Khabib wants more in-octagon experience and said many times, with Barboza he wanted to fill three rounds because he was injured and out for a while, and with Iaquinta, it was his first 5 round fight and so he wanted to go the distance to test his cardio and gain that experience. I think it's smart on Khabibs part, it'll certainly help him in later fights and what does it matter if you win in the first, or 3rd or 5th; a win is a win, and an undefeated record speaks for itself.
