Did you know that for the Zakat fight, when they use the small shield to protect the head, if you were to use comet on the head, it will create an infinite loop where it continuously hits the shield until it breaks.
It’s in its own little niche. If you want my honest opinion? 2nd Runner expanded on things like ZoE 1’s combat and controls, as well as its graphics. Otherwise? This game was a snoozefest compared to ZoE 1. People who say they actually like Dingo as the protagonist are delusional. All they’ve really got is- “Well Dingo wasn’t whiny like Leo was.” Great! Leo is a literal child, who just watched a group of children HE KNEW be crushed by a LEV in the darkness and destruction of a BAHRAM raid ( It could have been HIM ). The weight of his mortality ( and survivor’s guilt ) has sunk into him all at once-and then as the cherry on top? A BAHRAM piloted drone JUST saw him dip into the little crevice leading into the hanger Jehuty is being stored in. He’s thirteen, and his short life is already flashing before his eyes. Lmfao that’s not even addressing the fact that he was an unwanted child, and that his remaining familial tie is probably dead. In ZoE 1, we have Leo having conversations with ADA, the AI within Jehuty, and their journey is largely them coming to understand one another to achieve a common goal: transport Jehuty to colony Antilia on Mars. Meanwhile Dingo just flies in with 2nd Runner and already has everything figured out, and is already heavily intwined with the cast due to some offscreen interactions. As a result his character comes off as extremely forced, flat, and worst of all: forgettable. Usually, if the character grows on me in some way? I can remember at least ONE memorable thing that they’ve said. I’ve got nothing for Dingo-save for when he flatly told ADA she should care about her own well-being more or less like Leo did in the first game. Except now it has no emotional weight whatsoever. Yet somehow, after years of having not played ZoE 1, some of the things concerning Leo and the events of the game are etched firmly in my memory. We don’t explore things like morality, and the meaning of life-and of how the world looks through the eyes of someone like Leo, or someone who isn’t human, like ADA. All we have are bonds that were forged between characters offscreen. Dingo is just magically relevant in all things now. The interactions between ADA and Leo are genuinely more interesting than most of the interactions I sat through in 2nd Runner. Not to mention that plot flashes by your eyes faster than you can say Zero Shift. So quickly in fact, that as I attempt to call to memory the game’s contents-only the introductory interactions come to mind. Dingo found Jehuty on Callisto, was attacked by Ardjet ( Ken ), made his way onto Nohman’s ship, got bodied in Jehuty, and then got bodied by Nohman’s Gun-Fu. He was hooked up to Jehuty by Ken, and that’s more or less the end of what I can readily remember. Oh, and of course I remember that we get to see Leo two years after the events of the first game, piloting Vic Viper. I have played this game to completion. ( Which-please consider this. Leo is considered a BOSS while fighting in Vic Viper. That would mean that his skill in piloting a LEV is comparable to that of someone who is piloting a Type-C Orbital Frame. ) All in all? The game is pretty, and its combat is fun. That’s about all it has going for it.
Right????? This is also a personal opinion, but outside of a few gameplay differences and the graphical updates…? I actually feel that ZoE 1 is better than 2nd Runner as far as storytelling, tone, atmosphere, and hell even its dub go.

Im currently working on a few game ill have sin and punishment 1 in a few days but as for zone of enders 1 ill see if my pc can run it because i have to do it on emulation since it was not released on pc.

Why isn't this game talked about more...?
Franchises like Transformers outweigh this.
