I think colossus got powercrept pretty hard, destruction protection ain’t enough. Colossus legit has to watch Fenrir banish them facedown without any resistance.
Bro it's one sided droll that works as long as it's on field. And you don't do colossus pass normally. Thunder dragon is copium rogue deck but splashable colossus is super nasty and disgusting

Our concepts for this deck are almost the same. I actually committed to heavy tuners with the vision resonator package and a rev synchron and 3x tuning along side the assault synchron. Rev synchron can sync in hand with dragondark to go into scarred dragon archfiend triggering the dragondark and allows u to go into hot rda abyss with rev synchron.
The thunder dragon community remembers all those master duel tier lists being at the bottom!!

The first Cali video I ever watched was a Thunder Dragon list, really cool to see a new one, and hope all is well!
ive been playing bystial branded thunder dragon for a while now on master duel. It isnt the TCG, but it could be now. Its super fun. Between thunder dragon monsters, the branded engine, or the bystial engine you always have something in hand if not a plan A, plan B, and plan c
More importantly fixes the decks bricking issue, you pitch them to fusion if you open them without combo, or you open combo, or you just flat out open branded.
Other than the fact that bystials need your opponent to have monsters on their field to summon themselves as quick effect so you cant do it in end phase this list seems fun to experiment with
honestly I kinda prefer playing 3 ready fusion, 1 instant fusion and 2 matrix instead of the big chaos dragons, call me a noob but it´s really helpful to summon kaminari attack to banish a tunder from hand or you could summon the lv 2 tuner to go into synchro plays
i main ThunDra / Chaos
i personally also used to play assault synchron, but i swapped it out for ringowurm, its a dragon type lvl 2 tuner that u can use for 2 synchros in a row, and also searchable with magnamhut

I would recommend considering running chaos hunter somewhere.
Covers Fenrir and S:P, the most accessible outs for Colossus, while not hindering Collosus own protection

i use Hieratic Sky Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis to protect colossus
@@212thvermillion7 if they special summon, you can use Chaos hunters effect to ss itself for a discard.
They summon fenrir, great, effect chaos hunter.
They summon something from the ED, you can special summon ch.
(You should summon her before S:P hits the board otherwise S:P is just gonna go on vacation with your Colossus in response and then we might have a problem)

@@212thvermillion7 no, its a trigger effect (same category as effects like “if this card is summoned/activated”, “if this/a card is sent to the GY” or the Kashtira effects “if this card attacks or your opponent activates a monster effect”) meaning you cannot for example ash blossom their on summon effect and then chain Chaos Hunter.

Sauravis, the Ancient and Ascended is the best magmahut search because you lose if thunder dragon colossus gets impermed. (Opponents always have imperm)

@timelesshero6814 you're not summoning it, it's a hand trap that negates targeting effects. That's why it protects Colossus from Imperm

Arma/grepher/rota works well for normals and allows another searchable tuner if you decide to play plaguespreader
The more people play boardbreakers the more dangerous protos becomes. Its iffy. They call dark on you and this deck just wont get to play man.
Protos is huge rn. So many mono decks. Call fire snake eyes dead. Call light voiceless dead. Call dark many decks dead
Curious why we aren't playing cross sheep if we aren't caring about Nib at certain points, since it lets us keep Lubellion around and gives us an opportunity to play Branded Beast and end on an extra interrupt

Unfortunately, if youre trying to compete, your engine needs to be like 24 cards max with 10 1 card starters and 14+ hand traps.
Or you could just add the shadoll and branded in there but it would need to be like a 60 pile

May i ask why you opted not to run dragonmatrix? Is it because titan is mostly a going second option?
I cut it out because you want to minimize bricks. The ratio he has is the most consistent to recycle and reuse with the bystials. I’m at 45 cards but I also included Horus and removed my synchro package

I've tried with it in and titan is very useless unless your going second. It's so easy for them to chain anything to a thunder effect which means you never actually get to use his pop. Defs worth leaving out and playing a less bricky card

Thunder dragon has alot of utility. Definitely more powerful with colossus. I have yet to get the bystial package. And chaos angel and some of the other things. But i definitely have to try the assault synchron tech. I personally un a more fusion heavy variant with that of albaz, branded fusion and 3 of the fusions like mirror jade.
Can definitely get some good boards with the deck. Even without colossus. So glad this deck is coming back
