How a Shadow Teacher Can Improve Your Special Needs Child's Learning

I decided to tackle this topic because I encounter a lot of parents who come to my speech therapy clinic seeking advise on what the perfect school is for their child with special needs e.g a child on the Autism spectrum.
What these parents are looking for is a "merge" of some sort between a mainstream school and a special needs school. My advise to these parents is to choose a school that is willing to accommodate their child's special needs. And if the school is able to accommodate their child's special learning needs, the school should be able to allow the parent to bring in a shadow teacher.

If you are qualified ABA and RBT
Not renewing your license because If join the school even now they will Approve your license through ADEC
Education council
So only you want to do work with special need students

If our countries in Africa can encourage shadow teacher work it will help reduce the number of severe autistic kids.one teacher can't provide attention to multiple disabilities in a classroom though we have the differenciated teaching . I'm interested on the online studies when possible

Hello, thank you for your feedback. I agree with all that you have said. African governments need to do more to accommodate the learning needs of all children. And if they cannot they should at least allow parents to do whatever they need to do to improve their own children's learning.
