Lovely video. I just love that adorable little bumblebee in your lace sampler. Oh my gosh, he is so cute! And thank you for explaining how you made him & the other things. I always wonder how they they are done. You do truly amazing work
Hey Jen! So nice to see you again! I was the one at the lns with my daughter!! I realized after we left I never said my name haha. I was just star struck! I've never met a flosstuber in person before and I didn't know what to say lol. I am really really shy and such an introvert and felt like a babbling fool (even thought I didn't say much!) I finished the "Key To Home" piece by Jeanette Douglas. You can see it on my IG. I'm @staynstitch 😊 Glad to hear your roof troubles are done! Your bumblebee is gorgeous!! The whole piece is amazing but that bumblebee... beautiful!! Take care!
Hi Tina! I think you caught me off guard as much as I did you, haha! I sometimes think that because it seems like there are few Canadian flosstubers out there that no one watches, but I'm slowly learning that is not the case. OMG! Linda, the LNS owner, looked so confused, :-D that was priceless! I'll definitely check out your instagram, thanks for letting me know! :-)
LOVED the little tour of Bumblebee Lace!! That is amazing! I enjoy watching your videos! I might have added a chart or two to my wishlist because of your flosstube videos. :-)
ohhhh,,,myyyyy,,,goodness! that bumble bee piece was so awesome! you did a great job on that! loved all your projects, too,,,,can't wait to see the ffo's!
I understand completely about your multiple full coverage pieces! Some of mine haven't been touched in a few years also, and that's pretty sad. For Maynia this year, I'm starting 4 more full coverage pieces (because I'm crazy), but I'm giving myself 5 days on each one before starting the next one so that I can have a good chunk done. I agree that having just a small blob started isn't very fun or encouraging.
It's so good to hear I'm not the only one that thinks that way. I think I'm going to try to rotate between a few of them until they're done. Unfortunately, most of mine have a similar color palette, so even though projects are changing, I don't get much of a color break
Hi Jen, oh wow Grove looks amazing, what detail!! I can't wait to see her completed. Enjoy the stitch camp, hope you get lots of stitching done on your haeds. Happy Stitching x
miskacat1 I saw you have a new video up which I will be watching soon!! I just wanted to let you know I saw you subscribed to my old youtube name a few months ago but have my new name listed now an itch to cross stitch and have filmed two videos if you were wanting to check them out 😀 I have re subscribed to you on my new channel name too.
Sorry I haven't made a video in forever! I need to get back into my old stitching, flosstube habits! Everything seems to have gone sideways and I'm just out of my routine. Working on getting it back though! Thanks for sticking it out with me ;-)
Yes, I'm so glad to have the roof pretty much finished, hopefully it will make a difference in the heating bills here. I just need to get through 2 days of work and then I can stitch away all my troubles for a few days, can't wait!
Your fuzzy bee sampler is gorgeous! I have trouble keeping buttonhole stitches even also, I always have problems counting them too! Yours look better than most of my attempts! ...and how cute is that bee????
I was listening & stitching along when I thought I heard you say you were headed to camp in Lacombe!! Then you showed fabric & I recognized it was from The Craft Connection where I used to shop (miss it!). I moved from Alberta out to BC with my family about a year ago. I am not sure how I have missed your flosstube videos until tonight, but excited to catch on them now! Excited also, about idea of attending a stitch camp or retreat someday 😊
I'm so glad you found me! Are there no LNS in BC where you are? The Craft Connection is an amazing, but highly dangerous store. Lol. The stitching retreats are put on by the Frame Corner, I'm not sure if you were ever there when you lived in Alberta. She puts on 2 every year and they are held by Lacombe, the next one is in May and I'm really excited to be going again. Maybe on day you could join us?
miskacat1 there are no needlework shops here! There used to be one in Kelowna ... hard to believe that the shops in Edmonton & Calgary are my closest! It would be great to attend a retreat or camp someday ... I’ll start hinting to my husband 😉
just when I promised myself I wouldn't buy any new head's... Grove is amazing, I need to get her! Is the background all black? And how's the confetti? 'Cause confetti scares me to pieces 😅 beautiful stitching as always!
Hahaha! Always happy to enable HAED's, So far Grove hasn't been bad for confetti, the background is the worst part. It's not a solid black, but a combination of three colors. So I can't really call it confetti, but it's speckled and drives me crazy, you can very easily loose your place if your not paying close attention :-)
Beautiful work Jen and glad to hear your home repairs are almost done. Have fun at your camp.
Oh my gosh Faye! My home reno's have barely begun, but I will be putting them all behind me at least for a few days at camp. :-P
That bee project is absolutely stunning!!!
Thank you, It was so much fun. I have a dragonfly and 2 butterfly charts in my stash as well, maybe they'll make an appearance in the future

Thank you, I really need to figure out a set up to film myself stitching, I would love to make a few tutorial videos

Your fuzzy bee sampler is gorgeous! I have trouble keeping buttonhole stitches even also, I always have problems counting them too! Yours look better than most of my attempts! ...and how cute is that bee????
Thank you! The buttonhole stitch required frogging on several attempts, I had a hard time counting as well :-)
