I am American, and I can confirm that your depiction of the USA is incredibly accurate.
You are the typical uneducated American who knows nothing but what other Americans and foreigners parrot about your country regardless of actual facts. It is a bunch of stereotypes meant to appeal to Americans who post the same stereotypes about themselves over and over again.
For example, in reality Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, France, Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark, Luxembourg, Finland, Estonia, Czechia, and indeed the European Union as a whole all have higher divorce rates than the USA.
Whether the animator knows this or not who knows. But it is wrong either way/

I miei complimenti Bozzetto per essere riuscito a produrre un altro divertentissimo corto di abile satira. Alcune gag sono ovvie, altre più difficili da capire (per esempio quella delle sigarette) e lo stile è, come sempre, buffo ed esaustivo.
Scatenerà qualche ira, dato che gli U.S.A. sono un paese meno autoironico dell'Italia, ma spero che la gente saprà approcciarvisi a mente aperta.

Actually, minus the flashing money part, it reminded me more of Canadians. In Canada you could be dying in the street and people will just continue to walk or drive right by you without giving a damn. Canadians will say no, but I've been up there several times. Cold hearted people, those Canadians.

0:21 "skyline" summarizes the main reason why Europe is better, in Europe people are concerned with the good life, art, good food, beautiful walkable cities made for human beings, not cars, etc., as opposed to the US where everything revolves around money.
Actually reason behind aesthetics is about history. European continent has much deeper history and value to preserve than USA. Although that, conservation awareness is still high in there.

Nah. It has one or two bits, but Euros don't get USAians. We're just too big. They don't get that the difference between the 'treme in LA and a ranch in Wyoming and the Everglades vs the Texas panhandle is as big as France vs. Italy. Most USAian don't get the parts of the USA that they did not grow up with.

If you ever want to do this well compare Euro to the USA overclass. The smoking bit absolutely nails it. You'd need someone who knows New York, Hollywood, D.C., Seattle and Chicago.
The different states, once you escape the ruling class enclaves in the big cities; are as different as Germany and Portugal.

Another difference between American and European countries especially those European Union Members are less strict in terms of migration. An illegal migrant can freely enjoy freedom to live, work and enjoy government services in an European country without worrying about deportation as contradictory to the US of A.
Or when you migrate to a county, you can do it legally follow their laws and respect their customs, rather than bring the same shitty cultural aspects that destroyed your country in the first place.

Half the things that are attributed to the USA are "It may be boring, but it *works*!". Seriously, living in France, I wish we did things the "boring but it *works*" way.
The rest are either "exaggerated for comedy" or "stuff that isn't unique to the USA".

EU Healthcare should be depicted with long queues though. Rationing is the only solution to an otherwise hefty bill.

And we do like having Halloween every year.

I disagree with the Smoking part. In EU it is very difficult to find place where smoking is allowed, tobacco is really expensive and advertising tobacco is forbidden in most countries. In USA it is different.
Next time I'll be more accurate about tobacco....
Really? When I vacationed in italy it seemed totally fine to smoke and buy cigars everywhere to me! Not that it seemed incredibly different from the US to be honest, just the same amount of normal to do there.
