when I see such minimalist home I feel fresh breath .space for person not for thing. human need not soo much but in society there is trend too over decorated our home. not easy to manage every thing is clean.so minimalist is good thing.

The more I look at minimalist apartments, the more I realise I'm more of a maximalist. I would die in such an empty environment. I need throws, pillows, frames, paintings, books, candles, decor, textures... otherwise I don't feel at ease. It's still fun to look at what makes people happy! The wonderful thing with a house is that you can make it YOURS whatever that means. ♥

Now I wish I hadn’t asked to see your hallway, as it made me a tad envious, I have a tiny one bedroom and only ONE closet. However, you have totally inspired me to declutter again. My husband and I are minimalist too but our house definitely looks different. We are more on the mid century modern side with a lot more dishes, seating, etc because we entertain a lot. We have friends or family over at least once a week. So we eliminate visual clutter but cleaning off counter tops, not having a rug, many throw pillows or coffee table. Our house is small - almost cottage style so we don’t need much to look cozy. Anyways, hope everyone the best on their minimalist journey.

Nice and calming. With a bigger family, more difficult though. Many minimalists are singles or couples without children. And I said many, not all.

I love your indoor plants. Maybe you can consider doing a video on indoor plants- why to have plants, how easy to take care of them, aesthetically pleasing plants etc
We had a jade plant and left it indoors, all the leaves starting dropping. Took it outside without direct sunlight and it was alive again. So I’m a bit unsure what can stay alive in an indoor setting.

It’s pretty , clean and neat, but I would die to put some colorful pictures and plants! I just love color!! But cute!! Even black and white pics with green plants. I know, each to his own.
Notice how the sound is added after the video is filmed. This should imply that the echo in the house is very strong and unpleasant.
@To A Balanced Life I am not criticizing the person or the video. I wouldn't have done a better job myself. I'm just annoyed that this extreme minimalist lifestyle is promoted without caveats. A room which echoes is unsettling and makes conversation unpleasant.

Nice. I'm not quite that minimalist but my goal isn't too far off your space. I'd just have a rug, coffee table, side tables as well. My fiance has a lot of tools and stuff in sheds and our 3rd bedroom is packed with stuff. But one of his family members is living with us as well. Looking forward to being able to clear it all out one day. My pantry is chaos because of COVID!

Very huge apartment (in my opinion.) Nice tour.
Makes sense to get a smaller space if there’s nothing to fill it out. or maybe they use the empty floor plan for exercise or work/entertaining I hope. A cold atmosphere except for the wooden furniture and plants 🥶 but the amount of restraint and discipline to maintain extreme minimalism is admirable. I don’t think I could do it lol.

If you people in general don't have children can bring you peace. Lol... I can say that because I'm now raising a granddaughter, but they can also bring joy. Gotta love them! Your home is beautiful! If I could live like that I would. I do keep things to a minimum and declutter periodically. My concern now is to live more green.
Cooper is so cute!! What kind of dog is he? Cooper needs a pillow, for his crate, so more soft. Im glad cooper has the couch and the bed though..😃. Cooper is too cute!!
Thank you! Cooper is a toy australian shepherd. He's also an avid chewer so will chew and destroy pillows but I usually give him more blankets when it's not as hot and notice that he makes his own little pillows to lean on (;
I was a long time at Homeoffice. I wasn’t prepared for it. Now I have extremely back pain. I think a functional office chair is very important and I don’t know why minimalist try to tell other people that we don’t need a couple of things during daily life.
I would love to have a simple home like this. Although I would add an extra couch and a Tv in the living room. But living with someone who is not interested in this lifestyle is a bit complicated.

I use a stainless steel toothbrush holder because bamboo toothbrushes can get mouldy quite easily if there's too much moisture.
