I built a Swordsoul deck from 2022. Only card I didn't collect was Protos. This was LAST WEEK FRIDAY! I read the card and thought it would NEVER come off the banlist. And guess what happened 24hrs after? 😭

CALI FINALLY MENTIONED STRIKERS, LET'S GOOOOO BIG DAWG. I've been grinding the hell out of it on Master Duel, and even against Barrone and Savage I've had some very great success climbing the ranked ladder. I can only imagine what it'll be like in paper since those 2 hurdles are gone now. It's a surprisingly resilient deck that is amazing going second with cards like Lightning Storm and Evenly mainboard.
I play thunderdragon Colossus in yubel using dark, hawk, and mature chronicle. All you need in hand is throne and chronicle at the start to summon it

Sharks! With negates banned, being able to play through hand traps, do Zeus plays and end on a board of double toad, armor XYZ and Kraken be nasty!

@@audlaznagaming Just a ton of the rank 4 shark/water enablers, Abyss Shark, XYZ remora and then you just make Bahamut, Toad, rank up the bahamut for the armor line, Remora helps you make another Bahamut toad and Kragen :)

Ima be play danger bystial thunder this format. It seems different from the current meta and can run a lot of cool tech cards
Use genex ally birdman and make locomotion r genex with bystials and non target snatch a monster with the highest lvl
Great vid!! A tip for hero players: under no condition trade denier for 3rd mali, it will be impossible to build a plasma only with three mali.
The line is mali effect - denier ss mali banished back to deck - cross crusader ss target denier - ss denier - ss mali - cross effect tribute mali add plasma - mali effect (last one) - ss plasma
I love thunder dragons because I can track it in to almost any style of chaos like I took thunder dragons invoke and I think one more and turn it into a 40 card deck and it just worked it thunder dragons is literally a giant toolbox
Probably won't do much or anything at all, but waiting for the new ancient gear cards and getting the new Melodious support to build the deck for locals. Let's see what happens with the ideas to get Colossus on field on non-Thunder Dragon decks.

Happy to hear from another long time Swordsoul player that their Baronne went unplayed lol. Baronne+Chixiao+Blackout pass felt great when I was learning the deck in 2021 but quickly stopped after I fully learned the Tenyi lines. She was summoned even less when Qixing Longyuan came out. I love that 2400 burn after already getting burned 1200 just for making him. RIP my QCR Baronne though. May she enjoy a special spot in my binder until she has been released.

As a metaphys enjoyer during the duel links era I’ve tried to play metaphys in master duel!!! I’ve tried everything under the sun from a kash engine, bystails, as well as swordsoul with my desire for my metaphys monsters to never be garnets. I know thunder dragons metaphys was a thing just never gave it a go; however with this new banlist and hopefully these changes coming to master duel I can make my metaphys monsters less of a garnet and maybe more of a side chick!!
Cali can you do a tier list of the greatest decks of all time and there strengths ,strategies and weakness and what decks can defeat them ✌️✌️

Yo majespecters is low key kinda nutty. That field spell search gives you all kinds of options. Secret village is the usual go-to. Goodbye sky strikers and Runick. But also can search chicken game, necrovalley, or their own field spell. Super spicy option is boss stage and one copy of harr. When you tribute the tokens, it triggers the new xyz monster
Centur-ion is gonna go crazy this format post legacy of destruction, we can main shifter plus the new sychro helps out too so when crimson dragon is summoned along side it you can't be super poly'd. Shadow's light also goes CRAZY with the new synchro giving you a free crimson dragon. Plus we still have calamity (toxic, I know).

Here’s how they can let generic boss monsters off the ban list. Make them archetype specific like how it should have been in the first place. Borreload Savage should require a Rokket monster as material. Give it an errata to require a Rokket monster

Colossus in Spright isnt as easy as toss it in and activate Pixies. You have to tech cards in and it's nib turbo.

Waiting for dinomorphia supports. Please Konami, give them a way to stop super poly/goddess. A new fusion that cannot be fusion/link material or uneffected by card effect when under xxx life points. I like the deck, but is just very easy to out rexterm this format.
As far as fun goes , most decks>floodgate decks/sky strikers>code talkers esque cyberse decks
Actin like baronne ban does anything but hurt rogue decks while snake eyes continues to dominate is wild.
The synchro combo for snake eyes is the omega handloop with dis pater

I’ll probably play floow, but I hope it’s a more open format. I wanna play swordsoul, thunder dragon, danger dark world, fire king, branded chimera, red archfiend. Hopefully some of these decks will be good enough to compete and win some games.

@@AgentmortarAll memes aside it really is probably one of the best decks in power level. But it has so many counters and if it bricks it can't even set pass.
But oh boy, if Dark World plays you scoop. I once got Nibbed and still ended on Muckraker in EMZ, Knightmare Gryphon, 2 mat Apollousa, I:P, Bagooska, and the fusion spell set. And handlooped 4. All Nib did was make me have to use more of my hand (ended with 3 instead of 6) and lose a mat on Apo (hand couldn't make 4 mat anyways without sacrificing the hand loop).

Hey Cali, as a fellow VS enthusiast : how do you the deck will compete in this meta? The deck does well going second, with board breakers being the strongest they’ve been in years and can possibly work with protos :)
Apparently Spright monsters don't count as activating in the hand for Colossus. Wish they did =( was about to dust off my Spright deck
They don’t activate to summon …. You use the nemisis corridor

1st of all big fan, been a fan for awhile. But I’m noticing a trend of the intro taking like 130-2min to get to the points of the video. Idk if this is just me and I’m not trying to hate just giving my thoughts but I’m wanting to watch and if always feels like it takes way to long in the vid to get to the things I came for.
