Personally if I was Omega Dad I'd be tempted to stay at Chelsea and push for the Champions League considering the squad he has there is one of the best in the world as it is. The more you build up these teams the harder you'll make it for your new clubs. I suppose this is most trophies rather than who completes them all first though so I guess staying there just in case they happen to win that one trophy might be a bit short sighted. I'm just not sure how far you can really take Nice, look how far off it they were. I'd wait for something better if moving.
After watching Luke's solo glory hunter last year, there's definitely an argument for that, but Dad is behind now and having the potential of 4 trophies in 2 seasons (UCL, UEL, Ligue 1 & Coupe de France) with Nice, I think he needs to do it and then wait on one of Bayern, Barça or Real Madrid to come up before he makes his move to Spain or Germany. In the meantime, he'll have chances with Nice and whichever Italian club he might go to next.
@@tylersmith3533Yeah I don't think you win all that with Nice even in two seasons tbh, they have a good team but they were way off the pace and PSG are too good (plus City are in the UEL in that first season), he could end up with nothing. I'd be more tempted to wait for something else to come up for a couple of weeks. The option for UCL with Chelsea or UEL with City is there, but who knows what else randomly comes up.
@@StevenTwoTwo to be fair, I'd have said the same thing about Germany, but Luke went and beat Bayern to the double in a single season, it can happen. In one season with Nice and a bit of luck, I can see either a Ligue 1 or a Coupe de France win with a chance at the Europa League. Give it two or three seasons and I can definitely see France being done if it gets built right, otherwise, you're just waiting for the PSG job, and both of them will be after it at the same time.

If im omega dad i give chelsea one more season for a crack at champs league 1 million percent, that team is 1 or 2 additions away from a final 🤷 first season at nice would be abit of a rebuild id rather wait for something better to come along 😅
The key transfer was a decider 😂 To be honest it looks like Luke moving to City and Dad to Nice would make most sense now.

Dad to Nice would not be beneficial as that would be a good 3 years before possibly over throwing PSG. Best way would to either wait to do France last or if by chance PSG job comes up to then jump for the easy win
@@peterroberts5817 surely psg job would open the chance to complete France in one season, but this Nice side is stron enough already to mount a challenge plus Europa League is up for grabs. It’s a decent opportunity, but ofc not the golden shot that guarantees trophies

Hope you manage to recap who else moves jobs in game, I always find it fun to see. In one of my saves Arteta got sacked & ended up with 7 or 8 teams getting new managers only stopped as Benfica was on & I didn't have Portugal loaded.

This is a great save idea and I started my own Glory Hunter save a few days ago! And first season in already left Portugal (started with Benfica) and funny enough the Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Inter Newcastle and Bayern M jobs were available!
As per the rules I resigned and it was quite interesting to pick a club to go!

Big season by Omega Dad. I would stay 1 more season at Chelsea and try to win the CL. As for Luke, I'd try to go to city and get the FA Cup and Europa League double

With the squad that Omega Dad has, I would be a bit tempted to stay one more year and go for the Champions League. Because English clubs are your best bet in terms of finance to go for the CL. You'll have much lesser budgets to play with in Italy or Germany etc

Nice and City look like the two best chances of winning a Europa League this season, but we've all seen how insane football can be sometimes, so it wouldn't surprise me if a random team from elsewhere wins. Juventus are also in it, which makes it more interesting (or maybe they're UECL?)
If Dad wants to hedge his bets on a shuffle, he could wait for the City, United and Arsenal jobs to fill - I imagine that at least one of them will be the current Madrid/Barcelona/PSG/Bayern manager and then he can go for one of those, but its a risk given that its not guaranteed.
I expect the major tripping point for this challenge is going to be the Italian league, though. Not much money and forever 8 teams hovering around the same level, always with the potential to throw a surprise in. Napoli, Inter, AC, Roma, Juve, Atalanta, Fiorentina and Lazio, then Sassuolo, Bologna and Udinese are either incredible or terrible, but mostly, at least one is excellent in any FM save.
Overthrowing a single dominant team (Bayern in the BuLi, PSG in L1) is, in my opinion, easier than elevating one team above another 7 over a full season. The BuLi and L1, even La Liga, have obvious options, too, if you wait for the job to come up for long enough. Serie A just doesn't have one team clearly above the rest.
Two seasons in City for the EL and CL unless any better options comes up. Nice would also be a good shout for Dad. Also, how often do we get treated with a new episode?

I'd stay at Chelsea because that team is cracked, make a proper go at the CL. Once you've got it, every other European club that might not be the clear frontrunner, but that would be able to compete for the title will be acceptable prospects.
