Omg, a river cruise on the Danube sounds amazing. Too bad you weren’t able to go. Will you rebook in the future? The Caribbean cruise also sounds fun and interested in seeing a difference between cruise lines. However, I really want to compare river and ocean cruises some day. Also, I would like to see packing for a super fancy cruise. My parents have been on 4 cruises and all have formal/very formal nights. My parents look like they are going to a nice wedding when they go on those formal nights
Hi Jen, love me a good packing video and this was great! Also, good advice about the travel insurance: won't do a cruise or Disney without it! So happy you are able to travel with your Mom. I was able to take a lot of trips with my Dad and sooo grateful for that privilege! Have a great, safe trip :-)
So glad you rescheduled from last year. Our friends changed their Danube River cruise for the same reason! You packed efficiently! Enjoy your trip with your mother!

Love the steel drum music, almost sounded like Jimmy Buffett. I wish I could do a long cruise with carry on only, but that, unfortunately, will not likely ever happen. You will love all of the islands, they are all beautiful and laid back. Enjoy the time with your mom. Let us know how Viking cruise line is, looking forward to that. LOL, of all the things the running clothes will need to be washed! I have a travel washing machine that I love and comes in handy. You either have to find a dryer or hang dry when you use it though.
Viking's ocean ships have complementary washers, dryers and even detergent for your convenience. I have been drooling on their brochure for 2 years and will finally go at the beginning of next year--can't wait.
My hubby laughed as we watched the start when you showed that you could get everything in your carry on and he said “she packed twice for fun?” 🤣. I really do need those compression cubes! #lovethem I feel you with the humidity hair!
I^m new to your channel and have gotten alot of good tips! In this one, saw your sped up version of you packing your bag and I saw that yyou roll all your clothes and you seemed to do it rather „quickly“…..how do you do that and have it not wrinkled when unpacking? I`ve tried to lay the stuff down, smooth out, fold in sleeves, etc and you seemed to not bother. Going on an Alaskan cruise/tour on Regent Seven Seas and then another 4 weeks visiting family in the states and hope I can put your tips into practice! Thanks

Why don't you use normal packing cubes for your clothes?? rolling tigher and neatly into cubes is the only way to go, you have really underfilled the compression cubes so that doesn't use them how they are supposed to be used, that case is huge to for the amount of items you are taking,i don't see why you would take a big case and struggle with it's size and bulk when you could have used a large capacity carry on case and the largest capacity personal item and still take the same amount of stuff. ....
