Thanks for sharing. How much glutinous rice, chiu piah and red yeast rice needed? Mind sharing the recipe? Thanks

      Thank you for watching!
Mostly estimation on the ingredients because we are making a small batch for home use. 😅
Glutinous rice maybe around 1 small bag of 1kg, with a bit of yeast rice (a handful might be around 100 or 200g) and chiu piah depends on the shop but usually we get in few round pieces, roughly around 5 pieces or roughly 50g+
Good luck and let us know how it turns out!

Hi thanks for this video. I am unable to find yeast cake. Can i substitute it with bread making yeast? Like instant yeast?

Thanks for watching. Glad to share.
Unfortunately, using baker's yeast doesn't yield same result. Might be due to the type of yeast that is meant for baked goods, rather than used to produce fermented beverages like brewer's yeast.
      I haven't experiment with brewer's yeast yet... 😅
I usually buy the jiu piah online if I can't get from the shop. Hope this helps.
