Maybe you should try to use fully closed/white cable management ducts/trays stuck to your wall to manage the cables and hide them. Your setup would look very clean that way :)

Hey, on the carpet subject it may have hardwood floors underneath if you bought it off someone else. I’d lift a corner to check if you’re unsure could save a lot of money
given the appearance of the age of the home, have you made sure that you dont already have hardwood floors below the carpet? It is super common for that to be case.

cool video, but i noticed that the piano stand isnt used to its fullest, id suggest putting the cables into it since it can be opened, stuff like the extra length of the cords, maybe the powerstrip that their plugs plug into, and other stuff that are connected to the pcs but arent supposed to be shown

I'm speechless! It looks freaking amazing. The cable management is unreal. That last shot blew my mind, you can literally only see the power cord. All that equipment, 1 power cord, looks fantastic! I liked that first lamp you had in there, the bankers lamp. The rainbow glares shining through the windows and onto the rug and walls is majestic. Your office looks great in the daytime, and even better at night. That light from the bankers lamp was hitting though. And the piano bench... booom! Night and day. Hey Butters, could you perhaps share a link to what monitor mounts you have? I am currently looking for one that can stack 2 monitors on top of each other. The setup looks SOOO amazing btw !
Having a rug directly on timber flooring will act the same unless you add double sided tape to the rug or a non slip backing. p.s. lose those horrendous Crocs, only losers wear them.
Very nice set up and a decent attempt to hide the spaghetti that PC cables can be. I've got a few notes here and there that might help you better cover the cables. For the cables leaving the trays on the right backside underneath the desk, there are cover sleeves for cables that can be attached to each other with zippers, so you can "Dress" the leg with 2 or 3 of these depending the size of them and the desk's leg and hide the cables going down to the floor with it. For the cables running down on the ground parallel to the wall, you could opt to get a pvc cable channel to hide them within. The channels come in many sizes and sometimes shapes and you can even paint them to match whatever background will be near them (you can find them in white even to match what you got already). For the cable nest that you are hidding in the corner of the room behind the painting, you could possibly go for plastic or fabric cable sleeves that can be warped around them all together as to make them all seem like one.. and so less chaotic, especially if you later add furniture, one cable containing them all is easier to hide.
Hey Butters, I have owned snakes for over 20 years and worked at a rescue, I saw your Po video and he is gorgeous, you'd be better using a substrate like eco earth or arcadia earthmix to keep the humidity right for him and he could use a little more plant coverage in there and some more places to hide - sent with love 💗

I have one question, what's the name of the wifi you use? Weird question I know, but my internet has been between good and bad with most lag spikes sometimes. mainly for call of duty
what u do is for saving files for vid editing use a nas system this puts your files on a network drive, its best not save files to the local drive, u dont have specifically need to buy an actual nas system from qnap/synology you can build 1 from use current pc parts or with an old pc its an inexpensive way to do it but yes having a ups system will help incase of electrical blackouts.

The one problem I have is the pcs I can’t handle seeing them next to each other by the wall I was going to suggest about putting the pcs behind the wall and drill on holes for cables but from what I saw is that won’t work with the walls being connected outside unless you could put it behind the closet I know it’s your setup and you have your own opinions and preferences I just wanted to say and maybe could be a future change if you are interested in it or not

This is pretty awesome! Those desk are so expensive though. You could go to lowes or home depot and get the same wood for a fraction of the cost. You could get 5 desk tops for the cost of one of the desk from Haworth. Crazy
I think tile would be better than hardwood floor look at Emilia Porcelain tile it is very nice but kind expensive but looks nice. you can also add tile to a wall to brighten it up as well but just depends on what you want and like, but the room looks good
In my opinion, it would appear a bit beter if you used the second desk to put the PCs and put the cables that were on the floor underneath the second desk. It would made it look better in my opinion...

For taping things on the desk, use "Alien Tape" or similar. Sticks very well and is easy to get off when needed by twisting. Have a great day!

4 Velcro strips on the corners of the rug to prevent creases ? Could help, they should automatically stick to the carpet below it.

I never wear shoes indoors... always socks or bare feet. Less cleaning that way. I don't understand why people do it.

In icue, you can mix static colors by selecting groups of leds with left click. Control to add more.
