my dad was only in my life for the first 5 years of it and he is one of the reasons i have such a big passion for cars today, the fact that you are actively involving your son in this passion can only make me imagine how much this will make him adore it even more. I even find it difficult to think that someone could have a passion in something more than i do in cars, but i know that his is way more refined than mine could ever be. Well done.

Good job Ben, made me think of the days I had my sons with me on the Greyhound. I saved daycare $$, by keeping them with me until they were ready for Kindergarten. They are grown now & neither is a bus driver. Ben is smart too. Keep up the good work.

My grandfather used to let me drive his fuel truck he had gas and breaks but he let me drive it everyday after he got home.

That's what I did. I sat on my Dad's lap and steered the truck up the hill to the warehouse as a kid while he got the brakes and gas. Now I'm here running the company.

As a fellow truck driver, i salute 🫡 you. Although my father is still alive, we never shared such moments together, so it warms my heart to see the father and son bond both of you have with each other. The support and teaching you give him through correction while he is driving from the wrong side of the truck is amazing! When he got scared and felt like he couldn’t do it, you encouraged him by reassuring him he could do it and if he needed you, you would help! The best part over all though, is the fact that he is young yet very inquisitive! Thanks for being such a great father!

When I was younger, we would haul wheat to the elevator in these OLD ford dump bed trucks. they were 4 speed manuals but my dad would let out of the throttle and I would shift it for him. we were synchronized. after a while when I was a few years older (about 14 I think), he let me hold the wheel (he didnt let me before because no power steering.) he also trusted me enough to drive the vehicle he just bought so that shows how unwieldy a big truck with 4 ton of grain on it can be. These are moments we will probably never forget for anyone who HAS done these kinds of things.
and it was at that moment in that boys life he'll never forgot! Way to go dad!!!!!
