Thanks for sharing this video. A “quite” National Park with only nature sounds…awe. I don’t know that I would be courageous enough to negotiate a fair price for my food at the market. I always find it so interesting to see how people live in other countries. Walking past other homes to get to the last house that serves as a restaurant sounds adventurous - I’d go there. The food certainly looked deliciously appetizing.

Yes, the park was very lovely! And it takes time. Negotiating doesn't come easy to me but the more I do it, the more it feels natural. I was also a little uncomfortable walking past people's homes, but it made me appreciate the experience even more. The people living there tend to be very kind as long as we remain respectful of their property. :)

Hi Linda, great video content. I have a question, why are you renting an apartment instead of buying one? I live in Cerritos, CA and are looking to buy a condo or villa in Phnom Penh for retirement in the next seven years.
Is this a good idea or just rent for a few weeks or Months? Thank you..

Great question! My husband and I looked around and visited quite a few properties, but for multiple reasons, we just haven't pulled the plug. We're a little too picky >.< Renting first gives us a good idea of the neighborhood and the places we like to visit.

Thanks for watching! I got super sick once so I'm a little extra cautious. Now I make sure to boil it before I eat it. :)

Just don't eat any vegetables at all since they are toxic and have natural defense mechanisms
