Van Conversion | NO EXPERIENCE | Cladding the roof & Battening the walls

- Our little home on wheels is starting to take shape! After finally finishing all the prep work, we're finally getting to the good stuff, and we now have a fully cladded roof.
We started the week by putting most of the battens on the walls ready for the ply to go on this week. We just 2x1 battens, with the horizontal battens screwed into the vans frame using self-drilling screws and the vertical battens we used a keg jig and 25mm wood screws to keen them secure.
We then started to cad the ceiling using 8mm cladding and 25mm wood screws to attach them to the battens we previously installed onto the roof.
We would love to hear if you are also doing a self-build conversion and maybe we could share ideas with each other, especially if you're cladding the roof or battening the walls.
