I’ve considered using AI to take her voice off the song “mind train” and a few other songs from that wretched “fly” album she and John made together. The music is quite interesting on some of it, but her voice is unbearable. On the album “Approximately Infinite Universe”, she actually TRIES to really sing, instead of screaming like an injured cat. Again, the music is quite interesting, but it can’t save it with that awful voice.
John Lennon had just attended Bob Dylan and The Band at The Isle of Wight about two weeks before he did this show in Toronto… he was aware that he missed out playing at Woodstock and it seems he wanted some live appearance action… His voice is always astoundingly striking even tho he has a tough time pitching “Cold Turkey” and “Give Peace a Chance” It’s too bad he never got a proper run at bring a solo live performer…
September 13, 1969...Toronto Canada. On September 20, 1969...at a Beatles meeting in London...John told the others that he was quitting the group. They kept the news quiet because they just signed a new contract that would give them more money from record sales...that is until Paul McCartney released his solo album, "McCartney" in April 1970...and basically told the world that The Beatles were finished!
The uncut, continuous version of this appearance shows Clapton nervous, pacing, twitching, waiting for the music to begin. He looks really hopped up and extremely unhappy the whole way through, and I'll bet that he was shocked and dismayed when Lennon allowed Yoko to vocalize.
Just when things are picking up, here comes Yoko to ruin. Under the illusion that people paid good money to watch her destroy a concert, Zero self awareness.
Yoko manipulated John´s serious mother issues and used it, along with heroin, to literally control Lennon´s mind, to her benefit, And she succeeded. John could have had once again the biggest rock band and the best albums after the Beatles. like Paul did, but was totally emasculated by Yoko... and he let that happen. I´ll never understand that... ...incredible for one of the best Rock´n Rollers in the history of humanity...
I was there sitting under D.A. Pennebaker's Front Camera Scaffolding. It was Sept. 13, 1969 at Varsity Stadium in Toronto for the Rock & Roll Revival. The Headliners were the Doors but other future Superstar bands were there as well - Alice Cooper, Chicago Transit Authority, along with legends Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley and Jerry Lee Lewis amongst many other performers. The concert was good for the times but shows today are far superior in terms of Performance and Audio quality. Still a great memory though.
I still can't understand how Lennon let this girl he loved interfere with his music, what is he doing reading those papers and screaming like crazy, with that horrible voice, it's incredible but it happened!!!!😮💨
I haven't listened to this on my good headphones yet but hoping that boosting the bass and decreasing some highs removes Yoko and brings out Klaus Voorman. This album side 1 and the Who's Live at Leeds got me through high school. 🧔♀
Yoko Ono is the best. Lennon knew this. Real rock n' roll is always radical. It always upsets the ordinary, the straight laced. Yoko Ono is proof of Lennon's ultimate brilliance. Lennon was never ordinary. The contrast between Lennon's rough and tumble rock n' roll side combined with Yoko's avant garde wailing is absolute GENIUS. This album is perhaps the perfect representation of the 60's experimental vibe. Ordinary minds might hate Yoko So much but real creators got it. See below: "In contrast, fellow musicians over the years remarked how Yoko Ono's half was a lot more inspirational and groundbreaking than the first half. Iggy Pop praised Yoko's part as "the part that stands out. The rest of it‘s just kinda pedestrian." Perry Farrell of Jane's Addiction echoed similar feelings, stating that Ono's sound experimentations were a cornerstone of his musical education. Music author Chuck Eddy wrote that despite Clapton's sporadically "really loud" playing, side one's covers were rendered "quaint" by the Flying Lizards' versions ten years later. However, Eddy believed Lennon's "Yer Blues", which features noisier feedback "than the LP's start and end combined", was the album's most disquieting moment. He also described Lennon's grooves on side two as "proto-harmolodic"." Why Be Normal? Especially in the creative domains.
Woman, I am losing you, jealous gay .. entre otras genialidades !
I heard so many in the crowd yelling to take the "bag off the stage" when Yoko started singing. It was so painful for us in the crowd after hearing so much interesting music all day before this abomination.
Now that we have AI processing, I wish there were a version of this with Yoko's "vocals" removed, even if it would no longer be historically accurate.
Finally, a conscious and worthy use for AI!
It could be done but I am sure the estate would sue . LOL Would love to hear the Chuck Berry jam without her caterwauling.
@@PC4USE1 "caterwauling" yup.

Thanks for showing fans a little piece of Lennon & Clapton history! Appreciate you
Dig the Les Paul Custom. Lennon and Clapton. Adios 🌄
Amazing quality, sound and vision. Thanks for posting x
Thanks a lot "El Escarabajo" for sharing this Master piece of John Lennon along with great musicians.
John Lennon has that.great rocking voice ..
😂 what about his wife?
@@MannyFernandez-j4c Not so much.
I got this when it came out. John was my favorite in the '60's, and Eric is cool!
With todays tech I would th8nk taking Yoko's vocals out would be a huge improvement.

he was too much of a home body to be on the road after 30 haha
@@Halliday7895 that’s true
But on top of that,
he didn’t need the bread
Nor the crazy that appeared when he appeared in public
Muy buen video gracias por subirlo !

I love and miss John Lennon too thanks Debbie Pierce ❤❤
Hearing Yoko's voice ruining everything, I just can't!
Voice? That's not a voice, it is the sound of Aliens torturing space unicorns with drill bits.
Maravilloso 👏 👏 👏 se agradece el aporte.❤

In the early days of the Beatles if anyone jumped onstage and started wailing like Yoko Lennon would have rickenbacked her with his Rickenbacker.
John,Eric ,Klaus-all great and all on heroin at the time. The craftsmanship is STILL phenomenal. Yoko needed to practice her bagism non verbally.
Great version of Money and Dizzy!
Y la de Blue Suede Shoes.
Excelente !! 👏❤
Gran trabajo , gracias.
Conciertazo!!! Gracias por compartir❤
Gracias por el video 😍
Fantástico!

the end of the Beatles but the begining of JOHN"PAUL'GEORGE and RINGO
Well said! 🙂
Bought this album in 1969 or 70. Played the A side until it was worn out. Played the B side just once.
Los aullidos de Yoko Ono soHORRIPILANTES!!! DEBERÍAN BORRARLOS ! POR FAVOR!!!

Lennon the rocker.
For a moment I thought two cats were being stapled together during Yer Blues then I noticed some fool had given Yoko a microphone
Damn yoko, please cut the shit!
Original copies of the LP included a 1970 calendar with many pics Of course as a kid l drew all over it, threw it out at years end!
Alan White on drums!!!
CTA played at this festival. I heard it somewhere.
One month after The Beatles crossed Abbey Road.
Got that right bruh
Yoko looks better with the bag.
How about a version where the lead guitar is as loud as the rhythm guitar? Or louder when soloing?
I bought the album when I was in high school.
I ended up trading it to a friend for another record.
I still can't understand how Lennon let this girl he loved interfere with his music, what is he doing reading those papers and screaming like crazy, with that horrible voice, it's incredible but it happened!!!!😮💨
Yoko in a bag---just add water😅

That version of Money is so punk rock. at least 5 years before punk broke big!
Yoko was like a squeaking door

I'm afraid she did just the opposite.

From September 13, 1969
I swear if I'll see and hear John say "And now Yoko's gonna do her thing all over you" I'll turn my laptop off before that witch will start "singing".
And the Japanese Scarecrow jumping everywhere...
Yoko needed a lyric sheet for that?
❤

Good stuff but it's a shame that Yoko's songs aren't included. 🙂
Champman Lennon wasn't the Target.
where are the last 2 songs? don't worry kyoko / john john
Without lennon, Ono would have been and stayed a total unknown. karma works in funny ways, sometimes...
What amount and what kind of drugs would one have to take in order for Yoko to appear and sound good?
it really came together when Yoko screamed along
She was absolutely atrocious! I was there and suffered through it all!
I don't get why she holds that sheet.
my least favorite John Lennon era visually
Eric doesn't seems very happy
He was missing George's wife.
Flagrantly silly, undeniably cool. Best enjoyed drunk (with a bag on, so to speak). 😝😜😛
If you can find it, check out the parody, "Give Booze A Chance" by The Bonzo Dog Band. Hilarious!
wtf is Yoko doing?
Terrible beard. Didn't like this period of John.
That album sucks
ese ^remaster^ nose nota xD
