Now that's what I call a good day! It was super slow when I met you guys out there last month, but this gives me the encouragement to keep trying the inlet and what to use. Congrats!
Is January/February a decent time to fish the inlet? I'm heading there in January and I'm not saltwater guy. I know nothing about it. Been a largemouth fisherman my whole life and would LOVE to come into some big fish in beautiful Jupiter. I just don't know if when I'm going is a good time. Fishing was tough in ft Lauderdale last January/February when I went. Even fresh water.
Awesome video!!! Just subscribed!! Are there still snooks around the Jupiter Inlet area mid october? We are going there for one week. First time to that part of Florida. We are bringing a 15-40 lb pole and a 20-50 lb pole. We are thinking 25 braided mainline, 30-40 lb flourocarbon leader and circle hook. Is our set too big for snooks? What kind and what size hook did you use? We won't have a net for catch baits, do swimbaits work in that area? Sorry so many questions. It's our first time there and I just really want to reel in at least one snook. We are staying on Palm Beach Shores, are there snooks near the jetty where the dredge is? Thank you.
Your setups should work fine. As far as when and where the snook should be im not sure because ive never foshed over there that time of year. But swimbaits should work good.
Talk about making your day, week, month! What a beautiful tarpon! I was going to say earlier that snook took you for a ride and only came in when it was ready. That Tarpon, of course, is in a completely different class all together. Lol.
Lovin your videos man! As a shore fisherman, I love the different ideas and gear you use to maximize your results. I live in Knoxville but we vacation in Florida a lot and I use your videos to prepare for my trips. Thanks brother!
Use heavier tackle instead of biting video of a fish you can’t land
Gotta use ultra light leader so..............
Where is that inlet sirrrrrrr?

Nice snook and tarpon. I'm super jealous. 👍👍👍

What season/month is the best for fishing like this or on the beach near Jupiter ?
I have only fished there a couple times but i know the heavy bait runs are in the late summer.
