The game your dad is thinking of was the last game of the 88-89 season. The player was Michael Thomas rather than David rowcastle. 2 years later Thomas scored the winner in the fa Cup final, playing for Liverpool.
It was Michael Thomas who broke from midfield and scored the winner against Liverpool in that match. I was at the game that night as a Liverpool supporter but Rocky was a brilliant player.

Love these videos! Would love to see a video where you kind of show the process of how you simulate as i have tried this myself with teams that should do well and just fail. Tried it with multiple tactics as well and keep failing. Was a team that was projected to finish 5th and never finished above 14th and even got relegated once. When i played a season myself with them, I finished 3rd.

love the vids! since you haven’t done eredivisie rebuild this year, I would recommend doing Excelsior rebuild (definitely biased lol). they are a perennial relegation team that has some interesting things going on; a unique history of being Feyenoord’s satellite team for a couple of years, having a very small stadium, being a distant third in Rotterdam, as well as having a very young team with potential solid eredivisie starters like Horemans, Azarkan, and Baas
Marquinhos came in,in jan for arsenal played once off the bench I think then they loaded him to Norwich where he’s done all of nothing😂
He made a few appearances, and scored in the Europa League... Definitely one for the future, and at such a low price. Hopefully he can develop into another great Brazilian winger.

Think you should do Stromsgodset IF in the top tier Norwegian league, it was a great club under Ronny Deila in the early 2010s. They did both win the league and the cup in just a few years. They are also know for their highly rated youngsters with Martin Odegaard being the most known one. But in the last few years they have been struggling with finances and know they are every year fighting to avoid relegation. Otherwise I love your work. Keep grinding

Hi Luke, subscribed and love the channel. I would love to see a “Golden Oldies” experiment were you put the oldest active players with the best current ability over the age of 35 into one team. For example:
GK: Neuer
DEF: Marcelo, Pepe, Sergio Ramos, Dani Alves
MID: Modric, David Silva, Fernandinho
FWD: Ronaldo, Zlatan, Messi
You could make up the bench with the next best rated golden oldies.
To make it interesting maybe you could make a team with all the best wonder kids in the game and add them to the same league to see who would come out on top.

Pls rebuild the Grazer AK in Austrian 2nd division. They won the league title like 20 years ago and than got bankrupt 4 times in a row and now came back from the lowest tier to the second league. They were also the only team which won against Liverpool at Anfield in champions league qualifiers when Liverpool later won the Champions League in like 2005
Could you do a rebuild on Vålerenga in Norway? Always been one of the best teams in Norway for quite some time, but the last 10-15 years they have been jo-jo around in the top divisjon 😊

Well obviously you're gonna rebuild Shelbourne who never bounced back from being knocked out of the champions league qualifying final round by deportivo lacoruna in 2004. I've been watching a bunch of these videos as I was thinking about getting the game but every season u have players with 30 plus goals and 20 plus assists. Does he have it set on super easy mode or something? Seems very unrealistic

@OmegaLukeGaming but even ur dad had Tammy Abraham banging in 50 plus goes in 50 games. This isn't a dig at ur content cuz I've actually enjoyed it but as I said, I was thinking of getting the game, and it just appeared to be a bit unrealistic.
I helped him with tactics on the first rebuild he did, he just chose the player roles
