That's the exact same situation as Palestine vs Israel, with Palestinians being the oppressed ones under an apartheid system. Naturally, the October 7 attacks were more violent than Nelson Mandela's protests, and it's not as black and white, but violence was used to protest. The core idea remains the same. If you can't understand that, I'd be interested to know why.

One of the survivors of the Oct 7th attack even blamed Netanyahu for the attack, because he repeatedly antagonized the Palestinians instead of making peace.

Israel created the conditions that bred Hamas. The last 50+ days of death, tragedy & destruction that has been inflicted upon the Palestinian people will only radicalise further generations on a much larger scale. What the West fails to understand is that, as much as Hamas is an organisation, it is an ideology!
The “innocent” people, who were murdered on the 7th, by some Hamas fighters, as well as IDF crossfire, were attending a rave, literally outside an open air prison, where the “prisoners” (who have committed NO crimes, just that they are ethnically Palestinian) and they are treated like subhumans, deprived of a basic human standard of living (food, water, fuel, freedom of movement, job opportunities, medical care, education), then can you really judge what those people did? That’s called resisting oppression, by the oppressors, who are now, dancing on their ancestors graves, rubbing it in their faces. When the Blacks, revolted, against the oppressive treatment from the Whites in America, during the slave trade era, are NOT classed as “terrorists”, so why are Palestinian resistance? Not condoning what happened, but us sitting in a comfy environment, where we are lucky and privileged to live in a democracy, cannot judge and guess, what we would do, in that situation, where there is no present or future, after losing family members. Anyone who supports genocide, apartheid and colonial occupation, is an EVIL RACIST! No doubt about it!
