fighting against thanos, despite having most of the gems of infinity, is definitely one of the strongest avengers , not to mention that she was able to destroy a gem.

The way she's just using her psionic powers, some battle experience and not her chaos magic, and she was already able to stalemate and even overpower Proxima Midnight at one point, the same person who bullied Okoye and Black widow later on this movie was amazing. Now that she's mastering magic using the infinite knowledge of the Darkhold, imagine her using all that powerful magic alongside her battle experience.

Steven Yang The Russo Brothers explained it in the commentary. Since characters like Wanda and Vision are so incredibly powerful, they have to find a way to “de-power” them in a way that makes sense to the story or else the movie would be over in 5 minutes. Vision was stabbed, and as a result his systems are failing. Makes sense because he literally had the Mind Stone smack dab in the middle of his forehead. He’s a walking target. Because of this, Wanda is then “de-powered” in a less literal way. She’s so focused on protecting Vision she lets it distract her from unleashing her potential. It’s only until the last scene where she destroys the Mind Stone and faces off Thanos where she truly shows what she is made of.

I really like how her powers look in infinity war but honestly nothing will top how amazing they looked in Age of Ultron for me, I’m kinda disappointed how much they changed them.
Faye Valor I actually spoke to the lady who does the sounds of some of the heroes and one of the heroes she’s in charge of is Wanda (the sounds of her powers). I asked her if she knew why they changed the way her powers looked and she said “well mainly because of new writers but also because they focused mainly on her mental manipulation in the first movie, and they wanted to show her growth but they’ve always been nebulous in appearance.” So I’m guessing different power sets have different appearances, let’s hope we see some new ones in A4 🙌🏾🙌🏾
I see it as she has more control so it’s less messy and more kinda clean. But she still doesn’t have full control so it doesn’t have any patterns like Dr. Strange so when she learns more it will change again to look better.
Hail Hydra I just hope she never has the Dr.Strange Mandalas, I’d hate to see her with those. Her magic is different than Strange’s so they should look different. I actually don’t mind the balls of light like I use to in the past.
jerrylharbin no it’s not gonna have what he has it’s just gonna have more definition instead of a lose ball it’s gonna have some sort of pattern. The Russo’s or Simeon Ron Marvel said that when she gets control of her powers it will have pattern. Or something like that.
Hail Hydra Feige said “She is pulling energy from a different dimension like Strange is it’s just she has no concentration, that’s why her powers look loose and chaotic, where as Strange has the mandalas because he can focus his energy.” They are both using magic they just got them from different sources(which is why I think they should look different). It would totally play into Doctor Strange saying something like “There is no Chaos Magic, I’ve never heard of it” or something to distinguish her magic as something totally different and dangerous. What do you think her pattern would be or what do you want it to look like?

Wanda probably doesn't even want to come back. She lost her parents, her fraternal twin brother Pietro, AND her lover Vision. In her heart and mind, what is there left to fight and live for?

i wanted more power from Wanda in this movie, because she is very strong and that movie doesn't show it (not counting the scenes in Wakanda) but I hope in the next movies will show her real power.
And in fact, in the scene when Wanda was defended Vision, her power was shortened, so that Captain America, Black Widow and Falcon appeared epically
She is not hand to hand combat master. She needs some space to use her powers,those two enemies were aggressive.
It’s a shame they didn’t show her true power because she could’ve really made a difference, but of course the Russo brothers wouldn’t do it because it would mess up the ending of the movie and plot for avengers 4

The truth is Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) is not dead! She's with the other heroes who fade away... they exist in Soul Stone with Gamora and the others who died and fade.... so they will come back when someone breaks the Soul Stone!
