During the opening moves, I know you are spawn protected and use that to reposition. Why not use mines on choke points and or paths they will travel or push them to paths you want them to take. Slowing their movement and limiting their evasion. I know you like to do direct damage, and "take guns off the board" but since you are not really able to do that during this part of the game. Why not just seed the area and not have the mines on your mech just taking up space? Thanks
Afaik is it not possible in the first round to deploy mines, only movement not shooting. But you are right, it would be wise to deploy mines as soon as possible. Probably by using multitargeting on your minelaying mechs.
@@gr.o.m.6471That is correct, first round spawn fire was disabled with the current update patch, you can see it in the last RT series where Baradul abused the hell out of it with a quicksell LRM boat mech.
Amazed that you did not grab the ultra light gauss they are easily one of the best head lip weapons in-game especially when you combine them with the AP ammo. You can fit 4 and more in a 100 tonner en with a headshot computer it gives you 8 chances of insta kill as AP ignores seems to ignore guarded states. Also time to farm some orion's as currently they are one of the best mechs around all you need to do is load them up with auc5/rac5 and lrm or mrm a clan rac5 mrm70 build should be easy to make and has no troubles shredding mechs en vehicles till 135 tons in 1 go if you are in range. And don't forget to rescue your ejected pilot
I recently learned that things like tag, narc etc don't gain the accuracy benefit until next round, or at least until the next mech has to target it, if i remember it correctly. So you can leave it in any order really.
You are right at higher skulls you can no longer expect to make money when fighting clans. You need at least 3-4 units to kill one enemy, so lots of returnfire. As long as you don't get 3-5 mio out of those missions, after paying dropcost, you will loose money.
I'd love to try RogueTech - I have tried 10X to add the mods to play and it never works. I followed your video's - - still nada. No idea what I'm doing wrong. =(
In the rougetech launcher your Install Directory should be like C:/Programm Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/BATTLETECH/mods; the Checkout Workspace should be C:RougeLauncherCache/ The Lines are greyed out usually at default so you need to activate Advanced Mode on bottom left to change the directories.
you are using the wrong vehicle meta this season, that is the reason why the vehicles you are using a bottleneck for you baradul. the meta is bandit hovercraft and battlearmor (preferably golem ba) inside.
That's the kill team and you did underestimated them.

I notice u never switch your angel ecu to passive for the big boost on protection especially when you're far away. You're missing protection there

You can go to Solaris and just make money, get up till like 50mil and be set to take all salvage.

Agreed, or the 100ton wraith tank. Stealth vehicles/vtols are decent also.
