With those numbers that motor will last a long time providing they used boost to make the power and not timing. This level of power isn't even hard for the stock 6L80 to keep up with. Looks like a nice, mild, reliable setup.
The 6L80 likes to heat up pretty hot with stock power. I wouldn't go above 450hp without at least upgrading to a decent Trans cooler. They like to operate at 180* but I regularly see mine rise in to the 200's under normal conditions (in the winter here too)
When you get to the level of needing more fuel, you just swap to a different cam with a larger fuel lobe. Comp cams is making them for the new LT1, the L83, and the L88.
BullittKid08 Yes, these new ecotec 3 engines are fed by a direct injection system. You have a fuel pump in the tank that feeds the high pressure pump up in the engine. It is driven by a lobe on the cam.
Finally GM made the reg cab look good again
mid to low 12's, pretty nice!
Very nice
Awesome!
Very nice truck props man ...what size tires u got on their ?
Any update on this truck? hp? Just picked up a junkyard L83 and i'm looking to do a 92mm turbo build.
Thanks
Dave Henderlong
Wt was needed that set up.
ist only turbo charger with stoke engine , trans ??
Sick. How's the stock motor going to hold up to that?

The trans go kit works wonders with these transmissions. You're right though, keep the heat under wraps and they're bullet proof.
What are you doing for fuel since the new engine is direct injected?
it only made 438 ...im sure there max out the injectors losing FP... im sure they can get a few more psi with meth..

Fuel lobe? Lol

Sounds like 1969 lol
that's bad, I'm making 400 HP+ with camm
and bolt ons
exactly, turbo slightly on the small side and the exhaust is too restrictive
450 someone can't tune lol
Small turbo and looks like no intercooler. But I was thinking it would be more.
