Darrell, you have someone running a scam on your channel. I got a reply to a comment I made where your name is misspelled saying I won something and to respond on Telegram. I somehow doubt you would misspell your own name.
@@spkernal It's a scam! Please don't do anything other than report it as spam. I get them on nearly every post I leave on any channel on YT.👿 I just report them to get them deleted. If you were to enter a contest on Darrell's channel, you'd go to a portal where you'd enter with your e-mail address. Then you'd be notified by e-mail if you won the drawing. You are never notified via the comments section of a video.

Had a D’Angelico Excel. It was an awesome guitar in every aspect. Always said that if they made a tuxedo for guitars …. It would look like a D’Angelico. Kids needed braces so I had to sadly let it go to a new home. Do miss that guitar.
Have admired the D'Angelico button crown ferrule and the art deco stylings, especially their tone. Great guitars.

I loved both guitars but I'm in love with the P-90 version. Also I really dig the simplified 1 tone 1 volume arrangement. Informative,great video.🎸👍🎸

I think it is very hard to choose. It might depend on what guitars you already have in your collection. I love the P90’s. Great video.

I really liked both of these guitar's but I think the mahogany one is my favorite. Year's ago, I actually had the privilege of playing an original D'angelico New yorker. It was an amazing instrument. I have never owned one and owning either of these would be a real thrill.

First time I really like the maple version. I usually like the dark woods but this maple is really beautiful finish.
That wine/cherry Mahogany with the P-90s is absolutely stunning in both looks and sound. Wow.
Beautiful instruments! I actually own one of their Ukuleles (for a special gig). Would love one of these as I actually prefer to play Jazz. Great vids! Keep ‘‘em coming!

Love the maple's fretboard stripe. Satin Honey, say on the EXL-1, is so understated beautiful. Love them all.

Wow these are killer eh DB I mean the dark to light fingerboard on the natural one is really amazing looking . That maple body guitar with those Seth Lover Humbuckers sounded incredible especially when you ran up the gain a little bit. The mahogany guitar with the Duncan P90's was awesome too. I would like to see the cheery with a high gloss finish on it. Well done sir

Very happy to see a review of D'Angelicos. I've never played one, but they look great in pictures and seem to have a long pedigree. A classy, classic look. Very cool to see one demo'd, since now it appears they have a sound to match their looks. D'Angelico should have done this earlier! (Maybe they did and I have not viewed.) I'm impressed.

Never played a dangelico before, the natural maple one is beautiful for sure. I like the Bob weir model as well.
That maple version is gorgeous. I have one of their now discontinued excel basses and love it. It would be amazing to have the pair.
That cherry red P90 Version has got my name on it!
D'Angelico makes a very nice guitar, I got my first one last year an kind of LP style the D'Angelico TD (tear drop) It wasn't crazy money it was on sale it was my first D'Angelico and won't be my last. I took it out of the box checked it out and the set up was almost perfect I tuned it up made a couple tweaks to my preferred set up, It has to be one of the best players I have ever bought it also looks amazing i could not find one flaw. Sold me on the brand!

I love smaller body semi-hollow guitars. Just needs an iced-tea color option and a Bigsby tailpiece. Hate the matte finishes that is in vogue these days.
