How can I give those vegetables to my dog, sh passed away two months ago she was 16 years old two months old. Two before I saw her she fell over hit head and then my dad ran her over with the car, she did not hear the car she was deaf I miss her so much. I've got plenty of photos of her millie is jack Russell 😊
I keep a sack of carrots in the freezer & give them out like popsicles to my Pit’s, especially in the hotter months. They love them & I know I’m treating them to something that’s good for them too.🐾🐾
I've watched you for many years Ceaser. I've learnt so much. In communicating, relating to my dog. Daisy, my large chihuahua, long legs, is a rescue dog. Spent around 4 years in bad circumstances, abused, fed wrongly. I've had her 4 yrs. She won't eat any dog food, fruit, veg. I cook chicken, mince meat, the odd pork rib bones, she loves pork. How do I include veg, get her to eat, tried mixing it. Daisy can starve herself for a couple of days, if she decides not to eat, but drinks water.
Great video! I've been giving my dogs fruits and veggies since 2017. They also get raw meats and raw bone. Sweet potatoes, carrots, jicama, bell peppers, cucumbers, bananas, apples, blueberries, beets, canned pumpkin, papaya, and a few other things.
Thank you Cesar! My dog loves sweet potatoes, so that was a great reminder to keep the portions small. We slice and put them in a dehumidifier to dry them so that they are a “take anywhere” snack for traveling. So much better than some of the u healthy “dog treats” in stores.
I learned the hard way. Do not give dogs raisins / grapes. It is very toxic to them. It was heartbreak to see my dog that way and I felt bad that I did that. Thank you Jesus she survived, but like I said it taught me a lesson.
Thanks for telling people this. I’m very aware that grapes and raisins are toxic to dogs but many people don’t know this and dogs who truly love to chase anything they falls off the kitchen counter will grab a grape in a second. I’m sorry you had to learn this the hard way but I know you helped someone else from learning that way too. Thanks for sharing your comment!
I went to the vet yesterday and she told me that peas could cause heart problems. I researched the on internet and there is mixed information. The vet said a lot of common dog foods have peas and suggested I stay away from those! I decided to stay on the safe side and avoid peas.
I cook vegetable rice for my dog with carrots, pumpkin, green beans (we call them french beans here in india), bottle gourd and a bit of turneric powder with chicken broth and chicken meat ofcourse .. Some of the other vegetables that are really good for them are broccoli, Spinach, beetroots (altho beets will make their poop red 😅)
My dog loves bell peppers, carrots, sweet potatoes, watermelon, I remove all seeds including the paper thin white ones, bananas, peeled apples. I haven't tried him on cauliflower or celery yet.
Many humans are allergic to mango as it’s related to the poison ivy family….same histamine reaction…not sure if it might affect a dog….I’d be observant if feeding
Ever notice that no matter what animal it is, fruit and veg is also recommended for them. It is a shame that they can only eat certain types but it's good that the ones they consume can be beneficial and contribute to their health and growth as a whole or on specific areas.
I go to mexico a lot (and have rescued 40+ dogs so far) and bring some dog food bags to give to street dogs in every town I stop in including my destination town. Many dogs only end up eating leftover human food as people don't buy their dogs "dog food" due to financial issues. Knowing what "human foods" are good, and bad, is super helpful as I can better share knowledge with the locals as to what is good to give their dogs and what is bad. Most of them do care to know when I tell them, but they don't have the desire to look it up since dogs are very temporary down their due to their short lifespans living on the streets. More information regarding food options as well as things that could help prevent or deal with ticks/fleas/worms would be great to hear about. Especially for people who don't have access to vets or processed dog food
Thank you I will try to see if I can get that to you celery stick. I don’t know if they will eat them raw most of them I will cook and put in their hamburger.🥰❤️
Hei Cesar, thank you very much for this good information. We used to have two sheppards, they would eat any vegies starting from LeaveSalad over potatoes, bell pepper, of course carrots to even red ball redish, appels ect. The three we have now won't care about vegies or fruit at all. Once they have stomach problems, well sheppards 🤷. They get some 3 hour cooked carrots, but they look at you as you became crazy 😂. It works and sometimes 2 pieces of banana but that's the absolute max 😢. They don't give a sh... abiut apples which the prior once loved. Selerie and cauliflower we've never tried. Ah do you have to cook the cauliflower?
I have learned so much for you Caesar when I had my dogs do you have been God sent to all of us. Sending sending many blessings your way at least I can see your videos on TH-cam add on the air anymore. My dogs are in doggy heaven and they learned a lot from you, and I learned a lot from you as well so thank you Caesar❤🙏🙏🙏🙏😊🐶
Thank you so much for all this lights out fantastic information. We can’t wait to introduce our dog to even more veggies because we’ve only ever given him carrots.
Tengo un adorable maltipoo de dos años de edad y le encanta la zanahoria y pepino😍🐩😊 Aun asi tratare de ofrecerle mas variedad con tus recomendaciones, gracias César🤓💞
My poodle was crazy about napa cabbage. He once grabbed some discarded outer leaves lying around when my mom was making kimchi. She thought he just wanted to play with them but was surprise to see him enjoy eating them. Since then, every time my mom made kimchi, the moment he heard the first napa cabbage being split, he was going crazy asking for his part. He loooved it so much 🐩🥬
i just made a huge batch of fresh dog food. Chicken breast, chicken livers, carrots, spinach, eggs and rice =D usually i add blueberries but I was out.
I always learn new info from Cesar. I know carrots and string beans but didn’t know about celery or peppers. Guess who is picking up some this week. My dogs love their veggie snacks. ❤
Appreciate your help on this Cesar, it is very confusing to know what to give our dogs. It was great to hear you suggest some healthy options for our dogs. I will be definitely be getting those foods for my pups. Thank you!
My Viszla likes all that and as he roams the orchard he eats whatever he finds under the trees. In spring we start with sherries, then in summer pears, plums and apples. At last in autumn walnuts. He usually has no problems to digest, but I have to reduce his normal portions as he would get too fat 😂
It's so good to see you! We're currently feeding our dogs Normandy blend vegetables, which is carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, squash, and zucchini. You'd mentioned carrots and cauliflower, but I'm wondering about the other three veggies.
Awesome. They definitely love their raw carrots. I was looking for anti itch.. i'm anti vaccine, she has itched every day since 2nd.. didnt do the 3rd. Rabies down and spayed. So that was, califlower, carrots,celery.. good one, red bell pepper and .... i missed one. Sweet potatoe. 😂Which i love❤ she is currently feasting on a empty cow skull.. then bath when calm. Its so hot. Ps. We are very rural. She eats out of the garden as i pick. While i think its funny and not a bother, i might need to considerwhat she cant have. Other dog forced me to filtered water for all 4 of them. Dang. That is serious yall.
@@sandrabentley8111 But they're not wild dogs, they have adapted while being around us humans, and have done so for many many years, they can digest vegetable matter in small amounts, there are studies that show vegetable consumption in dogs is beneficial for their health since they can provide certain nutrients, like antioxidants, fibre, certain vitamins and some minerals that may be hard to cover with meat only (or at least they meat we have access to), so as long as you do so in the correct amounts it's actually good for them.
Thank you Caesar! I only knew about carrots and sweet potatoes, I was so happy to learn about the celery being a natural toothbrush for my dog’s doggy breath 😂🫶 you are so wise, I appreciate you
I really love this!! I already feed our pit Harley carrots and sweet potatoes but I didn’t know about the others she also liked raw zucchini but I only give her a piece or two because I’m unsure of it. Do you know if zucchini is okay?
Nice advice as always. ❤. Now I would like to know what are the best sources of protein for my darlings, and how to present them? I mean, cooked, raw or else?
Hey TH-cam! Let me know what you think of this video and what other Cesar's Best you would like to learn!
Anything Cesar I just want to see you!!❤
Are there more fruits and vegetables that are good for dogs!? Thank you Cesar! Love you lots!💞✌️

I would like to know what’s the best way to combat fleas & ticks.
I feed my dog raw food
Cesar, can you do a video on foods that dogs can’t eat?
I keep a sack of carrots in the freezer & give them out like popsicles to my Pit’s, especially in the hotter months. They love them & I know I’m treating them to something that’s good for them too.🐾🐾

This is what I was looking for thank you so much I feel better now I've been giving my
dogs the right food for their bodies to keep them healthy.
Cesar, I feed my dogs all them plus bananas, blueberries, strawberries, apples (minus stem & seeds) and cantaloupe
Dog's can't regulate a blood sugar, they shouldn't eat fruit with lot off sugar...give them meat
Yes my chichuachua luvs blueberries. He likes to suck the juice of the blueberries 😂
It's not good. Ok, dogs loves chocolate but you don't feed them with it right?
Blueberry, strawberry, apple. All high sugar.
Dogs should only eat raw beef and innards like liver, kidneys, etc. Do not eat fruit. Disgusting.
I cook my dog's food. Chicken liver, beef liver, sweet potatoes, peas and carrots and rice. He absolutely LOVES it.
So do I , and he ABSOLUTLY LOVES it!!!!!!

No dog should eat vegetables. Raw beef has everything they need. Get some livers, kidneys etc., also.
Fantastic information. Thank you so much.

I had given my dog frozen grapes before I learned that they should never have them. Luckily, she didn’t have any reaction.
Our vet just 2 days ago mentioned soaking carrots in broth, then freezing. Grab 1 out of the freezer and let your dog chew away.
God Bless you Cesar. Love your wise compassionate advice
Thank you for the list of vegetables Cesar. Can you do a list on fruits now?
I'll add when it comes to meat it's organic or grass-fed or wild (tuna and salmon). I recently started adding some organic chicken bone broth!
My dogs looooooove bell peppers, and cucumber. Theyre now a daily treat for them!

My dog's favorites were buttered brussels sprouts and rutabaga. He stood and drooled while I steamed them. He also loved pumpkin muffins.
Awesome thanks. Didn't know abouts celery for teeth. The only thing to truly cook is sweet potato.
