I showed this to my wife, an Italian immigrant, and she laughed to tears. I was happy. Now since she passed, I'm in tears but I know she'd be laughing and that would cheer me up. Thank you for this video.

I was a child when I watched this first time (early 2000s) and I said to my dad: "Italians and Turks have a lot of common. "
After years I learned that almost every Mediterranean nation has similar behaviors. It is interesting to see that just having connection to one sea brings a lot of common culture.

Accurate portrayal....I shortly leave for Italy so I am preparing myself mentally to face the chaos. This will be my 17th trip there in the past 53 years. In spite of the fact that Italians take laws and protocols as suggestions and/or civilian challenges, ITALIAN LIFE is ptimacy of family, outdoor street drama, love, song, beauty, creativity, sun and sea, compassion, sympathy, warm relationships in every aspect of life...qualities.not always found in the rest of Europe....or in my country the USA.

It's funny that we, citizens of the "third world", look to Italy with high regard in these matters, compared to our countries. But maybe that's the same reason we sometimes feel more familiarity with them than with other nationalities.
