@@jnagarya519 he’s my favorite lyricist of all time. There’s an infinite purity, sentimentality, simplicity, and profundity to his songs. The syllables flow so effortlessly it accomplishes a therapeutic affect better than any anti anxiety medication known to man. His songs represent an ease and mastery of poetry that is difficult to find comparison to. His attitudes are always endearing, humble, and startlingly insightful. All time great most definitely.

We were fortunate to see him a few days earlier in St Louis. He seemed to be in good spirits and having fun. And then less than 6 months later- he was gone. Hope he still is smoking that 9 mile long cigarette and drinking a Handsome Johnny with his Aunts. This big ol goofy world lost a good one
I remember seeing him in Champaign, IL during this tour. Before exiting stage he stood left stage and declared, “ Still got it!!” And yes he did!
