It smells like, when you go to the theater to watch a movie and when you enter the door of your screen and that cold air from an empty theater screen hits your face suddenly then you smell that cold air in the atmosphere, that is ganymede for me.
I ordered a 5 ml after a 2 ml sample. I am just so intrigued with this. A non scent wearing co worker smelled it and said it opened his nose, what is that?!?! and asked me to order a sample for him😆 It’s weird but I like it. I was going to order a bottle but now that I’ve calmed down I can’t decide!
Great review as always ! Would you mind comparing Toni Iommi vs Monkey Special.. I tried the latter but somehow didnt click with it at first couple of sprays
In my experience, the brain creates weird interpretations for new smells, new chemicals or accords in particular. I think that's a good reason some, if not most perfumes should be getting multiple wearing before we jump to conclusions.
I wouldn’t say I hated this at first, but it wasn’t a love. But now, after 6-8 wearings, it is a Like+. I do pick up on the divisive cumin, but for some reason adds to the already additive quality. It’s airy but strong at the same time. I sprayed on a bunch before playing golf, and got a couple compliments. For me it’s more of an outdoor thane indoor scent. It smells better in the air than up close. Also appreciate what you said about focusing on the positive instead of the negative notes. It’s like that with people. If we focus on the one thing we don’t like, instead of the many things we do, we end up missing out on opportunities and relationships. But if we focus on the many great qualities that most people have, we end up being more patient and understanding.
Review of my 2 currently favourite fragrances in 2 days, love it! It’s good that you’ll give it another shot. Batch variation or time of the bottle you got your sample from is opened might be a factor as well. I remember my first Ganymede sample having much more dentist office like opening and with my bottle i got more mandarin and the opening is fresher rather than sterile. Great review as always.

One of top 10 scents in my collection. Nothing like it and it lasts and lasts. Can be too much if you spray more than 4 sprays.

You should try tilia from that brand honestly it smells so good
