    I now have Bl Touch on 5 of my 8 printers including a version 1 which is still working as good as the day it was installed, I don't have the confidence in Crealitys quality assurance or build quality to buy a CR Touch so any future purchases will be an Antclabs BL Touch.
    PS Despite Creality launching this probe they still have not fixed the XY offset error to any of their ABL equipped firmwares

    I run 2 of each.. Both work as designed for me. But the CR Touch has a massive rattle while printing and its a bit larger than the BL. The BL runs with a red light and the CR has a blueish/purple light. IMHO the BL Touch is the better of the two even with the higher price. The rattle in the CR is really annoying, I keep checking it thinking my print failed. I just wish they still used the metal probe on the BL. I bent the plastic probe while using it on my Ender 5+. Happy Printing.

    why didn't you run the deviation test on the CR Touch?

    • @3DPrintscape
      @3DPrintscape  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. Honestly, i didn't think it would make a difference as the results can vary between devices and they are both rated the same. I just wanted to give a quick overview on how to run the test. I will be creating a more detailed video covering the deviation test more.

    I bought a crtouch for my ender 6 and the crtouch broke before the first print it doesnt deploy the probe anymore, so im sticking with bltouch since it just works and pricewise its 10 € cheaper 49€ CR VS 39€ BL I wanted the cr Version for a cleaner look, but fk it never going with any CR named things since the CR 6 SE an aquaintance bought does not operate as it should as well as my cr touch, nope sticking with the ender series and not with anything with cr in its name

      Yeah mine rattled too. I tried to install a slim shrink tube on it but the heat killed the magnetisation I think, because it is a shitshow now. 50% chance to activate it. I need to pull the plunger out manually in a right time before the error reported. Starting a print is like 10 minutes because of homing issues. Accuracy is still high tho.
